Only if we take into account how narcissistic and egotistical someone like Geoff would be, they’d probably wanna be onscreen as much as possible, and would also likely try to make themself look as good as possible. In the end, what’s really commendable about him willingly killing himself off is that he didn’t allow himself to be the final sole survivor or something like that because that would imply that he alone could defeat the Swamp Ape, thus inflating his already bloated ego if you get what I mean.

She didn't even know she was in a movie. They just told her they'd keep giving her food, and that's when she stopped paying attention.
some of those scenes she seemed to be pretendign or taking the smalles bites she can like she's reluctant. Poor girl probably tries to be healthy to lose weight or to not gain even more, and then got cast in this just because of her weight and was told to eat throughout the movie, and it's not like you're gonna get a lot of chances to be in a movie.

A year ago, my dog's leash-rope (a rope made out of several leashes connected to each other) had a leash snap in half when she was pulling against it to come inside. Not only was the leash itself old, but since it was outdoors it most likely weakened from rain as well.
