thank you for posting one of my most favorite recipe...love it!
TY for sharing! My husband loved this dish when he worked in the various locations you provide awesome recipes to represent. But this was a favorite dish in all the cultures and ingredients
Wow, this is now the best dish I've ever made. I was even inspired to make the noodles after I remembered watching you do them on another show. Thank you so much for sharing. :)
I made this dish this morning and it was delicious!! Thanks Chef Tila! I can't wait to see more of your awesome dishes!
This is the best recipe ever! Thank you so much
This is perfect on the fly food. The sauce is key and the only thing I dont substitute, since most people have the ingredients on hand. I usually substitute almost everything. I'd use dry Basil unless I have fresh, whatever protein on hand, whatever veggies on hand(bok choy and bean sprouts work wonders)and whatever rice noodles I have in the pantry, usually vermicelli or pho noodles.
YOU SIR ARE AMAZING! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I've tried this recipe and it turned out amazingly DELICIOUS! Thank you so much Chef!
Did you make it using the written recipe or the video recipe, as they are different? Thnx
Looks so good, and incredibly easy! Thanks for sharing this, chef!

Fair Play Mate.
Just made this and it was outstanding.
It could easily rival the same dish at many of the local Thai restaurants.
Very pleased with how it turned out!!

Awesome and hopefully easy Chef 🙏🤞
Real talk everyone, I’m posting this about a year after I first watched video and I’m commenting now on it because I rewatched it to see his process again. But seriously this drunken noodle recipe was so good I ended up buying this guys entire recipe book when I realized he had one on Amazon and it is straight up next level. Seriously every recipe! It’s literally called 101 Asian recipe to cook before you die and let me tell you Jet is not fuckin around with what he throws down in the kitchen I’ve made over 30 of them so far including this. His recipes typically seem too simple for that to be it but seriously just follow his ways and you will be fat and happy
Appreciate you!
Also he has one that is straight Thai recipes believe it's 101 Thai recipes I have both
Nice! I'll try to cook it your way :)
Thank you
Jet, I love your food. My reco: put the whole knob of ginger in the freezer, then shave with micro planer. Easy peasy!
My mouth was watering the whole time
Soooooo delicious!!
Two the ingredients in the description are not in the video; Mushroom Soy Sauce, Rice Wine Vinegar.
My favorite!
My fave !
I have your book which I LOVE! You told me to get rid of my fake sriracha (which I did!) and you're using it here!! LOL! BTW, the ginger in this video is missing from the list of ingredients in the recipe in the book. Glad I found this video before I made it. So delicious!
Mmmm! Watched the video, and now I'm craving drunken noodles (though I prefer them made with pork). I don't have the fresh rice noodles or the sweet soy sauce on hand, so I might order up some take-out for dinner. Thanx, Jet!
Jet has got to be the best name ever
Great video
A 4 minute cooking vid with real technical instructions, ingredient explanation, and the food looks like that...! In a 4 min vid! Why aren’t more CZcams cooking videos like this!!!
amazing contents
hope you keep update :)
Yum!
My dad lovessss this
Tila has also set three world records: for creating the world's largest stir fry (4,010 lbs.); the world's largest seafood stew (6,656 lbs.); and the largest California roll (422 ft.).
That thumbnail screams fake apology video
Wasn't trying to rude but I just didn't see the rice wine or mushroom soy being use in the video as the ingredients specified. Still love your cooking though:-)
Thanks Jet Li
Yum
wow my dad owns this chanel with jet
Also look up how to vevlet you protien. Whether from pork to chicken beef and shrine. Used a lot of any type of starch
Thanks for sharing. Are drunken noodles the aame thing as lot nah? Looks similar
Perfection! You are awesome :)
I am allergic to fish but would love to make this! What can I substitute the fish sauce with?
I just made this and it is really good! I have another recipe for this and was hesitant to try this one because of the fish sauce. I'm glad I did because it is better. WARNING! FISH SAUCE! Ask any asian who uses this and they will tell you the secret.

When does the rice wine come into play?
Never heard of this guy... ever! This dish can be easily found at any Thai restaurant. Made it for my family all the time at home. Super simple dish, even for the home cooks :)
He's all over the food network. He and Alton Brown have done many things together. Jet Tila has been appointed the first Culinary Ambassador of Thai Cuisine by the Royal Thai Consul General in Los Angeles, tasked with spreading awareness nationwide and making official his unofficial - and long-standing - role as a guide to the cuisine.
I have been to vietnam and china and thailand
What knife are you using?
wheres your restaurant at in las vegas??
I notice that there is NO GINGER!!! and added rice wine in the written recipe below the video. Anyway, I improvised and just added more brown sugar to taste after initial salty test. It was bomb!!! The only thin I didn't like was the dry pork. I think I may try marinating/ oiling and corn starching it first. I also did shrimp with the shells on for flavor. I'm making this again next week with the exact recipe in the video including the brand sauces but with new york or ribeye. should be dope!
Did anyone make this and use the mushroom soy and rice wine?
Just curious.... why does it say you put mushroom soy sauce in the description but not in the video?
Question: Isn’t Drunken noodles similar to Fried Kway Teoh found in Malaysia and Singapore?
Hi,
Ate this every day in Wazazu when I was staying in Encore... love it!
Can someone tell me which brands the sauces are from to get the exact same taste?
Thank you very much in advance!
just go to your local asian store and go to the soy sauce section. there should be a dragon fly on the bottle like the one he's using. if you can't find it just ask an employee to help you find it. good luck!
Thank you!
What sauce did he add at the end ?
What kind of knife are you using?!
a sharp one
Can you make this dish without a wok?
How many does this make for?
My favorite food ever in the entire world when done right!! I've also had very bad pad Kee mao... you never know. Sucks to get it with no basil or a plate full of zucchini. It has to beslightly sweet and the sauce reddish....his looks really good. Haters.
Were you making these noodles for the first time for yourself or for a customer
I love drunken shrimp with thin semi hard noodles.
It's a dish YOU made famous in LV? i doubt that. It's literally one of the most standard thai dishes lol
I'm a year late, but thank you.
Was it just unknown in LV before he made it there? Or do you think the claim is completely dubious?
i really doubt these are good too lol, nothing special here. only good for people that dont ever cook might consider this the best recipe..
A little embellishment goes a long way
What kind of Thai basil are you using? Sweet or holy basil?
holy basil is something else. it's just called "thai basil" when i go to the grocery store. not sure if this helped lol.. but they have purple-ish stems
👀 me watching , waiting to see when he's going to add in the rice wine and mushroom soy.
Must be optional ingredients.
Please make Thai fried rice
Wait is the mushroom soy sauce a new addition to the recipe? I don’t remember using that when I made this like 3 years ago
Sally Girl I believe it can be used interchangeably
Unless the beef version is very different, my local Thai restaurant has been slacking on the ingredients. It's not bad, but a little on the greasy side.
I thought my local restaurant version could have used some acid like fresh lime juice sprinkled on it, but they lack the tomatoes in this recipe.
