Phil....You're right! Catalog hypnosis LOL {) I dumped all my seeds in the floor this morning to organize. I've never had them organized, Now here I sit with 150 organized packages of seeds with more on the way!!! YIKES! I fall in love with catalog photos and circle way too many. Your advice in a previous video is also right. Grow what you eat. I have package after package of seeds that I know I will never ever even sow into the ground. Might just find a good spot and broadcast them all together and see what happens. LOL ♥ would be interesting/fun to guess what is what IF anything actually grew!!
Although I live in Alabama, I really enjoy your videos. I've learned a lot. We have raised beds so we can work better without all of the bending over. At 72 it makes the gardening easier and more enjoyable. We have some with cattle panel arches for vertical growing from one bed to another. We can walk under them and pick from above. It's really fun.:)
Happy gardening to you and your family!!

Hi Vicki, haha totally understand, I always have more seeds than I need, good thing most seeds last several years or more! I really like the broadcast idea, good practice for seedling identification. If you do it let us know how it turned out please.
Raised beds are a great way to make gardening easier on the body for sure. So inspiring to hear you still gardening at 72. I can only hope that I am still doing this wonderful hobby when I am in my 70s.
I like the archway idea as well, what vegetables do you like to grow up them?
Thanks for your thoughts they are welcome anytime. Happy gardending to you and yours as well!!

      @@EasyGardenHacks Good morning Phil :)
We grew cucumbers, beans (pinto and green), spaghetti and butternut squash on the arches. Not only are they easy to harvest, they're beautiful to look at as they grow and reach maturity.
We've only been gardening for a few years so we're newbies. But, better late than never. You're so healthy and strong, you'll still be gardening decades from now when you reach your senior years :)

@@vickiiluvboxers4191 Morning Vicki, thats great to hear what you were growing, sounds really nice. For only doing this a coulple of years you are already taking your growing to some great levels. Thanks again for the kind words, I plan to continue gardening till I cant move anymore... hopefully not for quite some time. I have been doing this for over 20 years already and dont seem to be loosing any interest if anything I enjoy gardening more and more as I go. Have a great day.
