WHOA!! I don’t think I have ever witnessed a more complete education over cooking in the kitchen! I mean…from geographical to historical, to biological straight into line-cooking training…SUBSCRIBED!!
I love your absolute love of food and the effort you make to teach us to enjoy not only cooking, eating, but enjoying the food you taught us to cook. I don’t want to call it a free lesson from you. Thank you so much for your beautiful time and effort. You’re appreciated.
I love learning and you make it fun and exciting. Thank you for that and for opening up your family’s home to us. Looked so delicious, I garnished much knowledge and feel happy after watching. Time to cook!
I love your cooking videos. You’re a spectacular teacher and great communicator. You need to have your own TV cooking show on a network. Thank you for your generosity, time and for sharing your authentic family recipes.
Thank you for this lesson! I’ve been looking for this kind of straight forward info on Thai cooking for years. It’s been super intimidating to me and you’ve made it so attainable. Can’t wait to give it a try. I finally made this for dinner tonight and it was awesome. My whole family loved it. Thank you so much!
@Jet: Thank you for taking the time to make and share this video. I liked how you connected the history of the countries you mentioned and food it came from.
What an awesome video! Makes me want to try all these for myself - though not all at once. I'd have been frantic trying to do all those, and you just made it look easy all the while teaching. Thanks, Jet.
Love this class. I started playing with Asian cuisine and after seen videos of recipes I want to try I always ended up in your recipes. Love the way you make it like a real person, show how to purchase the ingredients, and specially improvise, because not all of us have the time to do chicken stock from scratch or have all the cooking tools. Many thanks😋
Ohhh I was drooling at my end💖💖 what an amazing chef & teacher you are.... love learning the basics & understand the foundation... made it sooo amazing. Now I cant wait to get all the ingredients & try it at home!!
thank you SOmuch! i finally got brave enough to dip my toe into cooking, after discovering a BEAUTIFUL local market with Asian ingrrdients, anf your curry class was wonderful! it came out so so mu ch bettet than what we have for restataunt cuisine where i live (small town MT) you are a great teacher! thank you for putting a little shine on an inconfidant new cooks limited skill!!😁
Honestly this is one of The Best Videos I have found on Thai cooking. I am so thankful to you for making this. When you understand the structure and the building blocks, the process and food makes so much more sense. Please make more videos like this. Side note: if you could make a video on garlic chicken (garlic pepper chicken. It has different names) [I know it has cabbage, carrot, broccoli, cilantro and crispy garlic on it. I just don’t know the sauce and ratios] thanks! Kevin
Thanks for a wonderful video. You really know your stuff. Watch the whole video. Have a brief idea of Thailand food. Now I know the tips of how to make different soups all at one time. Thanks.💕👍
I loved this video as it really teaches the basics of Thai which is what I have been looking for. I wish you would show a close up of all the bottles/jars/cans. I will be hitting up my Asian markets for a few items I am lacking. Thanks much!
Hi chef, love your recipes! Keep them coming. By the way, I’m Cambodian and I just wanted to let you know that it was France that occupied Cambodia. 😊😊
Chef Jet, Awesome video! Would love to hear your take on the in-depth history of Thai cuisine. Side note, the second ingredient in Knorr Bouillon is MSG. Don't hesitate to use that amazing ingredient! Loving your recent content, keep it up.
Hai chef Jet Tila , I love the way you explain how to cook Thai food ( my favorite kitchen ) . I can see you’re a real chef but also a great teacher who keeps the attention of his students! Wow what a gift ! Today I saw how you made satay en two soups . This was for me the moment that I became one of your followers ! I only have one question about the Tom Kha Kai : I miss some kind of mushroom and what I sometimes see is pieces of tomato! Are this ingredients that are not original or is it what ever toy like to add extra and is yours just the basic ! Anyway thanks for your great vids , A guy from holland 😊 👍
Bless you, chef! This is just what I've needed. As a native of Seattle, I enjoy so much variety in cuisines, but rarely have the roots exposed.
