Nintendo always seems to fail on just one thing: Showing off the games. Whenever they reveal a new system they only show off the concepts and such. Which is a good thing...and a bad thing. How do we know the whole thing is worth it without knowing that many games. Although I can honestly say this system is very impressive. I am VERY excited for this. Its just the way they execute this that Nintendo should be worried about. I

@PowerToolRaptor101 it's waaay too early for Nintendo to be announcing games for Wii U at this stage. but, guess what, they did. they already confirmed the new smash bros and the new mario game coming to Wii U and if seeing LoZ in HD isn't enough for you, then idk what is

"the controller has a camera and a mic in it for online gaming" the ps3 and 360 have kinect and ps eye for the same purposes i guess what im saying is whats the point? when it comes out it'll cost more than the other 2 so why should anyone feel the need to invest into it?
@holgersson It's because it is aimed for a casual audience, and there are a whole ton of those! They need to go away so we can get quality, not useless crap.
@holgersson Exactly. If I get it, it will be only because of the Legend of Zelda game. I hope they come out with a few hardcore games, like monster hunter, too. These gimmicks are going to kill our industry, just like the movie industry. Until Nintendo stops with them, I'm sticking to my PS3 and PC for real gameplay.
@masterdz522 I want LoZ and all the other great 1st party IPs in HD graphics and a normal controller as much as the next guy but as long as Nintendo makes tons of cash off its "gimmicks" the "hardcore" gamers will just have to swallow their pride. Saying that Nintendo should stop making consoles because that they failed makes as much sense as saying that CCC should stop producing Coca-Cola because 30% of the market prefers Dr. Pepper.
@WOOHOJEHA The console looks interesting but this video just shows alot of gimmicky stuff, apart from maybe the beginning and the zelda bit at the end.
@tomcatobi almost 720 million games sold, twice as many as xbox 360 or the PS3 (even if you discount Wii Sports). I personally think the Wii is a pile of garbage but I just find it ludicrous to suggest that Nintendo has "FAILED" with the Wii, at least from a business standpoint.

Ah the controller looks great, I thouged it was kinda the size of the iPad from seeing pictures of it. This size works.
