Toyota has been kicking everyone's butt in the midsize truck segment. A terrific color, a very sporty configuration. Various people on CZcams keep predicting doom for Toyota because they are taking so long to come out with electric vehicles. But they are steadily improving their product line, and i see no major problems here. Hard to believe that a midsize truck is going to be around $50k out the door. Yup traded mine in. I hated it. Such a sloppy combination. The clutch actuation and throttle response was horrendous

@@davidr6865 I do miss it tho, it was just impractical as a truck. No towing, no payload, no bed space, and no interior space. Im 6’3. My head hit the roof without a sunroof in my 2018. Now I have a 21 7.3 super duty. 5K more than a Tacoma and Triple the capability

almost anything manual is more fun to drive. when I was in kandahar afghanistan during my deployment I drove a bus full of soldiers out to a fob for gate duty. it was an upcycled old hyundai bus with a 5 speed. that old beater was fun as heck to drive around on dirt roads.

This truck is unstoppable in the mountains, and the manual transmission is sooo nice to have, but no rear disc brakes??? Whoever made that decision needs to be fired.

Just watched the video. Could not agree more with the zonk’s. My 2015 tax has the fake scoop & dam drum rear breaks. Do not understand why drum. Plus the paint is coming off on the roof and hood. Any other Tacoma owners with this problem. Another great video. Thank’s Joe!

Got a chance to look at an extremely low mile 2022 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in electric lime green this Saturday. It's an automatic. I love shifting but I'm getting old enough and still drive enough miles to work that a manual transmission would start to get old. Love the color and want to keep the truck for a long time if I buy it.

Your correct, rigid needed to put in a full size driving light. Aftermarket will cover that with a great new socket assembly and light fixtures.
