Hopefully its been explained to Harley that the Eagles are the biggest team in Perth by a fair margin. Crowd favourites and stars Hurn Shuey NicNat and Kennedy have retired. Current stars Allen, Ryan and Kelly are quieter types and don't sell newspapers. So poor Harley is carrying it all. Papers want to write about Eagles, but there is not much interesting happening. They aren't getting thumped so they can't even write sack the CEO, sack the coach articles... I'm sure the negative stories about sacking old guys will start soon enough. But currently if you want to write an exciting article about the Eagles then there is only one guys grabbing the attention. In the end its all about image and natural charisma, and the Eagles are missing those charismatic stars of yesteryear currently...
