Very interesting topic for today. . :) Our very first ever seed starting grow light kit arrived today. Purchased from HOSS TOOLS here in the USA. Looking forward to seeing how successful our results will be. Thanks for another interesting video. Blessings from Alabama. ♥

Hi Vicki. Great timing. Which type of light did you go for? Let us know how the results turn out. Thanks again for the kind words. Always nice to hear from you and Alabama!!

Hi Phil...the kit has a 24" x 18" watering tray with an adjustable light canopy with 2--->18" LED lights, a wicking mat and 4--->12 cell seed trays. All 48 cells have been planted, SO here goes my first attempt at starting seeds. :)

I screwed up sooo bad. I got one of those light panels with the blue, red and white lights. I wanted to see if I could grow some cherry tomatoes inside. I planted the seeds and they grew tall so I put each in a bigger pot planted deeply. They kept growing, I kept transplanting, now I have 4 leggy tomato plants that are 4 feet tall. Can they be saved or should I just start over. Thanks.

Hi Heather no big deal. Cool sounds like you got an LED fixture which is very nice.
I have a couple of thoughts.
I would save the plants, but I would heavily prune them. I have a video in my growing tomatoes playlist called "Take back your tomatoes! How to deal with overgrown tomato plants. 4 pruning tips you need to know!" This will also help stimulate fruit production and increase the overall health of the plant in my opinion.
I would also start some new ones as back up and for experiment or learning purposes. (if you have space).
Best thing about growing plants is we usually get another chance later and any mistakes made now teach us more than if we dont make any mistakes at all!

@@EasyGardenHacks Hey, Phil, I've been watching all your tomato videos. I will try to save them and start some new ones like you suggest. Thanks a lot.
