Ulatn Woods, Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it.
Mark, Great video and right on point!
Thank you for the positive feedback!
Nice video Mike. So much useful information about LWR.
Thanks! I appreciate it and hope you are doing well.
Great information, thank you. Do you have similar videos on Venice FL?
Hi Tye, Thanks for the compliment. I don't get as far south as Venice, but if you decide to visit that area, I do work with an agent from our company there.
Getting more affordable every day!
Average Price per sq ft. in Lakewood Ranch. Aug 2021=$273, July 2022=$332, Aug 2022=$334
Great video I'm thinking of moving to Lakewood Ranch and have done research. First thing I think people should know that living in Lakewood Ranch will cost you from 5K to 10K a year this is the costs of HOA and CDD. This can make or break someone. I have a question about the social membership at Lakewood Ranch Country club. What do you get for the initiation fee and monthly dues? You said you are in Manatee county. So what community in Lakewood Ranch you live in? Taxes are cheaper in Manatee county than Sarasota county. Thanks.
Hi Peter, Thanks for the comments. First off, yes you are correct about the fees. The CDD fee is included in the annual real estate taxes at the end of the year. The HOA dues are usually paid quarterly to the Association that manages the community. The dues to LWR CC are different depending on the Membership level. You can see the fees here: markitsoldfl.lpages.co/lwr-cc/
Now the taxes are about even in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Living in Lakewood Ranch Florida Thank you
@@Peter-ok9bj hey, do you think that an annual income of about 80k is enough to live in a 3br home in Lakeland ranch? If not what’s your estimate, to live comfortably?
@@KKMDStyle It all depends on your MORTAGE and other expenses. If you don't have a MORTAGE you can live very comfortably I believe it all depends on your debts and living style like any other place.
@@Peter-ok9bj I guess you are right. I guess the idea of moving to another state scares me more than I thought... Not knowing much about the Florida economy, is causing a bit of anxiety about moving in retirement :-)
Just found your channel. I am an "Atlanta Boy" originally, currently living in Evans, GA. My wife and I are really thinking about Sarasota/Bradenton after our visit last year for the Pirates Spring Training games. I'm seeing that Florida living is going to be expensive. Glad we have our Costco membership current. Thanks for the information.
Hi Rip! Thanks for reaching out! When you make it back let me know and I’ll see if I have any spring training tickets. And keep the Costco card😀
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch We have a blissful life, except when the Pirates are playing my Atlanta Braves (soon to be Hammers - yuck !) I married a Yankee. Will do. We caught the last game of Spring Training, before the COVID shutdown. It was "Old Folks Day" at the stadium. Stress Balls, discussion about my joint replacement needs, and Sunscreen. It was actually a lot of fun.
@@ripjones5294 Hammers??? I hope you are joking, is that in honor of HA?
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Wish I was, joking that is. Nope, in the "Blue Zone" of political correctness, the name will be changing to the Hammers, in honor of Hammerin' Hank. A most amazing guy, and I will ultimately learn to live with the name change. I'm sure I will slip up, from time to time, but I can feign old age. I'll keep you in the loop, when we head that way again. I'm subscribing, so I can stay in your loop.
Great information, thanks. Next time please use a less distracting background! I just subscribed.
Next time I’ll shoot in the offices :)
I liked the background!
Do you know if Del Webb have a full time director in the club?
Yes, I believe they do
I’d like to know the average salaries needed to live comfortably in Lakewood ranch (assuming a 3 bd, 3 bath house).
Hi Michael, according to the Lakewood Ranch business alliance, the average household income is $123k. Depending on debt to income ratio, I would think that would be plenty for that size home.
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch thanks, that’s what I was wondering. Very helpful info.
How big is the house that you’re in in the video?
Hi Elaine, the house that this video was filmed at is 3100 sq ft.
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch thank you! That gives us a good idea of what costs will be. Very helpful video!
@@escape183 Glad it was helpful, let me know if you need any help or have other questions about any community in the area.
Is this the same as Lakewood Ranch Subdivision in Eustis?
Hi Olivia, no this is the Town of Lakewood Ranch near Sarasota on the west coast of FL.
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Thank you.
Thank you
How much is it just for access to the gym?
Hi Jonathan, The initiation is $2500, then 174/ month for Lakewood Ranch Country Club
@@LivinginLakewoodRanch Could you give us a tour? Id like to see what you get for that price. It's pretty steep sign on price for a gym. Monthly seems reasonable assuming its for a family membership.
Great video. Gosh, I wish gas was $2.09! Those were the days. We have Joe Biden to thank for high gas prices and the loss of our energy independence.
I wish it was also!
