  • Africa's cleanest and safest country blew my expectations out of the water!
There's nothing better than having your expectations blown away by a city, especially when its media coverage hasn't always been great. From what I saw and experienced, there's a lot more the country has to offer. It shows what a country can do over time and with the right leadership. It's no wonder The NBA's BAL (Basketball Africa League) chose to launch its billion-dollar league in Rwanda. Rwanda is home to a booming infrastructure a rapidly growing city, a fantastic culture, and one of the lowest corruption indexes in the world. On top of all of this, It has stunning landscapes and beautiful nature that'll blow your mind.

Rwanda is a great country to tour: good roads and easy to find your way around. Professional standards are high in the capital and tourist areas and it's an easy country to do business in. It's also deeply traditional. In the villages, few people speak English but that's part of the country's charm. It has maintained it's authentic character.

Look how Ukraine are about the attack.
Then you’ll tweet black lives matter or in support of Ukraine and ignore your country.
African are used to destroy Africa
Look at what Kagame is doing in Congo in order to develop his country, 5M dead to date due to this war.

@Warrior of Truth Absolutely true, Europeans even look different depending upon the region. Same is true with Africa - different cultures, different languages, different lifestyles depending upon the geography. Visit Ukraine right now and tell me that would be the same experience as visiting England, LOL. That's what visiting Chad would be like compared to most of the continent.
I'm actually a white American but have been interested in Africa since I was a little kid (i'm 50 now). I read everything I could about it, learned the capitol cities, etc at a young age. Just always interested in it. I think the biggest problem is that in the time I was born A lot of Africa was in upheaval in the post-colonial period. Dictators, war, poverty, etc. A lot of those stereotypes and images lingered. Africa was caught as a proxy in the battle against communism and east/west. I don't think a lot of Americans really understand that. But that's not really the case anymore. You should see the wide-eyed looks I get whenever I tell people i'm heading to Africa by myself, LOL.
