Year ago , a puppy was dying beside a drainage , me , my father and my brother , (we are twin brothers) was walking on the road coming back home from praying at Mosque , we found a puppy dying and crying , it's stomach was really big , idk , he was infected with some abdomen disease or not , we were then in hurry , some people who were there tried blocking the road and me and my twin brother brought some foods for it , and water....my father then fed it water and some specific foods , Soon the dog couldn't stand up , was having a bad struggling and painful day , we then thought to take it to the animal hospital , it took us 30 minutes to set a go for animal aid , and then we hand over the puppy to the Doc , they tried to treat the puppy , but the puppy's condition was getting terrible , soon doctors discovered it have a very fast growing Bacterial infection , and doctors managed to remove bacterias and the puppy was too weak for anti bacteria medicine though , it was half dead when we brought it to the animal aid , and the result ! 😇😃😊 THE PUPPY IS FINE NOW !! soon , the puppy was released from the animal aid and living peacefully , and it's being handed over a person who wanted to adopt it. So it was my Best happy day ever...!

A few years back I saw a dog that was abandoned and took it to the vet. They said she had a tumor around the chest area. Luckily, there was still enough time to save her. I willingly put all of my money and savings to pay for cost of the surgery, etc. Now she's fine and healthy living with me. Each day I feel blessed knowing she’s alive and well.

Hopefully, what I've done can inspire you to help other animals and even humans! Thanks to the 98% of you for being nice. To the 2% who hated me..for saving a dog..? The saddest part about him giving his paw to the person videoing is that someone had taught him to do that and then abandoned him. This dog really had a home before and then was discarded like trash. It breaks my heart so hard.

Mrs_ SoDelirious to me it's cruel to leave your dog to fend for themselves. I'd rather take my dog to a no kill shelter than to know it will suffer trying to survive on its own out in the streets. Animals have no means to protect themselves from harm/weather and to find food everyday. Dont take my comment as arguing with you but as someone who is so heartbroken to see what these poor homeless dogs have to go through all over the world. I wish I could save them all. Their so precious and they give love unconditionally without much expectation except to be loved and cared for 😢

Not necessarily. That's one way for a dog to ask for more attention. They will also nudge you with their nose. It's a learned behavior but not necessarily a taught one.

To all the people who are thinking of getting a pet. Please dont buy one when theres so many on the streets and shelters who need a home. Adopt one. They make the most loving companions because they they know how hard they had it before someone saved them and they will forever love you for it.

I've saved many homeless dogs and cats, especially many homeless dogs just wandering the streets alone at night with no collar and looking emaciated. I once begged a taxi driver to stop the car bc I saw a dog that had been run over and needed medical attention ASAP, but I'll never forget the cab driver's response,"ain't nobody got time for that",so I paid him and got out of the car immediately and searched for the dog. Luckily he wasn't scared,he was so thankful for kind words and attention,and I wrapped him in my jacket cuz his little leg was wounded and carried him home with me,
(luckily he was small and it wasn't too far away from my home). I immediately gave him food/water and then called a veterinarian hospital who came right away. At that time I was just 15-16 yrs old,-(the adults around me didn't give a hoot), except my mom!, but I felt SO much better,-had I gone to bed knowing that this poor helpless dog was still out there,I would >never< have been able to forgive myself.

People who abandon animals are, in my opinion, far less important than ANY animal, any life, on this planet and do not deserve the right to associate themselves with the human race. Animals are the most incredible, greatest thing ever born on this planet. I adopted a dog from a rescue shelter that was 9 Mo old. Almost 4 years now and he's still a little nervous about trusting people, but he's been an awesome addition to our family.
He's definitely one of the cutest dogs I've ever see, maybe it's his eye's, dunno.
In December of 2013 our sweet German Shepherd of 14 years passed away. During her last year on earth we got a 9 week old GSD pup, from the second they met they were fast friends. Clearly our pup thought she was "big sister" or mom, after their happy, happy year & 3 months together she passed from cancer. Our male pup was totally devastated, if anyone thinks a dog doesn't grieve or get depressed I'm here to tell you YES they can and do ! My poor pup grieved for days, days and weeks. He'd hear our pickup pull in the drive and RUN to the window as if he hoped he'd see her jump out, when she wasn't there he'd slowly walk to the other room, head drooping and a sad look on his face. Each time a bit of my heart broke for mu pup, again and again.
My Vet and trainer suggested a "new companion dog" for him, I agreed 110%, a female GSD about the same age as the pup is. We don't have a giant backyard, but it's plenty big enough to run and play in. One big problem, my wife say's "NO WAY" until we get more property. Meanwhile he's bored and get's sad from time to time. I'm sad because he's sad. We're looking for a home with a bigger yard, that'll take between 2 and 5 months tops. 2 to 5 months is good enough for them to share our current yard.
My apologizes for getting off topic, but a sad "puppy" makes for a sad dog. Getting all emotional about lifes up's and downs isn't like me. I was injured on the job 11 years ago, I was a police officer, we're supposed to be "John Wayne" types. But I was ambushed by 3 guys at a bar fight. I have nasty back problems and a Spinal Fusion that keeps me from walking him as much as he needs. Boredom, and not enough exercise is making him a bit aggressive. Still the Mrs. is solidly against a companion dog because she say's I won't clean the back yard after their bathroom breaks...that's it, no other issues. That typical bar fight I responded to changed my life. I could no longer do my job and was forced out on a "medical retirement", getting only about 1/3 of what I once made. Not enough to keep the house in order, my car and most importantly care very, very well for my puppy "dog". Throughout the healing process that pup wouldn't let me out of his sight, he sleeps in bed with me, up against me when my spouse is gone working. He NEVER forgets me, never. My spouse say's I have a choice, my faithful, loving dog, but only 1 dog, period. A 2nd dog=a choice between her or the new companion dog ! Am I wrong or is are my options a bit unfair ? For me and my exceptional puppy dog ? Ever expect to see a 6'2", 225lb ex cop shed a tear? It happens.
Well, what I really wanted to say is that a dog is a great, loving and loyal friend. I really hope this little guy finds his forever home, and soon, an extraordinary family. Someone take him, treat him well and he'll be an awesome addition to a family ! Have a great day everyone !
Dear Buck, I might be sounding like a troublemaker but I think that your wife is enormously selfish! If my husband were in your position, I would keep my 'discomfort' about some dog turds in the back yard to myself because that's *not* what 'in good times and bad times' means - me nagging and standing by while the man I swore to be with until I die suffers from depression!! Stop being so submissive and understanding, Buck! She has been living off your salary pretty well and now that you are (probably) bringing home less money, she decides what you get to do in your own home?! Stand up and fight, man!!

4 years ago I saw a stray dog on a beach in Mauritius. He was so cute, I fed him, he wanted to stay by my side so I adopted him at the end of my vacation and now he lives his best life with me in France
