Great idea adding lemon zest. Thanks for that. Will add more flavor, my over night oats are bit bland.

Thank you for the great overnight oats recipes, Shayda! I love overnight oats, although I admit - I was skeptical at first 😀
I have a 'sort of' off topic question, but you did mention pomegranates near the end... This is an honest question -- when eating pom seeds - do we just chew up and swallow that woody little pit in the seed? I really don't know as I'm a pom newbie ~~
    Thanks Shayda!

Lol, yes you can ask me anything especially pomegranate related. I eat the whole aril, seeds and all as it has a lot of fiber.

@@healthycookingwithshayda Thank you Shayda. I've actually asked this question before (not to you though) and I would never get an answer, so I'm glad you answered me. :)

Thanks for recipes and inspiration. Do you typically eat veggies along with your oatmeal or breakfast? Just wondering. I need to lose weight. Ps, you look even slimmer, trimmer and younger snd love your hair. Heathy diet has to help in that reverse aging. aging!

I used one cup of rolled oat and one cup of soy milk, but it turned so dry and not all the rolled oats were moistened? I had only used 1 tsp of ground flax. Then next, I used 1/2 C of oats. Also, one C of oats is too much for the stomach to handle!

I completely understand, this is why this recipe is completely adaptable to your preference. I personally do not care for too much milk. But I'm happy you were able to adapt it to your liking.

That’s a lot of oats for 1 serving. Or does 1jar last you for two days?
