Do you still have your black card? 👀
Absolutely. I remember everybody. My fault... I mean ERRRRRBODY! LOL
Yes indeed
I do 😂
What a lovely walk back down memory lane
Indeed I do.
I remember damn near everyone on this list. However, I’m revoking YOUR black card for not knowing the difference between movies and tv shows 😂
😂😂
😂😂😂 the comment I was looking for
Chile........ That was driving me up a wall! 😣🙃
I was thinking the same thing! 😂
Ultimately there is no difference, show it to anyone outside the American bubble and it's the same, also has nothing to do with race
Disappearing from the spotlight is probably the best decision they will ever make in life!!!
I agree ✌
I hear you 🖐🏾❤️
THIS , Like for real out of that madness is probably the best place to be.
exactly. 👍👍
I agree!
Kyla cannot be stopped lol she has been killing it since day one!
It's great to see that all of them were grounded young people who chose their education, normal paths to build their character off the screen, and are pursuing what brings them happiness as adults. Bravo to their parents/guardians/managers who helped to get them to healthy places in their lives. So many of the white child stars seem to have led such heartbreaking lives. I'm glad to see that these Black child stars made it through the muck of Hollywood. Thanks for sharing!
Good Job!!!
Unfortunately when you displayed scenes from
”The Little Rascals”
you kept showing Stymie (Kevin Jamal Woods) instead of Buckwheat
(Ross Elliot Bagley)
Facts was looking for a comment like this
Right lwas like ummm hold on a sec wrong kid lmao
And calling Fresh Prince a movie instead of TV show
@@litobrigante1413 lol same!
@rayray1052 I was like wth 🤦♀️ 😭 😂
It's nice to see so many of them doing well in life.
Seriously
Yes, I am happy to hear how well they are doing
The narrator focused on the positives. There was no mention of the drama, Parker from "My Wife and Kids" had with Chris Sails and God knows what else.
fr fr
I love how you showed Ross playing Buckwheat in The little Rascals and you ended up showing the wrong black actor who wasn’t Buckwheat.
I thought I was crazy for a second. Like wait! That’s not him. SMH.
I peeped! And did it twice! That was NOT him LMAO
I'm so happy to say, I remembered all of the actors you profiled,I'm so very proud of all of them, they either went to college, or continue to act, but they all seemed to be living positive productive lives! Thank you for this awesome video! 🙏🏽👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am happy to see many people still doing well😊
it’s nice to see a platform praising these people for being something when they were young and focusing on the positive things they do now instead of the bad
They praise black people yet so quick to denounce black people if we don't recognize a specific number of actors. What a damn oxymoron
Yes, Bagley played the character Buckwheat, but you are showing the actor that played Stymie.
I noticed that as well 😊great catch
Revolk the Black Card giver’s Black Card
🎉 I'm a late 80s kid so I know most of those actors. I'm happy they all transitioned well from child actor to adulthood.
I remember every last one of these child. (Now grown) actors. All of them are great at their craft. Much love.
How did you guys skip Brandon Hammond's role in Tales from the Hood? He did a great job as the abused kid
And in Blue Hill Avenue
And space jam
He was great in Tales from the Hood!
@@asiaroberson1750 I love Space Jam one my favorite basketball movies.
@@clarencesimmons8580 didn't even mention space jam. I'm insulted
I love Zelda Harris!! OMG such a great young child actress.🤎 Plus she's an ivy league graduate.🙌🏾
I just saw Brandon Hammond last night in Tales From the Hood. I know all of the actors, and I’m thrilled most of them led a normal life went to high school and then college and got excellent educations. Show business doesn’t last but all of them have education to have excellent careers. I get to keep my black card!!!!
I remember all of them. I'm glad they left the spotlight and furthered their education I think the Break did them good a lot of child actors end up depressed by adult hood not having a normal childhood. So congratulations to all of them on their success! 🙌🏾
Still down memory lane. Slightly irked when mentioning tv shows as movies. Other than that awesome content!!
Will make sure we correct that in the future, thanks for the feedback!
@@blackcultureunlocked Also, I was so confused when you were talking about Buckwheat and then showed Stymie instead. 😅😂 You did show Buckwheat, but it looked like homie played Stymie too when it switched to a clip with the latter in it.
That def irked me 😂 I was sitting here thinking when tf did they do a fresh Prince movie?!
Yes, I was bothered by the “movie” reference to tv shows🙄🤦🏾♀️but overall it was good.
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 IT'S THE SHOUT OUT THO!!!
LOVED Gullah Gullah Island.
We had a lot of black representation on TV that was good, but now.....
5/21/23 I'm glad to find out that many took time off to pursue their education by receiving degrees in studying the arts. I'm impressed with them giving back to the community and committed to being an advocate for people less fortunate and pursued all talents of the arts and even becoming a teacher! ❤❤❤
It's good to see that these young actors left the spotlight to further their education. These children are doing better than some adults. I take my hat off to them
Although it is great to see all of the outstanding stars who started as child actors, Kyla Pratt is the only one who has been consistently in Movies and television except for the short periods of time she took off to have her 2 daughters. She has been a regular part of the cast on Call me Katt for 3 seasons and The Proud Family : Louder and Prouder this year. Thank you for the updates. 👍👍
The vast majority of child actors usually don't pursue a career in acting. Most want quiet school lives and after that, they usually do something else.
Kyla is my cousin
@@GamerPrincessXI WOW ! That's awesome , she is one of my favorite actresses. Thanks for sharing.
Kyla Pratt had played lots of tv show besides the Proud Family and One On One. She had played the Family Matters, The Parkers, The Smart Guy, In The House, Living Single, The Parent 'Hood, Sister, Sister, Moesha, The Hughleys and others tv shows. And she related to one of the Wayans Brothers.
@@juanitadavis1795 Yes all of that is correct . My point was that she is CURRENTLY in 2023 a cast member of Call Me Katt on FOX which airs Thursday nights , and The Proud Family : Louder and Prouder on The Disney Channel which last aired in February 2023. Her career is still florishing since childhood.
I am so glad that Bryton James is still going strong. I enjoy watching him on the Young and the Restless. As a matter of fact, I am glad that ALL of them are doing well. Thanks for the update.
Oh yes. I am happy as well to see them doing so well
Being able to match the level of acting in those soaps is very impressive.
But one mistake his name is DEVON not Devin on Y&R lol
I remember all of them… they were inspiring to young black kids. The 90s 2000s is where we started to see more of us.
Facts.
Brandon Hammond and his mom(just figured out that was his mom in real life as well) also played in Tales from the hood. His caracter had me crying it was so sad.
Who did she play in the movie?
It is so wonderful just to see so many of the child actors that has grown up to be very good human being ❤
Yes. None of them ended up like Amanda Bynes.
@@NYRyder1983 🤦🏾♀️🤣
I agree 😊
“Come and let’s play together in the bright sunny weather..let’s all go to gullah gullah island” I looooveed that show❤
🥺😭🥹
I remembered all of them. It's good to see what they were up to. I named my daughter Amari because of her. I watch Bryton every week on Y&R
I am so proud of their accomplishments. I am even prouder to see they chose shows and movies of good taste and character. Praise God for their managers and parents. A great representation of who we really are as a people.
In the Babysitter Club movie 1995, Kayla Pratt was also in that movie she played one of several children with Zelda Harris.
This is wonderful, so very happy for them all . I also remember the little girl who played little Anna Mae Bullock in the movie What's Love Got To Do With It as little Tina Turner and the little boy who played Isiah as Halle Berry 's son in Losing Isiah , but I'm glad that all of these incredibly talented children are just as talented as full grown adults as they were in their childhood years 😊
The little boy who played Isaiah he's still acting in movies I've seen him several for past years
@@latrindah yes I've seen him also. It's so gratifying to know that they are continuing to utilize their wonderful God given talents and not let them fall by the wayside and that's truly a most wondrous Godsend blessing within itself indeed 💯👍😊
@@latrindahoops and please excuse my typo in spelling the word ISAIAH, daggone eyeglasses 👓 were a little smudged, Lol😂, but yeah he's doing wonderful as well 👍💯

😊
Some child actors don’t make it out of Hollywood sane so thumbs up to these child stars ❤way to go!!!!
Agreed. We heard of tragedy.
I remember all of these child actors and actresses glad to see that they are doing well
I remember Kyla Pratt, Zelda Harris, Ross Bagley, Bryton James McClure, Parker McKenna Posey, Noah Gray-Cabey, Brandon Hammond, Khamani Griffins, Ashley Amari Adams, the young girl from the Bernie Mac Show.
Ashli Amari was on _The Parenthood._
@@Joie2U I know that. When I said the young girl from the Bernie Mac show I was acknowledging that I remember that girl also. I do not know her name however.
@@misterbee66 Okay, your sentence structure makes it appear that Ashli was on the _Bernie Mac Show,_ but thanks for clarifying.
@@Joie2U Sure thing.
My brother and me and Gullah Gullah Island were my shows!! But all these movies and shows bring back great memories! ❤😊 I wish he would've said something about the actor that played Dee Dee in my brother and me. He is now a police officer at the Atlanta police department married and is still good-looking. I remember him being my first celebrity crush 😅
Yall made me feel so old. I remember every last one of them. I was a kid when i first saw some of them. Where did the time go
I still have my black card. I remembered 12 of these young actors. Thank you for giving us a chance to go down memory lane.
I still have my black card as well 😊
I remembered all of them! And glad to find this channel.....love seeing them ALL doing well and navigating through that industry!! Sending love and light!!
Movies/TV shows.... decipher the 2!!!
I remembered all of them and they're still doing good and they look good and nobody can do it better than they can. And I wish them all well in all of their endeavors
Thank you for sharing the lives of these young actors. We always wonder what happened to them. Thank you for sharing.
Brandon Hammond also played in a movie called Blue Hill Avenue as well
He was the younger version of E-Bone in that, I think.
On the show My Brother and Me the younger brother is actually a Homicide Detective for APD … blew my mind thank you for this you brought back many great memories thank you !!!!
That was the first one that I did not remember. Actually I never heard of that show and the one that played in the walking dead...I didn't remember her neither lol
You're right. Ralph aka Dee Dee is an Atlanta Detective. I seen on the new alot.
Wow, I didn't know that! My son loved that show, he was so cute.
The Our America story rocked our neighborhood in my teens and still hurts my heart to this day. It was great to see the young man that I’d known since he was a kid write the book. Big ups LeAlan
Good to know that most on the list got their priorities right....fame and fortune comes and goes, but nothing beats a good education and being the best one can be.
Integrity always wins out.
Love. To. See. They. All. areDurn.ing.Awesomn
In there. Future❤🎉😅
Crooklyn is my all time favorite Spike Lee movie!!
I could watch it over and over again
Besides crooklyn Zelda Harris the first girl was also in another spike Lee movie which is he got game with denzel Washington she played his daughter.
No, Puerto Rican here, but , I'm familiar with most of the actors, as I watch their sitcoms..😊 time flew by!!
All races are welcome here 💯
🤗❤️
Well than if your Puerto Rican you still have your black card LMAO 😂
@@evelynbeveraggi8724 Still have your black card 😊
Sure 😊
Loved this video. Its great to see the positive side of black child stars. We so often get bombarded with only negative. I recognized more than 7 of these excellent talents. So I still got my Black Card!!
That mad me feel so so so good to see so many good young actors go on to so much success in their life love watching them they all where good at what they did ❤
Yup! Still Got my Black card ✊🏿 This was My Era 🖤
These beautiful children are examples for all black children in the world. They all stayed true to themselves and continued to work at their goals❤ i have a blakc ultimate card, i remember them all, especially Zelda❤
Glad to see some of them still in the acting business and doing well and the one’s that are not doing acting are still living their best life. I remembered every last one of them. Seeing them in various tv shows and movies in their adult years I had no idea that I was watching them as children as well. Keep up the good work.
Recent sub here. I’m absolutely loving your documentaries. I’ve turned a number of people onto your channel so I hope your viewership grows exponentially. 🎉
I still remember all of them and I’m so proud of all these beautiful young people for still doing well in life blessings to them all
Great to see all of them are still successful in what they are doing .
I still remember all of them how can you forget any of them and some are still shining lights on us God truly blessed us with some amazing children that turned into adults great actors and actresses God bless each and everyone of them thank you for sharing the love
It's amazing everyone is doing well! Yes, having a normal life was a great decision to make in between their acting careers!
I knew them all!!!!!! Some of the best shows growing up!!!!!
I loved Parker in My Wife and Kids and it's my favorite show. I hope I'll grow up to be actress and a 'woman on a mission' like her someday.
what they did to my brother and me is unforgivable
I'm confused elborate more
I noticed that they each took time out from acting to go to college and it's great to see how they each turned out
I watched too much TV
I remember all of them 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I remember Vanessa from Gullah Gullah island show very well
I remembered all of them and glad they're doing well. I am livid you forgot Raven, Ruddy and Kenny😢.
Thanks though for uploading.
Most of these "movies" are sitcoms, but thank you for the history & lifestyle updates.
IG brought me here, and I got and kept my blackcard❤️
Love to hear it! 🖤
Good they are doing well. They probably had great parents guiding them and keeping them normal.
Two Black female child actresses on this list. How rare is that? Thanks for the video, we didn't know we needed!!!
😮thank you for answering most of my questions ,i loved all of them.❤
I'm really impressed and amazed to see all of these child stars that I grew up with, watching them on TV I remember Brandon from Soul Fool and Vanessa from Gullah Gullah Island and Kenan and Kel, always was curious to see what they look like now and what are they doing now!! 💯💞 👏👏

I APPRECIATE THIS UPLOAD!!! THANKS!!!✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
I remembered everybody except the one that had a show in 95 for one season, omggggg the nostalgia
Why does he keep calling tv shows “movies”????? 😂😂😂😂😂
It's so irritating.
It's ridiculous
Right!! I just said that to myself. Like bruh… they’re shows….clearly
It’s really good to know that they made a choice in their lives of which way they wanted to go ..They🎉 made some very good decisions❤. Proud to say I remember them and now I can stop wondering what hzz as opened to them!!!
Hard to believe how these children went on to continue to thrive and blossom. I loved seeing them again. Much love to them all.
I remember ALL of them and it's a delight to know they are All doing good. You JUST never know how great our lives can be from the moment we're first born until we become a grown up life is Amazing
How y’all miss Amanda Seals? She also acted in My Brother and Me.
Facts if that's the case they need to do this with all the black cast members in thst show as well
It’s about people not in the spotlight. “Disappeared”. Amanda is very much still out there
@@latoyaamb3r Amanda disappeared for years then resurfaced… 😒 I said what I said
@@MilitaryBeauty but we know where Amanda is NOW though! 😂 and we’ve known for several years since Insecure. We have no idea where these other folks are…which is the point of this video. I was wondering about some of these people. Thank you!
I remember all those young brilliant actors/actresses I’m happy they all became successful even after off screen
The actor you showed in little rascals wasn't ross bagley. Ross bagley played "Buckwheat" lol you had me about to take my own black card for thinking two actors were the same person. The actor you were showing is named Kevin Jamal Woods
Lol exactly SMH.... black card revoked
The great part about being a late 80’s baby that grew up in the 90’s you remember all of these people and and shows 😂 I fell old now 😂

Wonderful video. So nice to see the positivity in these updates.
Nice to go down memory lane! Good see all are doing well !
Came here from ig and ended up with a Blackcard 💪🏾
Love this dive into child actors! Going into a career so young, it's always interesting to see where their path in life leads them. Btw I can't help but be confused on why you kept calling some tv show "movies" lol. Either way this was a great video, kept wondering who would pop up next and was instantly brought back to their roles I remember. 👍🏾
So glad I stumbled on this channel I love this channel ❤❤❤❤
I still have my black card lol. This is really nice and brings back lots off good memories 😊
Yoooo I didn’t think anyone remembered My Brother and Me! I loved it.❤
Thank you for the memories. I was amazed to see all the accomplishments of so many young actors and surprised by many. I had no idea when I heard a voice who it was in the animations.
