I put a -1.5 degree angleset and a 150mm fork on my 2014 Tallboy LT and it absolutely transformed the bike. It's still not as good at descending as a modern bike, but it's much lighter and more nimble than modern bikes
Cascade is a must have upgrade in this bike. The best upgrade I have done. Went with Ohlins ttx air 1 month ago, now I am trying ttx22m 200x50.
Really good video and the end was funny for real! Subscribed!
Nice truck!!👍🤤
Sick ride brotha! Fun video . Thanks for sharing your experiences, I am now even more curious about getting one of these rocket bikes. Cheers mate!...🤟
Any time! Thanks for watching.
Awesome. Hope there's more content on this. Want to know more about the link and even then truck too.
Absolutely, stay tuned
:)
@@artscyclery875 soooooo long term update?!
🤣 enjoyed that. Wish my gfs Tallboy was a medium so I could steal it!
Tear it up!
Awesome build! I was trying to buy a 22’ Tallboy from Art’s but it was on back order for days! Had to buy it somewhere else 😕Question, what trail is this? Looks sick!
I have the same set up with the DPX2 and cascade link but struggling a bit to get this awesome feel everyone is raving about! Did you use the Cascade recommended pressure and are you using any volume spacers? Thanks.
Hi, just a random question: what tube/tool strap is that? Would look nice on my bike too😜
I'm on the fence between selling my 2021 Tallboy AL D and getting a Hightower OR upgrading my Tallboy over time. Would you recommend upgrading the Fork or the Shock first? Also, what size DPX2 did you use? Thanks! Love this video!
I love the TB with good suspension. the shock size is 190x45
Hello Trevor what bike do you think performs better all round your SC Blur DC or this Tallboy Lt ? Nice builds 👌
The blur is a pedal machine but the TB hands down goes downhill better.
Will the cascade link void the frame warranty?
Great vid man! Did you ride with the dps before upgrading to dpx2? If so, is it much of an upgrade?
I rode the stock ops and can say the dpx was a huge upgrade, especially in the rocks.
What position do you have the flip chip in? Cool bike.
The flip chip on the link is eliminated and I was running the axle flip-chip in the long setting.
I have a tallboy4 with a fox 36 I just ordered the cascade link. Do you think I also need a dpx2 over the dps?
The DPX2 is a HUGE upgrade.
Have you noticed increased pedal strikes with the cascade link
@@jamescurl9943 Not at all
@@artscyclery875 So to be aligned with Cascade recommendations, , is it the 190 mm x 45 mm DPX2 installed ? Great vid' btw !!
Siiiick build brah. How tall are you and what size frame? Also, where's this spot? Shaka...
6'2" and Whale Rock Reservoir area
Do you ride an L for what kind of height ? Awesome video btw !!
XL at 6'2"
Are you running the short or long rear dropouts?
long
F#@&'n gipper gappers brrroooooo!!!🤘🤘🤘 lol
what color is this?
the Ebony/Ivory color from I believe 2020
