Many thanks to the kind construction workers and the woman who got the surgery done, and fed and fostered this adorable dog. Her beautiful smile will get her adopted, I am very sure!

@@rjman7504 There are many reasons to not adopt something. I'm glad that she did help, but I understand why she wouldn't want to adopt it. For example, maybe she already has a pet and doesn't want the extra responsibility, maybe because she can't keep up the money or countless other reasons.
This dogs disposition pulled me. I wish I was in a position to adopt right now, this dog seems like it would be the best most happiest partner ever to have 😢

What a perfect name for a dog this sweet! And knowing how some people behave towards stray dogs, I'm quite impressed with the construction workers for being so kind and looking after her and asking for help when they couldn't do more. Honestly, props to them. And as always, you're doing amazing work for these dogs! I hope Honey finds a great forever home!

Thank you to those construction workers for feeding her, for the family who gave her a place to recover from her operation and of course to Howl Of A Dog for taking her into your care. She seems to have a wonderful, gentle personality and I hope she finds a loving home soon. If she is still in the shelter in 2024 and you do adoptions to Canada I would seriously consider adopting her myself. Oh and shoutout to Freudentier for their gifts to the rescue - hopefully all the German dog owners will think of your brand next time they shop for supplies! ♥

Honey looks so much like my Wali Dog. I found Wali on the side of the highway that leads to the Jemez Pueblo in Northern New Mexico.
Wally had been hit by a car about two weeks before we rescued her. The accident broke her femur and her pelvis. Her hip was dislocated.
She recovered but I could never find anyone to adopt her. 30 years ago people were not interested in rescuing older dogs or dogs who had any possible problems.
Wali lived with me and 4 to 11 other dogs until she passed away at age 17.

Honey remembers me why I fight for animals like her.
My daughter and I rescued a Mastif along side the road. She had babies and they all died. She had an infection. A friend of mine paid for her surgery. I found her a forever home with love and kindness. I named her Honey because she was both the color of honey and sweet as honey 🍯

Happy this dog wasnt suffering as bad as others we have seen. Living on that construction site isn’t ideal obviously, but sure seemed better off with the workers feeding her compared to some of the animals we’ve seen in these videos. Good work! That dog seems so happy now!
