I was a dancer for this club in Atlanta for a few years. Yes you would be surprised! it happens all the time. It would catch me off guard every time. Lol
as someone from the Portland metro, I often find that people assume that Oregon is entirely liberal. We have a high conservative population that is very vocal. We also have a lot of gays(I'm one of them)
people also think it’s a land of political extremes and in daily life, it’s just like any other city. People ham it up a lot. It’s really just a regular place with regular people.

As someone who’s lived their entire life in Oregon, I can full heartedly say Portland is the worst city we have. Oregon has a lot of beautiful sights, in fact we’re one of the only states that have every land form. (Volcanoes, geysers, waterfalls, beaches, caves, deserts, etc.) I hope you had the chance to explore the wonders of Oregon! And either way you should consider coming back, it’s really such a beautiful state.
