I have now officially decided that I will use this series' achievements as my endgoal in Minecraft so that in 10 or so years I can feel like pro player

That's what I'm doing in my single player world but using the achievements of Scicraft. I'm gonna make a 100x100x100 farm for carrots, potatoes, sugar cane, cactus, etc. I'm gonna make a 72k ice farm, a 32 chunk slime farm (already found a place to make it but I'm already making 2 other perimeters rn). I've been working on this world for over a year lol
in 10 years there will be so many more ridiculous farms XD

I prefer the relative scale farms but it’s impossible because I don’t know if any other group of guys filming as nice videos. Scale is difficult to even comprehend when scicraft is doing it as a team working together and doing it to push boundaries as the fun and not being independent and have brilliant guys together. Hard to explain but they’re way up there and we are way down here. I wish there was a middle for me personally but the Blitz definitely scratches an itch. Thank you.
I’d check out Kdender’s mechanists server series. They’re a 1.16 (maybe will update to 1.17) server that’s also got a lot of nicely filmed huge technical projects. If you like the Blitz videos, you’ll definitely like the mecha ones :D

After yesterdays video I went to watch a stream, and the person was making some small farms, then said, "Let's finish the Cactus farm" which I watched an hour of before I had to sleep. So glad to see it got finished while I was sleeping/working.

Tbf they got like 12 people playing 12 hours a day. Within 3 days theyve put in more time than your 400 hour singleplayer world.

Falls ihr eine größere und effektivere Obsidian farm braucht würde es sich anbieten eine große lavafarm zu bauen und die mit einem( anstatt mit 5 Account bei der aktuellen farm) Account in Eimer gefüllt wird und dann bei einem wither unter Wasser geplacet und dann vom wither gesprengt werden .
Es braucht viel weniger Account und spitzhacken (um die Effektivität zu erhöhen würden auch mehere wither dazu beitragen)

The lever set up for the wool farm was so satisfying to see.
14:00 I know they don't need diamond or even netherite Now but it just feels wrong to leave diamond behind specially deepslate ones.
Their goals are vastly different from normal survival players. Diamonds are basically useless trophies for them.

@@windywendi I think in the final few days there probably won't be any point in making new farms, in which case they could do dumb shit like fill entire chunks with the blocks they've obtained.
And really, it would only take a few seconds to pick up diamonds that are right in front of them.
This is genuinely crazy and I will most definitely build small-scale farms then upgrade to these computer-destroying machines.

They removed so much bedrock like how can someone have the motivation and dedication to do that?
It’s pretty grindy indeed, it’s about a few seconds per bedrock once you get into the rhythm of doing it, which definitely adds up to hours for the amount they did
When a farm doesnt have the ability to crash the server, you know its not good enough.
I know this was a joke, but a lot of huge farms actually start off laggy asf. They have to be optimized (wiring, reducing entity lag with vines or whatever, you get the drift) to be usable in survival. Lag isn’t synonymous with speed, quite the opposite.
Man Kdender's shulker unloading system blew my mind. Thanks to ilmango's step to step tutorials the server is really able to thrive!

The portal based pigman farm raises a question that I also had with some other farms from previous videos. If the portal based spawning is independent of the mobcap, why kill the pigmen with entity cramming and add another 50 permanent minecart entities to the world if the farm would work just as well without the minecarts? Is there a technical reason?
