The v5 felt Bobby to me whereas my 2019 climbs like a goat and does all.

@siTTinLo i had a V3, it felt more poppy, but the V5 to me felt more planted and goes uphill better for me

5010 was my first SC as well. I just don't see how you'd take it now over something like the tallboy.

For ultimate playfulness? Or because you’re short and need the butt clearance of a mullet bike? The 5010 isn’t the mullet version of the TB, it’s the 5010, ie the most playful bike they could make that is still capable enough to be called a trailbike. I absolutely love my v4, it’s one of the few bikes in my twenty years of riding that actually made me a better rider.

How would you compare the 5010 to the Tallboy?

More capable on steep and tech, more playfull. Less quick moving and hangs up more because of the small rear wheel. Both great bikes.

You only lose out on the climbs, mullet puts your weight over the back wheel which is nice on the way down plus easier to corner
