she has a resident visa in Germany, so there is no paperwork to travel within the EU or back and forth from and to Vietnam. Only effort is to buy the ticket. It would be an extreme amount of paperwork if her relatives would want to come to Germany though.
Well you did keep your promise. Tickets to Vietnam aren’t cheap so you must be making enough to get by. Also I love the fact that they are not surprised when they see you. You must go back enough times that they don’t have time to miss you. You are such a sweet daughter with a close family. Keep up the good work and please always be happy.

I see the name a lot as the bravest of the brave immigrants head into the rural west and bring economic help and much needed professional services. I know the rural west isn’t always very nice about it either, but a lot of us are cheering! Come colonize us lol…
One time my twin sister had surprised my older sister and I with a visit home after she moved like 14 hours away by car. Made a whole elaborate plan with my dad to disguise the fact she was coming. We both literally burst into tears, we missed her a lot.
Go whenever you can and spend as much as you want.. I came Rwanda in 2020, my earning situation and family situation not right to travel, I wish I can travel atleast once to see my parents , siblings and my place ..

I'm French, from an oversea territory and going to the Mainland in Europe for my studies, it takes a whole day to go 1 way, 2 if i were to go and back, with the astronomical price we have to pay for the planes tickets, my family can't make me go home oustide of summer vacation, so i have to be away from them for 10 month a year, it's my fourth year and finally this summer i'll stay home definitely, it was so hard being away from family 😢 It's wonderful you are able to see your family often!
I imagine that being away has improved your relationship with your family and you can appreciate the time you spend with them more by going back to visit compared to if you live there.

I think its important to remember that you can always make more money later on but time with our family members are limited so make the best of it we can!

Omg same I moved to the capital of my country a thousand miles away from home and I come home without warning every once in a while. Onr of those times when I came home unannounced my mom didn't have her glasses on and she thought it was my sister 😂 It took her forever to figure out what was happening 😂
I moved cross-country and went back every six months or so for several years. I’m gearing up for my first trip back since 2018 and I still have mixed feelings. Love my family, hate the drama!
My family kicked me out at 16. I still waisted all my money visiting them for miserable holidays. Now I have them blocked and im much happier. If you love your family be grateful for that.

I was born, grew up, & lived in Germany. All my family is there and Austria, but now live in Australia, and my husband is in the same boat but from El Salvador. It is very expensive, takes a lot of time and planning and off work for holidays etc. It is a huge undertaking for either of us to visit often at all. But, thank goodness for technology and being able to call, Zoom, email, and social media's in this day and age, which makes it incredibly amazing to keep in contact in real time ❤ Treasure any time you have with family and friends when ever you can while you can ❤❤❤
