Project 7.3 EXCURSION Gets New BUILT Transmission! (4R100 Transmission Removal + Install)

In this video I show the process of removing and installing a 4R100 automatic transmission from my 2000 Ford Excursion with the 7.3 Powerstroke turbo diesel. I replace my old stock transmission with a rebuilt 4r100 rated for 450hp and a rebuilt torque converter. I also explain how to fill a new transmission with atf! Thank you for watching!

Art Carr builds a 4R100 trans built to handle 1000hp. I have one for a small block and have no issues. Having a 4 speed that handles a mild small block550hp is worth every penny in Calif with all the freeways.. Their shop is in Huntington Beach, CA. California Performance Transmission
