    In the 80's, I bought one in white, with a little bit of rust, for $750, 161cu, opal 4 speed, can't keep them all. I like that one.

    The LJ series was neater and better looking package and in XU-1 form, its performance not as crude as the LC. Still a great job to make this car look as good, if not better than when it was in the showroom in 1970.

    If you can find a 1969 like the one I have it’ll be
    Legendary my mate wants to buy one any condition it doesn’t matter as long as it’s drives I’ll get it down to the old mechanic and get some alterations done

      You are correct it should be ,later lc gtrs did have a 173 but should be CF not CD

      This car is pretty close to mine, also a 4/71 Brisbane built car. Should have the 161S and Opel 4 speed.

      Or engine. It says in the ad it has a 173 and M20, pretty common upgrade back in the day I believe.
