I don't care how easily you may be able to pay that off, that's a lot of money to pay to get someone else out of debt.
I'm glad you mentioned they reconciled later in life. After Edward passed away, he was buried in a burial ground that only interred Episcopalians. Hetty was a lifelong Quaker. So she converted and became an Episcopalian just so that she could be buried next him.
Well, you do take vows that say, "For better or for worse..."
I know it's almost unheard of today, but some people actually used to take them seriously.

Great video and we're distantly related to the Vanderbilts but we're their trailer park and govt cheese relatives we might be broke as a joke but it's something my mom and I can laugh about..I'd rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable 😂
