Dude you are a fu****** legend!! DCS remains one of the hardest video games or I should say simulators, in terms of « gameplay » and you just fly a fighter jet knowing that they’re extremely complex. More flying please!
Happy that you like it, probably more to come, might even try one in mixed reality. I have a second, very small German channel with VR in general and no simracing. Just in case you would be interested. czcams.com/video/JTKVVdD2Ltw/video.html
Impressive although realistically there would never be such thing as a cross wind carrier landing irl because carriers always sail into the wind, from my knowledge. Anyway nice flying.
Great to see another video from you, MRSR - in the fastest MOD car I've ever seen ;D And please stay safe - as we need more video's from Mr Mixed Reality Sim Racing (or Marcel for short ; )
It's a simple plastic chair, I've cut a half circle in the front to fit the stick.
Kanal mal anschauen👍
Would be mostly the same as for simracing but because you look up a lot while flying you have to hand cut a lot in video editing. Also I would place my seat on a green screen because the joystick is more down than a wheel. Didn't try it yet because I think you won't see much of the effect and it's tons of work. Might give it a try at some point to find out.
Your approaches are consistently too far to the right, and on the wrong course. The Carrier follows a course that is called the Base Recovery Course (BRC). Assume the carrier is headed due North, or 000/360. The flight deck is angled 9 degrees to port, so in our case, your heading needs to be 351. This isn't exact, as the fact that the carrier is moving to the right, relative to your position, will cause you to have to adjust slightly. If the carrier is heading into the wind, which is almost always will be, you'll need to come right a little...maybe 352 or 353. Also, you should be passing over the ramp (the back end of the flight deck, called the "round down") at close to 90 degrees from it, not 30-45 degrees like you were. You see what happens even if you DO catch a wire, if your angle is off so far; you almost went off the port side of the deck. To find BRC, hit F9, and this will give you "ship cam", then go back to your cockpit. It's also available on your instruments, but I won't go into that here. This is a great tutorial on what are known as Case I recoveries, or daylight, good weather: czcams.com/video/lm-M3VUy-_I/video.html Good luck!
Thanks for the Tipps, my approach in general was pretty non professional so not surprised it was wrong :-D. I did some more with a friend and the new super carrier DLC but still quite casual and just 4 fun so I guess there is still much to do better. Upload it on my (German) non sim racing channel czcams.com/video/iwbRrEh4ofg/video.html
So happy to see you flying man!
Glad you enjoy it

Mixed Reality Sim Racing definitely an instant subscribe even though i don’t speak german 😅

Thanks for the info, makes sense

Fortunately in real life aircraft carrier always sail in the direction of wind
What HOTAS are you using ? :)
The Thrustmaster Warthog and Saitek Combat ruder pedals fixed to a modified chair.
@@MixedRealitySimRacing Nice, could you show us that chair, please ?

I haven't found a Touge yeti but a race track I could fly over :-D
Moin, endlich auch mal Flugvideos :D
Wie hast du es hinbekommen, dass das Bild FullHD ist? Über Oculus Mirror oder wie?

Hey, could you do a green screen tutorial for flying DCS and X-Plane please?

You should know the carrier positions itself so landings will be good and they avoid, if all possible, a cross wind landing. Just sayin.
fast
Hey, ich weiß komplett falsches Video, aber ich bin neu in asetto corsa und habe es mir wegen dem free roam gekauft. Aber, wie komme ich denn dahin ?

Is just the vid not center or are you not in the center
Lars Götz it's the right-eye view
