- r/Entitledparents In today's episode, OP discovers that his own mother secretly stole the dog that he had as a child, and then sold it to a man in the next town over. Later in life, OP happens to cross paths with the man, who graciously gives the dog back to OP after OP proves that he owned the dog. OP's mother was shocked when she realized that her crime had been discovered!

I'm happy the man was willing to give the dog back to their original owner and that he ended up getting help finding a new dog for him. What a kind soul.
Kindness repays kindness I suppose. I do hope the man is on "visiting terms" though. Welcome to visit every once in a while by OP
@@shinymainespoon Well, it did say Op kept in touch with him so Iâd assume so.
People like that is rare
That was exactly what I was thinking! Itâs admirable
I know right? I thought he stole the doggo but no, he bought it from OP's mom. That's a M. Night Shyamalan worthy twist.
A stranger stealing a dog from a child is one thing. But the childâs own MOTHER?! That is truly despicable.
Especially cause the Mother lied about it to the Child and her Husband and told them both someone stole it when in fact it was the Mother all along.
I mean its kinda a regular occurance of poor families in croatia, but this famili was not that poor
My mom use to abandoned my pet dogs when I was kid because she hated taking of them and usually my dad got them behind her back, also she just hated dogs. Like I did help as a kid but she hated how the clean wouldnât be clean like she wanted so she just grabbed the dog and abandoned them somewhere else like a park and drive home and tell me they run away when I get home from school.
And she did this like 3 times and just recently told me, and she said even one of the dogs chased after the car crying making feel a little guilty but she wasnât in a good mindset back then since she was depressed to the point of trying to commit suicide. I always thought it was my fault and I get really sad, so for many years we didnât have a dog until my mom got me one in high school and when she got better mentally over the years she felt really bad and guilty for her actions so she started helping her friend whoâs a responsible breeder taking care of dogs and got me the tiniest one in the litter and personally help it grow strong. Like now my mom still doesnât like pets because of the mess they make but she still takes care of them since she know how pets have emotions too.
Like she cared all she cared about was both getting money for herself and taking the dog away
This might be the first time in history that an HOA has actually been a force for good, albeit indirectly.
No there's another story in malicious compliance or petty revenge... Can't remember. Where someone uses the HOA group message to get everyone to rally and make the light on their street longer by pressing the crosswalk button
@@amberwriker5237 So the second time, then? Yeaaah still not a lot
@@AOGood no, but at least there is one other. A drop of hope?
Actually no, according to OP in the updates the HOA did nothing other then log the complaints which only gave op a time stamp to prove what happened. The HOA has been getting lots of complaints about the truck but hasnât really done anything. They may have given the ND a warning about the truck that caused all of this.

When I heard that he said that it was a F350 I was like HOLY SHIT.
Update to the last story (I'm not OP btw):
Update: OMG, this thing blew up and I'm just amazed. Thank you everyone for your comments and awards. I had posted this because I was second guessing myself and thought maybe I had let my sickness and anger outweigh my judgement but your comments have made me feel more secure with the decision I made. I have so many comments that I can't respond to everyone so I wanted to address a few repeating comments that I saw:
#1. This is a real story and if you don't believe it, then that's on you.
#2. Yes, I live in a quiet neighborhood and my specific road is busy. There are 12 houses on my street. Busy road doesn't mean noisy. I guess I caused confusion when I said I was at the end of the the Cul-de-sac. I'm the last house right before the cul-de-sac starts, so I consider myself at the end. Cul-de-sac doesn't mean no traffic, I still have neighbors and guests drive by and the cul-de-sac is used as a place to turn around. As I previously stated, I'm the only one on with a single car. This is a family neighborhood and there are lots of cars that drive in our area and on our street. They are residents and guests.
#3. Cameras. I don't have any cameras and I will have to save up to get some and based on the comments I will make that a priority. I have to budget to get extra stuff. My neighbor across the street have cameras and I'm almost certain the front of my house is covered by them. There is no way they can cover the front of their property without getting the street and my front yard covered. This doesn't bother me and when I'm feeling better, I will go ask them about the coverage.
#4. I did take a look at my HOA paperwork and it does mention that street parking is acceptable but only if it doesn't impede traffic. I'm assuming that since some of the neighbors made a complaint about the truck, that the HOA must have said something to him which is why he was trying to use my driveway. This is purely an assumption.
#5. For those telling me I should have damaged the truck in some way - I just can't do that. Was it wrong for them to park on my property - yes, but that doesn't mean I have to be like them. I'm satisfied with just towing the truck and the report I filed. If things don't escalate then I will call it a win. If they do, then I will certainly respond. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not a push-over. I will not start anything or escalate anything unnecessarily - but if they escalate I will stand my ground.
#6. Yes, myself and my oldest are still sick but getting better every day. My youngest was able to return to school this morning.
Thank you all again for your support and I will certainly update you when I know anything else.
Update 2: So I know a lot of you have been wanting an update, but I wanted to wait until I got a copy of the police report before I did, which I got this afternoon. Sadly, it didn't go anywhere. I was kind of hoping that he would have a false report charged against him, but the report states that NS told ND that he parked it in the street in front of my house and that is why ND called the police. The NP had questioned both of them after he spoke to me and that is when NS said he had lied to his dad and had actually parked in my driveway. I guess they don't believe he did it intentionally, so no charges were filed and the report was closed. I don't believe it but that's how it goes. The trespassing report I filed has not been closed yet. I was told that if he is convicted that it is just a misdemeanor and he would have to pay a fine, maybe 10 days of jail, and/or community service. Also, it would be the son who would be listed as the trespasser and since he is a minor, I'm not sure where that will go. But, I discovered that if he is convicted then I could use that to have a protective order done. Will have to follow up later on the trespassing.
So, I am getting a lot of messages asking about the truck and if there has been any retaliation. Yes, the neighbors got the truck back and no, I don't know how much it cost them to do so, and yes he is still parking in the street but he is parking it further down next to the entrance of the road. As far as I can tell, they haven't done anything to my property and they haven't said anything to me since that day; although, I have gotten some pretty nasty glares and looks from them when I see anyone from their family.
I was amazed by how many offers I received from all of you to help me get some cameras. This has touched me greatly. I would like to say thank you for the offers, but I am okay. I was able to talk to several of my neighbors and I found out that my neighbors that are 3 houses from me may have been the reason that he asked to use my property. I discovered that the man who lives in that house tried to leave for work one morning (he leaves at like 4 AM) and he couldn't get around NS truck. So he bangs on ND's door until ND finally got up and went out and moved his son's vehicle. I don't know the details of the conversation but I know there were angry words and a veiled threat if NS truck kept being a problem. Other neighbors confirmed they had made complaints to HOA, but HOA wasn't really helping. Apparently, some other people on the block have had other issues besides the truck since he has moved in and so this family isn't well liked before this whole issue. Word has spread about what happened and now there is a "watch" going on. I have told everyone that I would just like for things to die down and have asked that no one instigate or does anything on my behalf.
I told a couple of my neighbors about this post and one of them has a reddit account, so she said she was going to follow the post. And no, I'm not going to post a photo or video because I don't want to risk starting anything. If there is a chance that I can go back to my peaceful existence then that is what I want to do. If you need that information to prove this story is true then you are free to not believe it.
Also, I wasn't clear when I was talking about emailing my HOA. My HOA didn't do anything but log the complaints I was making and tell me that my property is mine and that they can't do anything about what they consider a "civil" matter. The reason my emails to the HOA were so important was because they contained date/time of the the information and that matched what I had told the officer. My HOA really isn't very good.
In addition, some of my neighbors have cameras. I spoke to the lady across the street and her cameras weren't very helpful. They are at an angle and zoomed in on a bird bath in her yard (I guess she likes to watch them) and wasn't meant for security. However, the neighbor beside her went out and adjusted his cameras (he has a lot of them) and was able to cover most of my front yard and part of the side that faces him without sacrificing coverage of his property. It doesn't get my whole yard but he was able to get the driveway. So anything going forward should be caught. I still plan to save up for some of my own, but now it isn't such a big priority. And the retired man down the street knocked on my door yesterday and gave me his phone number. Told me if I got a visit from anyone from that house again to call him and he would come take care of it. and that he would make sure to keep an eye out. So I am feeling very blessed to have these neighbors.
I again want to thank everyone for their support and I don't really have much else to update except for when the trespassing report plays out, which I don't know how long that will take, but I will certainly update once I do. I wish you all the best of everything and again - thank you!
I have seen enough I'm satisfied
Cheers :) saves me searching on reddit for this story

Sometimes you gotta play Garbage Man and get rid of the junk
I was thinking they should split custody so atleast the other person can still be an owner to the dog lol
there's also the aspect of "can you steal a dog from a 10 year old" or is it the parents responsibility to find the best possible home for the dog? And is a 10 year old aware of any financial difficulties or other reasons that the parents may have needed to rehome the dog at the time...
"your dog has gone missing" is a standard reason for death, or any other reason a pet needs to give a new home, and a 10 year old rarely knows the full story
@@samjo27 while that is true, in most cases a parent will communicate that to a child to help them understand why they can't keep a beloved pet. But that's not what happened. @@stormwright8300 she probably got rid of him as some sort of cruel punishment for OP. That's what narcisstic parents do... they take away the things you love most
The Doggo Story in itself would be very bad, but it's made infinitely worse when one considers that OP's dog wasn't stolen by some stranger... it was sold out by his own mother. The word "Betrayal" doesn't even begin to described how fuck up it was.
Exactly what I was thinking. That mother has to be a level 100 narcissist to do that to her own child.
Sadly. some parents still think of their offspring's personal posessions and/or pets as their own, to do with as they wish, and assume that their children aren't emotionally attatched to them. Their logic is "oh, I think my child has already outgrown this item, and I paid for it in the first place so I might as well get rid of it."

Yea...the dog was "stolen"...from a young child...by the mom. I'm sorry, but please make this make sense. Seems to me there's a lot more to the story that OP doesn't even know about, like dad brought the dog home randomly one day with a "surprise! Something ELSE for you to take care of!" Just saying...a lot of assumption going on without any info except a kid "lost" his dog when he was younger, and held a grudge as an adult when he learned the truth. I wonder how young he was, but there's a good chance mom was the one actually caring for a dog she obviously didn't want.
the 1st story Op should bring his dog every weekend to the guy's house

I have a dog that walked up to our doorstep one day looking for a home. We tried to find the owner but couldnât figure out who she previously belonged to so we kept her. (The vet said sheâd probably been living on her own for at least 6 months.) Itâs been 2 years since then and at this point Iâm not sure if I could give the dog up like the man did in the post. I just love her too much.
I know how you feel, Iâve been taking care of a feral cat for a few months now & love him to pieces (heâs currently cuddling with me on the couch), last week an older man (maybe 70s) walked down the street & claimed last winter he did the same for the cat & said he was glad he found a home however I kept getting weird vibes cause he was very rough with the cat handling wise & offered to take him to a vet & even tho Iâd love that cause Iâm a bit strapped for cash I donât know this guy or his intentions, also the way the cat acted towards him was like he didnât know him (cat was with ears back & kinda aggressive which Iâve only seen him act towards threats like other feral cats) he claims the cat is older than I think & that heâs fixed even though he very clearly isnât so tbh I think maybe thereâs another similar cat he took care of & itâs not the same one because recently I found out we have a lot of them around here, when I started caring for the cat more & more started to pop up, however heâs the only one that made friends with me, the rest run off, hence why I opened my home to him because I knew it wouldnât stress him out & he seemed to pick me as stupid as it sounds, he used to only come for a meal outside but now he spends almost all day every day on my property (in & out of the house) so I assumed âhuh guess he decided he lives here nowâ & just let him stay lol I recently lost my oldest dog & im a huge animal person so it was a welcome addition in my eyes. If that man wouldâve wanted to take him it wouldâve crushed me, however I think he saw how happy the cat was here & realized if it is the same cat that Iâm just doing exactly what he did & that the cat didnât chose to stay with him but found me 6months ago & has stayed since.
Yeah, that first one is hard. If I haven't had the dog for awhile I may be able to give him/her back to the original owner, but if I had the dog for a year or more, I dunno. I don't think I could do it. I'd feel like I was losing a child if that happened.
I always worry that the 1st story will happen to me someday. My dog is a rescue that my mom brought home because she overheard a guy at a party talking about how his wife up and left him one day and he hated being stuck with her stupid dog. He said he was going to take it out back and shoot it if he was stuck with it any longer. So my mom spoke up and she ended up coming home that night with this.... skin and bones, terrified chihuahua. This dog was wearing a metal choke collar and was very clearly having an allergic reaction to it (she was missing a bunch of fur on her neck and the skin was red and swollen). Her ears were all scabbed up for some reason and she looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks. The poor thing was scared of everything: shoes, pop cans, brooms, raised voices, you name it. She also gets incredibly nervous around men, especially if they have a large amount of facial hair and likes to go into full tiny dog attack mode if someone is standing while I am sitting. I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised in the original owner left her husband due to domestic abuse. I do always worry that the wife is looking for her dog though and I wouldn't know what to do if she ever came along asking for my dog back. I've spent the last 8 years with this pupper and it would break my heart to be put in that situation.
My coworker had a sister who she visited once and found a gross green glass bowl. She was like "what's that?" "Oh its my fish" o-o Apparently the sister had a history of abusing pets. My friend discreetly scooped the abused fish into her waterbottle and took it home. She said she didn't even notice it gone and the green bowl is still sitting on the counter. Apparently it lived tho, happily in a clean bowl with her child.

I think the fact Bongo was so delighted to see his original owner actually was the tipping point. I think if Bongo hadn't been as bonded to the original owner, he'd belong with the new owner. Part of me wants to believe she meant some kind of urgent care center rather than an actual hospital, but I can't tell. Or maybe it was an actual hospital and OP is either loaded, had good insurance or both. Either way, that sounded _absurd_ to me when I heard it đ”
Entitled person: steals a dog from a child
John Wick: alright, I guess this is the night bitches die
Nice
I'm crying about the man in the first story
*Took care of the dog for 5 years*
one day while walking the dog he has a chance encounter with the original owner of the dog. He hears them out and was probably heartbroken giving the dogs back. I'm happy for op though.
;-;
It depends...
After all, he understood the situation and returned the dog willingly. He probably was sad about loosing a dog, but was happy to give someone more joy than they'll probably ever have in their live.
Mom: *sells dog* oh the dog is missing. Here's 3 HotWheels car
OP: *founds the dog 5 years ago*
Mom: *panik*
Seriously? Why did OP's mom sell the dog?
Either jealously, hates dogs or just wants to watch the world burn.
Edit: Op did say the dog has one eye. Possible reason is the dog in her eyes is 'eww ugly dog, must sell it way'.
@@ajaxrao6042 all 3 i guess
@@gerrard1144 My guess is all 3
Money I suspect. When she went to get the OP the Hotwheels, she was buying a lot of stuff for herself. sm
Shes a really terrible person, its one thing to sell the dog for whatever reason, I'll grant it was a benevolent reason, because it doesn't matter. The fact that she lied to her kid and put him in a state of imagining that dog being lost and alone, eaten by wolves, all kinds of horrible scenarios... She CHOSE to let her kid think that instead of assuring the child that the dog was in a new home and being well cared for.
When I am hoping to hear that magical sentence, "Then OP posted an update." And it doesn't happen, I feel an emptiness inside and to be honest, it ruins my day lol
If my parents sold my cat I would be devastated I hate that the mom gave the dog away and to make him feel better only got a couple of hot wheels
Looks like she spent most of the money on clothes for herself. That's even more vile.
@@SentaiYamaneko wanna bet where that money came from? That's the most vile part
I canât even imagine how angry and upset Iâd be if someone stole my kitty and our dog. Especially my kitty - we are a bonded pair. đ
Literally had a john wick moment during that dog story. five years? Bruh..
Story 1: thats not a mother, that's a monster. She sold her child's dog for a quick buck, lied to a innocent man and her child, and then spent the money on herself. Literally watched her child be miserable for an entire week, then decided to buy him a cheap ass hotwheels on sale while slurping on herself. Glad he got the dog back, but the dad better leave the liar, trust was destroyed. And the poor guy, he had to give back the dog he bonded with and loved. At least he got another dog to love, and I hope Bongo can visit.
The second story is basically petty revenge and entitled parents combined.
I hope that everyone is having a good Tuesday!
Thanks I hope you are too :D
i hope you are too
Hope all the Australians have a lovely Wednesday
Thanks man
Thank you đ you as well!
Thereâs a update to the last story. When the NP went over and talk to the neighbors the NS admitted he lied to his dad about where he parked. So no that report was dropped but opâs trespassing against the son is still on going, if successful op said the most the son would get is 10 days in jail or community service. Op went to their other neighbors and ND is disliked by the whole neighborhood, The neighborhood literally started a âwatchâ. One of OPâs neighbors moved some of their cameras to help watch opâs yard/ driveway upon request from op and another neighbor gave op their phone number so if NDâs family does anything he will help op. Op also found out that before ND asked to use her driveway that one neighbor who goes to work at like 4 AM could not get out of their driveway because NS has parked way to close to his driveway so he went and kept knocking on the NDâs door until ND finally came out and moved the truck and that a lot of people in the neighborhood have been complaining to the HOA. Op believes that the HOA probably gave ND a warning that there would be consequences if they kept getting complaints which then caused everything that happened. But other than that the HOA has not done much. Oh op is also saving to get their own cameras but is not to worried due to neighbor whose cameras is watching their house.
My mother murdered my kitten / only friend when I was 3 -- messed me up for life.
You were 3?! No matter what intellectual recovery you make the emotions of a 3 year old will always be a part of it. That is awful, multiplied many times because it was your mother. So, so sorry.
I'm so sorry to hear that.
That's terrible!

First story made me cry a bit. When I was about 20, I took a long weekend off of work. I got home and my Homer boy wasn't home anymore. I just KNEW my roommate sold him because he never liked him.
I posted fliers for 2 months before we had to move.
It's been 8 years and I still don't forgive him because now I know he would be too old to be alive.
Homer was the only thing helping me get up in the morning because he was like my brother.
I would've accepted "he ran away" but all I got was "I don't know where he is".
I trusted that man and I should've taken my pupper with me.
With the dog story, I'm so glad the man was so nice about it and that the kid had kept in contact with him. The mother is probably like "whyyy won't my son speak to me?"
The last story is an example to use the HOA for good not evil. I'm with op. I mean, it's not fair for that family to use her driveway just because they have an extra car. Plus they should know better
I have a job interview today. This is a great way to start my day off with!

For the truck story, at least they asked first. Itâs rare to hear cases where they do
She edited in her post, that she wont be posting photos or videos, she just wants to resume to a more peaceful life .... sad, I wanted to see that raging Dad. Oh and also the false report charge was dropped, because the son "lied" to his dad about parking on the street, so the dad told his kids lie to the police. and the trespassing charge is also not going far, because the kid is still a teenager. unfortunately very unsatisfiying....
The weird thing is, if the idiot lied to his dad about it, why would he come to OPs house to claim it?
Ignoring the fact that giving the kid a car in the first place and especially a truck, what is he going to be working on that demands a truck, finding out the kid lied about where he parked it would make me as a dad apologize for days and ground the kid for at least that amount of time.
I hope OP in the second story post a update
1st story: someone needs to turn this into a movie
The man in the first story is a really kind person. If there were more people like him the world would be a better place.
Can I just say the man from the first one is an absolute angel. The fact that he was willing to give the dog back was just so sweet
Disney Villain evil is the perfect way to describe that
Driveway story: Leaving aside the entitlement, what kind of moron buys a 16 year old an F350 as their first vehicle? The insurance must be a nightmare.
Lmao i know right? Wtf even is a 16yo doing with that as his learning vehicle? What a waste of money and fuel just to go around in city, not to mention they bought it knowing they had no space to keep it without obstructing others. Caused annoyance to themselves and others. Lack of any foresight in that family...
Someone who wants to keep their child safe from the other jackasses on the road lol. My first truck was an 1989 F350, and I still drive it to this day.
I literally cried with that first story. That's just so evil of the mom to do.
I had someone "jokingly" ask me for my dog back about ten years ago and I still get anxious when I see them. I was on my way to class, waiting for the bus when I saw a guy open the door, put the tiniest little dog outside, go back inside and close the door. Mind you, I live by a very busy road and it was around 6 pm so it was busier. I just sat there, watching the puppy. I missed the bus, and my class, just watching and waiting for the guy to come back and get the pup. After a while, the dog was scared and curled up into a corner, so I went there, picked it up and knocked on the door. I knew he was inside, I had been watching and his lights were on. I knocked, called him, nothing. I brought the pup home with me, my mom was MAD xD but I didn't care, I couldn't just leave her. Next day I went back. It's a bike shop, so I entered, talked to everyone, the owner, his brother and his son (the guy from the night before) and they all said they couldn't keep her, she was too small, too young and that I could keep her. I was already falling for the baby so I was so happy! I took care of her, she was a little over one quilo and about two months old, she had a worms and all kinds of bugs you can imagine, I got her neutered, she grew up happy and healthy... She was my everything and so beautiful. One day I was walking her when one of the guys from the bike shop came to me and said "My kid really misses the dog you know? He asks me 'where's my puppy?' haha! Maybe I should take it from you now that it's all grown and strong. Haha!" I thought he was joking, but it terrified me. He couldn't take my pup away. She was trained, completely used to living in an apartment, but above all, so sweet and loving, how would I give her up to be an outside dog? He said he was joking and that he wouldn't take her from me, but for the rest of that sweet dogs life I feared they were going to ask her back.
Its spelled kilo
Thatâs just disgusting
Thinking of my parents selling my dog makes me want to throw up and cry and hold my dog more the I do. I wouldâve beaten this actual hell out of my mother. You have every single right to hate your mother. Iâm so sorry this happened to you kid. So glad the owner was lovely and understood I cried when I seen you got your buddy back :,)
First story: Wow, and the fact that OP's mother stole her dog for money and instead of helping OP look for the dog, she took her out to the shops to cheer him up when it's really an excuse for her for go clothes shopping. That's already a big flag, I mean, if one of household cats named Eris went missing, I would report my parents about it and they'd be upset too and they would try to go out and look for her, even if it cost money, not say 'Oh well' and take a family trip to a shopping center to cheer ourselves up. You'd think that if what really happened is that the dog actually goes missing, OP's family would all try to look for the dog and not be all 'oh well, we can't find the dog' and try to cheer OP up by taking her on a shopping trip. This isn't like loosing your favorite toy and going out to get a replacement or teaching the person who lost it to move on from it, this is a living animal who went missing and yet, her mother treats the fact that her dog went missing the same way as if OP had lost a toy. Couldn't OP spot this major red flag?
I feel bad for OP, but I feel bad for the man too. I wish they had ended up doing a joint custody thing with Bongo
Best part of waking up is Rslash in your cup!

First Story: That's not Diz-knee _villain_ evil, that's outright Diz-knee evil (especially modern Diz-knee under Bob Chapek).
Second Story: I will never understand people like those neighbors. Especially when the father threatened to sue. He was either bluffing or too stupid to realize he'd have very likely lost and been stuck with legal fees worse than towing fees.
First story: The man is a really kind soul. He knew he was just a pawn in the plan of this evil excuse of a mother, that's why he gave back the dog after five years of having it.

You know what my parents did when my sister and I got our own cars? They extended the driveway. Like new concrete and property line proof. Who the hell just takes someone else's driveway?
The first story about the dog really touched my heart not only am I a dog owner myself I canât imagine what the kid and the man who bought the dog felt like donât get me wrong heâs amazing for giving up the dog to the rightful owner but imagine spending 5 years with your dog just to find out it was basically stolen from someone else Iâm so glad everything worked out on its own the mom got what was coming she doesnât deserve a son after what she did sheâs hella entitled
12:30 Wow, you can literally hear the rSlash's resentment towards the truck even though he doesn't know it personally.
First story just reminded me that my mom has a problem giving pets away so I donât think Iâll have pets for a while
The last story about the truck:
I would also look into filing charges for Invasion of Privacy. I don't know if that's a thing where you live, but here the offender can be fined, jailed or both. Considering his hostility on video, he would most likely get both. Keep that in mind if they try to sue you; you can counter with the Invasion and have your lawyer remind him that his children can be removed from the home.
Having leverage is always best, and he may actually drop the suit. If he doesn't, be prepared to nail his butt to the wall. At this point, I think his kids would be better off in a more nurturing environment, even Juvenile Hall would be better than that prat.

At least op got his dog back

My dad, with me as an adult, gave someone my childhood dog when he moved back into my state. Didnât even ask me if I wanted him.
To be fair he did tell me he was going to âget rid of himâ but I thought it was a joke because my dog was obviously quite stressed out being in an unfamiliar place and acting up. The dog was probably around 10 or older so yah.
Didnât even give me a last chance to get my dog and so now Iâll never see him again cause since he was a smaller older dog if he got out for any reason heâd be gone for sure. I live in AZ so little escapee dogs donât lastâŠ
I couldnât even get past the first story without goingđł. What would drive someone to sell a dog out of nowhere? I couldnât tell you what Iâd do to repay my mother if she ever did that shit, but not talking to her would be the start and the least of her problems

Wow, the mom from that story with the dog is a monster. Especially because I'm willing to bet that shopping trip she took OP on after she sold Bongo, where OP's mom only bought them a couple little toy cars (because they were on sale) and a BUNCH of stuff for herself, was more than likely paid for with the money she got from selling Bongo. That isn't Disney villain evil, that's just plain evil. Literally crushing you child's happiness for your own short term monetary gain. At least the guy she sold Bongo to turned out to be a good guy and was understanding enough to give OP their stolen dog back.
