After a long week of work, we have finally made it to championship day. An opportunity to fish on championship day is very special, especially when you are talking about the caliber of anglers we have on this tour. I have put in the work and it is time to cash in. All week I have been sticking to what I found in practice and finding new areas when I had the chance. So, it is time to hammer down and get it done!

I was just talking about this subject with my wife about how when your young and you see the pros doing what you love (for me it was baseball) and how you put so much work dreaming about competing against them and then one day you do (I never got the chance do to an injury ) but that feeling of competing amongst them and beating them must feel absolutely incredible. Congrats brother alot of hard work paid off.

I watched every minute of video that you posted on this tournament. Congratulations!! well deserved victory. I’m just surprised more of the other fisherman didn’t key in on Smalleys especially with Cayuga being one of the finger lakes. New York has always been a great fishery for smallmouth bass. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen one guy catch that many 4+ pound small jaw bass in that short of time!
