No budget?! Its low budget sure but so many people have done so much more with less.

benny loves you, one of my favorite horror films of the 2010's, was made on a 70,000 pound budget. and that has some of the best effects i've seen in a modern indie horror movie!

I’ve actually been in the exact location where the post credit scene is filmed. It’s in Nashville in a mall area and that fish tank is apart of a restaurant which a went to eat. I only noticed it because I sat in the massage chairs to the right of it waiting for my parents.

Fun fact, this was filmed in Nashville, TN, the end scene was filmed in a local mall called Opry Mills outside of a seafood restaurant called The Aquarium Restaurant. The little shark doll the actress has is sold inside a gift shop attached to the restaurant.
I ate at that restaurant for my birthday one year, I'm just glad I didn't get possessed by an evil shark spirit.
It was filmed in Nashville, Bruceton, Hollow Rock, Camden, Buena Vista, and Paris Tennessee. I know of and have been to nearly every location in the movie. I grew up in the area.
Whoa, don't rag on the arcade scene. It's deep and symbolic. "Shark game" is a symbol for "sharks are no game.... Uh uh.... Don't play with sharks". This is the kind of thing that I like to call "Art"

The fact that they didn’t even bother with gimbal stabilizers for the cameras and you can see the camera shake as the cameraman moves really shows how little they cared for making an actual movie

I read the title and saw the thumbnail and just thought *Oh this is gonna be good.* and was not disappointed.
Also, the shark game the lady was playing was legit outside a cineplex in my old city and I adored it.
The studio's title card honestly was a pretty good representation of what this movie was like

We had better effects for blood and gore because we knew not to show too much, and used chocolate syrup with black and white film(thanks for that one Hitchcock)
We intentionally parodied how so much low budget shit starts every scene with half a second of silence because they suck at trimming clips
And we even rigged up a fake Boom Mic so we could make fun of movies that couldn't keep the boom out of the shots
And that's not even looking for a pat on the back or anything. Just shows how fucking low the bar can be set for movies like this lol

I have this on DVD. The exorcism near the end is such a slap in the face because it's so obviously based on the same one from The Exorcist, with the priest sacrificing himself for the girl, but in The Exorcist he'd been working tirelessly for hours and it was his last hopeless attempt to save a child, but in this movie he just... tries for five minutes, gets puked on, and sharks out.
You really up the gusto for this one. I mean you truly hammer home your appreciation for this artistic gem. I really walk away from this feeling your passionate admiration for the documentary "Shark Exorcist", and I intend to purchase it soon so that I might be blessed with a similarly transformative viewing experience.

I watched "Shark Exorcist" last year on Amazon Prime Video (I think), and it was funnier than most comedies I've seen. IDK if the producers planned for it to be bad ironically but it'd be funnier if they didn't. LOL There should be some kind of crossover sequel featuring "Veloci-Pastor." I'd pay money to see that.
