It's more dependent on whether someone perceives themselves as attractive. If you can rely on looks you feel less pressure to develop a personality

He keeps commenting on his weight, but he actually looks good. And he is super talented. I laughed so much. Also love that instead making jokes about woman being “bitchy” like a lot of comedians, 90 percent of this was him talking about how he loves his wife

I just saw a stand-up video (on this channel i think) of a guy whose jokes were basically just him complaining about his wife. I left cause it just felt like he had an unhealthy relationship and it made me uncomfortable... This is 100% more funny and refreshing. Like John Mulaney’s “I love my wife” stuff

I love when comedy is not cringy, where you basically feel embarassed for the comdian trying too hard. I find, that the audience always wants the comedian to own the stage & enjoy themselves, and when they clearly got the boat sailing, that's when you as a listener can just truly relax into the ride.

It's nice to benefit from the intelligence of another person that puts up with you for some reason, but it's at the expense of being reminded how dumb you are. It's a double-edged sword unfortunately. The smart person in a relationship permanently has the upper hand.

That Space Needle thing slays me. I used to have a friend who worked at the Canada-USA border, and he used to bring back stories like this on a daily basis. People are hilarious.
That last joke reminded me of Guy de Maupassant, who hated the Eiffel Tower so much he ate lunch at the restaurant there, every day. His reason - because it's the only place in the city where he could sit and not see the tower.

Drew nailed everything all the way through. He pointed out true facts that are interesting and make you think, and then had the right punchline for them all. Plus, he wasn't mean or nasty about anything, which is amazing. Great job!!
The only thing that I found weird was the peeing thing. There are people who actually use those little dickholes in the underpants!? 😂😂 It's so uncomfortable and might get a pee stain when shaking. The best is to pull down your undies a bit with your thumb and whip it out. That's how I've always done it and assumed that's how everyone does it.

Everybody relates to self depreciating humor about one's own body. Not many people relate to the top 20% most attractive people, which I think he easily falls under.
I'm really book smart and my boyfriend isn't, but he's way more handy than I am. I'm super clumsy, but he can fix anything around the house. I believe intelligence isn't just about being good at math or learning things off by heart. There are different types of intelligence, and in my relationship we're both smart in different areas. Same. I learn a lot from my boyfriend. Practically know how to build a house at this point (he's a contractor/mechanic). The only issue is that he doesn't learn as much from me as I do from him. He'll read huge car manuals and building plans that are thicker than some textbooks I own, but if I hand him a book - and it's usually a book on something that we're both interested in, or a fiction novel that we've seen the cancelled television show or movie of - and it's over 250 pages, he looks at me with fear in his eyes.

Hilarious... and not a single obscenity was needed... really refreshing for a change.
I watch these for the wit. While blue humour has its place, it's not needed most of the time if you're naturally funny and know how to properly use inflection with great timing.
Although, there are some jokes where he could have conveyed a slightly different story, or added something different if he did. Like when in an argument with his wife after she lists all the facts as to why she is right, after "wuh" he could could have said, "It was at this moment, I knew, I was fucked."

I have to say this, for those that do not know it exists .... the Dry Bar app is the best thing I have ever added to my phone. Listening to comedy on my drive to and from work is not only better than any radio station but awesome therapy hahaha and I do not work for Dry Bar, just extremely appreciative of the joy they and their stand-ups have brought me

I work from home and frequently rearrange everything in the kitchen. Love listening to my wife trying to silently open drawer after drawer in stead of asking where the spoons are. I have seen the woman spread butter on toast using the handle of a fork.
