- Day 2 here at Watts Bar and I am so close to winning my round that I have to go for it. I am going to go right back to the dam where I caught them on day one and hope they are enough willing to bite to make it happen. We will be starting the day off with a weather delay and I get yelled at by a lady for filming in a gas station.

I live right on the line of EST and CST. My phone will read both times depending on what part of my yard I’m in. I hate living like this because I work in EST which means I have to get up an hour earlier, drive and hour and get there just in time for the meeting. Best part is I leave work at 4:00 and get home at 4:00.

DUUUUUUUUUDE!!!!! They even said it on LIVE during championship day. They said "DC gonna be mad knowing that Salzman is by the dam catching them". Also, the daylight savings time thing, if your losing an hour when you get there, even if you get as much sleep as them, your body is not use to waking up that early. So, I do believe it would affect someone to some extent.

You mentioned that the fish don’t like lightning and I know how well electricity and sound travels through water. I’ve noticed that over the years fishing graphs,forward facing sonar has become more powerful and advanced and I believe that it has made catching fish harder over the years. Lots of boats running around,large tournaments every weekend,catch and release has conditioned the fish to be harder to catch. I have no way of proving my theory but your comment on the lightening makes it tougher to catch fish connected the dots in some ways. Keep up the great job on your videos and we are pulling for you brother!
The fishing pressure itself has become much heavier but it’s a 100% fact that LiveScope etc are a huge fish catching tool ESPECIALLY when the bite is tough from barometric pressure, blue bird Skys etc. I’ve caught sooo many fish when those around me couldn’t simply due to my electronics. Now, do I think pro’s should be able to use them? NO, and do I think they are good for fishings future? HELL NO!
@@scottfrost8956 are you sure it has become much heavier? because the places that I fish at and have fished at over the years have fewer and fewer people every year it seems like the last generation and current one both dont fish as much as previous times
@@Aldarion65 The main reason these generations are fishing less is the same reason people are racing less. 80k dollars for a boat you use seasonally to fish.. in this economy not happening, and sure one could argue bank fishing and sure. We're at the point they have created a professional kayak series just because of the cost.

I originally came from a place where it is approximately 11 hours difference from California, and for a month approximately it was hard to adjust to the hours, because day was night and night was day lol 😂
I would get sleep at night same amount, but I was still tired and my brain still needed time to adjust.
So definitely makes sense both ways 😁🎣👍

My buddy has a house on Lake Eufala on the GA side. Where it is eastern. Right across the lake in AL it is central time. Want to talk about never knowing what time it is. It is so confusing down there.

In Friendship Indiana the Eastern timeline passes along a ridge to the east of town ( the town is located at the bottom of the Laughery Valley 12 river miles from the Ohio River) and the Central timeline passes along another ridge on the west side of the valley, and creek of the same name, that puts the valley in what's referred to locally as " dead time" a half hour later than eastern time, and a half hour earlier than central time! You want to talk confusing!

DC, in route to a derby, wife and I stopped at Walmart. I ran in and wife stayed with the rig. When I came back out the wife tells me this employee went all karen on her for the boat being parked where it was.
