Just got it yesterday. Haven’t started playing it yet but I’ve played the RE2 and RE3 board games.
My 40th is in January, and the original resident evil is the game that really turned me into a gamer, sure I gamed on atari and Nintendo in the late 80s and early 90s, but Playstation, and resident evil, at 12yrs old solidified me as a lifelong gamer, I definitely wanna drop a few feathers about this game to friends and family! Lol
Looks promising to get Rapid. Maybe I'll hold one for safe keeping and other one open to test it.
I think with a small soft tip paint brush and some very small containers of one of either acrylic,enamel or lacquer paints you could add alot more customizable details. As soon as you opened that box to show the pay pieces that was the first thing I thought. Either way that game looks like its fun to play.
This is the first project I’ve backed on kickstarter, got the Alpha and was so worth it! I also have RE3 Board Game, halfway through and it’s also pretty fun
I got mine! My husband contributed to the kickstarter for us. We’ve played the first few scenarios and he’s painted most of the figures. We don’t have Bleak Outpost though.
It’s fun. It was done really well!

The game is very good AND plays like a PC game.
This is one of the board games that would appeal to casual audience (people not really caring for the board games/not liking them since Monopoly flashbacks) and board game fans alike

Yeah I pre ordered this board game and have been loving it. Haven't done the campaign yet but several scenarios. For anyone thay doesn't know the campaign has an average time to beat of 28 hours. Pretty crazy!

Wow there so good I think I'm gonna get 😊 I get what you're saying about the figures and you wish they were painted. there like that so you can paint them but if you not into painting game pieces or know how yeah it's not the best. I don't have a clue myself but have seen people paint them up and they look amazing lucky for me my partner paints small game pieces he's really good. I want to paint them myself so he going show me how 😊 I have resident evil 2 board game with all the expansion packs love them so fun. Not got the nemesis one yet.
are these 28 mm size. Cause this looks awesome for d&d. The bigger size is a no go and this looks like one of the d&d board games like legend of drizzt
Yes, they are. Same scale with the last RE games.
This kinds of board games is a one and done.
No it's not, there's so many scenarios and modes. Not one playthrough are the same. Plus thr expansions bring in many more scenarios.

So if i get the 2 expantion packs, do i just combine the cards with the original game and play it like that or is it its own separate game. I just wanna make sure before i buy anything
They are expansions not stand alone games. You need the base game.
It is a bit complicated.
Yes, you combine all cards together, from all (base + expansion).
Obviously you cannot really play the expansions without the base.
However, adding expansions greatly affects the way that base game is being played. You can to replace certain items in certain levels, as well as modify the card deck quite a bit.
Example: Adding spider expansion to base game will add venomous effect (and cards/enemies with venomous effect), but you can include those card only after a specified level of the base game.
So, when you combine ALL cards you have, instruction booklet will tell you which cards you have to remove from the deck until a certain level.
You really have to read the booklets closely, since base game booklet omits the expansions.

I've always wanted a resident evil board game. I played thr re2 one at a game shop once. Also RapidCrafter I don't want to promote, but I'm a fellow creator I make rap battles and I made Leon Kennedy vs Joel Miller and I think you would love it! Just dropped yesterday.
