Was a little sad to hear of Tony's passing. I did get to see the man play and he was as good as always. Super cool swampy, earthy blues. You'll be missed. Cheers for the deeply cool tunes.

Wow, how did I miss finding this video all these years?? I was at this show, off to the left - So great, getting to relive this. I met TJW after the show; he was very kind, and had the smokiest, sexiest voice ever. My dad was with me at the show, and asked Tony Joe after the show: "What year is that Strat, Mr. White?" TJW answered in the deepest voice I think I've ever heard: "It's a '65"
