Thanks you so much for sharing this amazing concert of the great Tony Joe White. The actual track list should read: 1. Willie and Laura Mae Jones 2. Undercover Agent for the Blues 3. Roosevelt and Ira Lee 4. Feeling Snakey 5. Stockholm Blues 6. Steamy Windows
This wonderful concert by the masterful TJW was uploaded the day after he passed. We should all take a moment to reflect upon & appreciate & give thanks to a great musician. What a legend. Thanks for the upload from Oslo. RIP Tony Joe White.
Such a legend, such a genius. And so few people know about him. Not least in his home country the USA. That said some of the greats from Elvis to Tina Turner, Clapton to Knopfler respected and recorded his songs. Wish I'd seen him live. Wonderful.
I loved Clarence Carter's version of Willie and Laura May Jones years ago - never knew until I got into Tony Joe that HE wrote it. He has a way with words and music. I dig TJW!!!
MA QUESTA MERAVIGLIA D'UOMO ERA ANCHE AUTORE DI TESTI DA LUI INTERPRETATI COSÌ MAGISTRALMENTE! AGGIUNGO ANCHE CHE ERA DOTATO NATURALMENTE DI UN FASCINO FORTISSIMO, TUTTA CHIMICA! LOVE
Special musician. Much prefer his original version of Steamy Windows. Also liked Tina Turners version. I saw TJW in perth in a small venue. It was Special.

Coolest guy ever
Man you can really feel that 4/4 war dance Link Wray in Tony's playing...I think his mom was Cherokee..you can smell the coals when he plays.
Your right about the Cherokee, according to what he told, his mom was 1/2 Cherokee, made Tony 1/4 Cherokee and we’re proud of it.
Thank you Gloria Zane Smith for introducing me to this sound so many years ago.
I loved you, yes I did!
