"She's old, she doesn't deserve to deal with this stress"
Quite the opposite, in my opinion, there's plenty of seniors who deserve nothing more than to deal with the consequences of their belligerent entitlement.
Yeah you're right. That dog does not deserve that.
Being in her 60s isn't really that old...
Well what about the dog? Isn't the dog too old to deal with the stress of being effectively dumped in the shelter?
Funny thing is animals can actual make elder people happier, some old homes let pet shelters being some of they animals for the elderly to hang out with, makes elderly and animals feel better

@N Logan Actually had this happen to me recently. I'm not actually military, but I have a large amount of respect. Me and my parents were at a party, and a rather large man walked in. I don't know the specifics, but my dad told me he was E7 and a very good man, so of course I stood and saluted with my father (he had recently been discharged due to a heart procedure). After I sat down and was talking to my mom, this lady taps me on my shoulder and tells me I didn't salute her. I asked her what rank she was and she just points to the officer and says "I'm his wife." I scoffed at her and my dad told her she wasnt worthy of a salute. People are ridiculous
@N Logan No he wasnt. Maybe I was finessed. I still probably would have saluted to show respect since the dude was actually a really good dude

I grew up as a military brat, living on bases with my brother, mother and my dad who was an officer. I always noticed my mom was never very social with the other women on base but just assumed it was because she was busy with my brother and I. Later on, once I entered high school my dad was promoted to COL and all of the Karens I never even knew existed, started coming out of the woodwork. I didn't know what a Karen was at the time and just thought of them as nosy, loud women with unnecessarily short hair cuts. They brought all kinds of pastries to the door unannounced hoping to sit down with my mom just for "Some Coffee". She hated that. She ended up keeping the blinds down during the day when she was home alone because she couldn't stand the gossip. That was when I noticed she wasn't part of the OWC (Officers Wives Club). She refused to join. Although she did become friends with a couple of women on base that were actually really cool. Anyways, one time she allowed the OWC to hold one of their monthly meetings at our house and my god!! Karens were everywhere! Loudly talking over each other, commenting on what they would have added or left out of some other Karens recipe, gloating about their kids at school and on and on. That was the first and last time that ever happened. My mom has TONS of Karen/Entitled Parents stories! I should write some of them down. Oh and P.S. ... Never ONCE did my mom use my fathers rank to get away with anything or threaten another mother! She has always demonstrated a great capacity for humility, patience and kindness. She taught me a lot... but I still have zero tolerance for loud intrusive people.
have a nice day bruv
My dad is a Colonel and it seems the higher he gets the more NICE people I start seeing. Bangladesh seems to be the exact opposite of where ever you are. Now nice people doesn't necessarily mean that I haven't seen entitled people and parents. But it's nothing like anything you will find on reddit it's not even anywhere close. It's hard to tell karens apart here because they all behave the same except when it comes to the housewifes who dump their husbands hard earned money on whatever they can find and those who just brag about their kids or keep talking about them. My mom is one of the few working women on the base. Entitlement seems a lot more common amongst enlisted and NCO ranks.
But, main point: As a military wife you don't WEAR your husband's rank, you are addressed by it and it is in no way a title.
@@titan4110 Wow that is really interesting. I actually liked living on the bases most of the time, including the schools since new students were always coming in so it was easier to make friends. It wasn't until my father grew in rank did it all start to get to be a bit much. It didn't last for too long though because he retired just a few years after. I am happy to hear you had a good experience though! And I 100% agree that the spouse does not wear the rank!
@@industcore4247 That is very sweet of you. Thank you!
@@JD-rq3ur I like living in bases too. Life is so much easier in defense than civil. I have seen some people who brag too much but no one is entitled in any way. Spouses do not wear the rank unless both are in the military like one of my nice neighboring families (The guy is a Colonel and his wife is a Lieutenant Colonel). People are sometimes nosy and loud tho but by 'loud' I mean you can hear their 'silent convos' from 10 feet away. But that's it.
So happy to finally see someone punch someone who touches them without asking!!!! Absolute karmic justice
E-5 isn't high ranking. It ain't shit. Basically just means they have responsibilities and lead some people. But anyone can be a E-5. If someone says high rank, they better be a E-8 or E-9
Lilly Azura my father was an E-4 or E-5 when he retired. Yes he was in charge of others and if any of his soldiers did something dumb he looked out for them or took responsibility. Literally know one would think to act like E-5 is a high rank like a general or some bs.
Or an Officer
Lilly Azura E5 is high rank compared to majority of the military. And not everyone can be an E5, depending on your MOS, you have to be have almost max points. Now how this person did use this in correctly.
@@mwo79 that depends on the branch in my experience E-5s are a dime a dozen and usually just except more responsibility but dont have much pull in the grand scheme
One of my relatives retired as an O-5, Lt.C; people Iâd gone to school with would brag about their dads, moms, or brothers being an E-5, or E-6. Iâd never chime in cause I didnât understand my relatives rank or the system itself, until one day some girl, whoâs dad was an E-5, asked me all snootily what my relatives rank was. I just shrugged my shoulders and was like
â Lt.C, why?â Some people just looked at me with that, âare you joking?â look. The girl whoâd asked me promptly sat back down and neeever spoke about it again.
E-5 (in the army) is just a lowly Sergeant. It really doesnât mean anything. Itâs usually the first NCO position. But the wifeâs actions would DEFINITELY reflect in his reviews and potentially lose him that rank.
Yeah if you're not able to get your spouse under control, the Army will reduce your rank to take away her ability to flaunt it.
At least she didn't brag that he was an E4. I got E4 in the AF and did absolutely nothing to earn it. I called it 'pulse and respiration rank'.
I was an army brat. And bc there was a mom and kid that literally were all over base being disrespectful to anyone and everyone, hubby got the talk, the reason he got gigged, wifey was speeding on base and pulled the hubby rank card on an MP wowzer did hubby get in trouble for not âcontrolling his familyâ
'Lowly Sergeant' here. At least I wasn't a corporal.
Edit: spelling. Stupid fingers.
Former E-5 here as well. That lady had ZERO clout. LMAO
Why is the grandma talking about herself? When she explains the dog is old and ugly.
"I've heard of this type of people, but I've never encountered a wild Karen!" I have to get that off my bucket list!
I have it was a play area type thing called kidzania I btw am a child and this woman keeps trying to talk to me and get me to follow her and her kids around as my mother got lost in the shopping centre and couldn't find me but she began just walking up to me and chatting and trying to get me to follow then whilst I'm in there making custom pkmn cards the printer breaks and it take me alone 20 mins more than waiting time to finish and this woman blonde haired and inside sunglasses in pitch black began to yell at the BLA BLA ITSAYS 15 MINS BLA BLA HOW DARE YOU YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME BLA then after she calms 5 mins later I walk out to hi what are you doing...waiting 4 your mum oh why dont you sit with me I'm sure it will be fin- oh...I see YOU got a 2nd card you must REALLY like pkmn tisk tisk keeping in mind that's like my tradition so I'm think that I should leave so I do BOOM there she looks I'll go this way I think BOOM guess who? Eventually my mum arrives and she's nowhere to found
That second one: Karen is what we Veterans call a "dependapotamus", and her actions could cost her junior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) rank. An E-5 is a Sergeant (Army and Marines)/Petty Officer 2nd Class (Navy)/ Staff Sergeant (Air Force). Not very high-ranking, in all actuality.

The dog story has me so upset. I would give anything to have my dog back that passed away last month. She was very old, and didn't do much, but was full of love. That EG doesn't deserve what I'm sure is a wonderful old pup.
Ummm the first story has been updated (three times)over the past couple of weeks:
Edit: Quick update! With 3 minutes left to go till we close and no EGD or EG in sight, this will now become a police matter! I gave em plenty of time to get here, now they can deal with felony charges.
Edit 2: No word from EGD or EG either. I doubt they'll show up again at this point. The poodle is doing great though. She is getting the food and medication she needs and already seems more energetic. The plus side is in shelters, the smaller dogs always tend to get adopted first, so once she is medically cleared for adoption, she will most likely get a home that day.
Edit 3: Ok so this should be the conclusion here. The poodle was placed with a Senior Dog Rescue that already has a foster lined up. The pupper has been medically cleared so they are going to be just fine. As for EG, the police made contact. She committed the crime in this county therefor she is having charges placed against her in this county. As for when the court date is or any further information in the case i wonât be included in that as it is now between EG and the county. I do know that it is not going to go well for EG.
Good. Hope they file additional charges for animal cruelty and for the previous times she tried to abandon it (since animal control was on the micro chip you this is clearly not the first time).
Thank you for this. â€ïžđ€
I can imagine that she went to a different county because she had tried abandoning her dog in her county multiple times already. Probably thought that if I drop my dog off in another county, I won't get a warning or in trouble. I hope the daughter didn't placate her with a new dog (that she would probably just abandon once it became too much for her).
@@ashleybuechler860 I can't even grasp such cruelty. We really don't deserve dogs.

E5 is a Sergeant. Itâs not that big of a deal. She acted like he was an O5 ( Lt Colonel) or something. Jeez military spouses who try to use their spouses rank suck.
05 and 06s are just about a dime a dozen.
I could not keep myself from snort laughing when the daughter said her Mom didn't want the dog because it was "old and ugly"
The dog story makes me want to cry. Despite the obvious neglect, that poor baby definitely loved that heartless old bat, and she didn't care about it at ALL. This exact situation minus the county line issue is exactly what led to my adoption of my husky. I worked at the clinic that served as our city pound. A man brought her in, skin and bone, soaked and caked in mud, trembling visibly from several feet away, ears down, belly down, butt tucked, trying to make herself as small as possible, with a length of rope tied around her neck as a makeshift leash. He claimed he'd found her as a stray, but this was a small mountain town, and word spread quite quickly after that, that he was her rightful owner, he'd tried to force her to be a ranch dog, but at nine months young, she wasn't wanting to work herself to death without food to fuel her growing body. đĄ her pads were already worn smooth from the amount of labor she'd performed. He docked her tail which is a cruel act even when it's done by the doctor, but he clearly had done it himself -- she's so lucky he didn't leave any nerves exposed at the end which can easily happen and lead to chronic nerve pain. EVERYONE knew about her story except me, because by the time someone broke down and spilled the beans, I'd had her for about a year and we are seriously attached at the hip -- she's literally lying with her head on my hip snoring rn because she fell asleep giving me DPT haha -- people knew how it would break my heart to find out she'd been abused and then abandoned right in front of me and I'd THANKED HER ABUSER FOR BEING SO KIND AS TO BRING HER IN. God dammit. I want to get into my time machine and go beat the crap out of him. Anyway........ sometimes abandonment IS for the best for them as long as it's a safe place instead of a ditch or the bottom of a well đ but it's still upsetting when people are just so callous about such loving beautiful creatures they don't deserve in the least. I pray that nobody was STUPID enough to give that cruel old bitch another animal.
I get itâs the law, but if the lady brought in the dog to be abandoned, why on earth would you call her to get it back? The poor thingâs been abused and neglected! In that case, screw the law, make it better and have it be happy for the time it has left.
I'm sure they would do that if it wasn't illegal. As far as the law is concerned, someone brought in a dog and the vet stole the dog brought in. They can't just ignore the law unfortunately
They do have to follow the law but pretty sure they could call the authorities and claim animal abuse and ensure the animal doesnât have to go back there... Iâd just get the cops involved right away...
I hate this story, especially if the poor creature gets picked up by its previous owners. You just know that she's the type to tie it up somewhere and leave it to die or something. I really want this dog to be safe. I hope she doesn't pick it up and it becomes a police matter instead :(
Don't dignify legislation by calling it law.
@@Mcyxof i heard this story on another channel

My Dad use to be in the military.. navy then army, and he retired as Staff Sgt E6(if memory serves correctly), but idk about his rank with the navy. All i do know is that he has 2 bronze stars. But yes, an active military member is responsible for their spouse, and any other family members, while they're on base. They could face serious ramifications, especially if that entitled parent did hurt her and the kids. He could even lose rank over it. A wife pulling their husbands rank on someone else is fucking pitiful. I use to have a military ID, and hardly used it. Only to go on the base to get cigarettes. Being a military spouse does not give you the same amount of respect. I hate people like that

"Welcome to r/entitledparents where an entitled mother yells at a disabled person"
So, every episode of this ever, gotcha
Lmao the dependas are strong in this one đ yes, a spouse's behavior can GREATLY impact an active duty career. And while yes, a dependa will often use their spouses rank, sometimes what's scarier ISNT rank. It's what they actually DO. So for instance.. yeah, AD member may only be an E3.. but has the power and authority to potentially make your life hell by being petty af no matter the other rank. I've watched the glorious drama unfold.
Very true...in some cases the rank just doesn't matter for how much they can screw with you. My own experience was in the Navy, on an aircraft carrier. As we were wrapping up a deployment, the CO of the entire ship decided to scapegoat the engineers over a delay that kept us from getting home for an extra week. I never did find out what the real reason for the delay was, but it wasn't down in the reactor spaces or the engineering rooms. To get back at the CO, at least one of the mechanics put purple dye in his shower water (the CO and XO have their own loop for shower water) resulting in our Captain having to give his end of deployment speech (which is in front of all of the families and the local media) with his skin dyed grape purple. He never did find out who did that to him.
I feel so sorry for that military guy. He's got himself a quality Dependapotomous. And yes the military person is responsible for their spouse. It's a horrible thing that I see/hear about far too often. These young guys get married to someone far too fast, pop out some kids, and they're trapped with these lousy women that act entirely entitled. I have a friend who married far too fast. Thankfully he didn't knock her up but the moment a ring was on that finger, ouch. And the woman's father was a MASTER CHIEF. aka, highest ranking enlisted possible. So this poor guy, E-4 at the time, is trying to get away from this insane woman while her FATHER is going for this dude's throat at the command level. Aka, master chief going straight to the ship's boss.
Dude eventually got a divorse. Dependapotomouses are disgusting. It's the Karen of the military.
so the man uses his rank to bully a fellow sailor? that sailor has help but if he didnât use it he wasnât being truthful about what was going on behind the scenes.
As someone who recently had to put down the elderly rescue poodle Iâve had for sixteen years, that dog story made me livid. Poodles are some of the sweetest, brightest, snuggliest dogs Iâve ever met. When my girl reached her last couple years all she wanted was to be held, pet, and loved. Even though she was blind and deaf towards the end, but knew us by scent, floor vibration, and touch and lived a happy life. That vile woman didnât deserve that poor dog or the love it had for her. God, I just want to cry now. I miss my dog more than ever.
Just so you know, an E5 is one of the sergeant/petty officer ranks. E stands for enlisted, literally any officer outranks him.
Yes, a military member is responsible for the behavior of their spouse. I can severely adversely effect their career. Talk about a crazy lady!
5:07
that's not ok in any situation. Gotta love the mom teaching her son it's ok to just pull down girl's shirts just cause he wants something. That won't have ANY bad repercussions when he gets to high school
That was a mistake in the last story, giving in to the Karen
Iâm not completely sure how the military works but I have heard from my sister whoâs husband is in the military that a military wife could go complain and curse out the higher up but all that will happen is they will laugh her out of the base and ruin her and a little of his reputation
I stopped everything to watch as soon as I saw the title.
Iâm sorry I really like dogs.
Edit: thatâs one thing Iâll never understand about people when it comes to dogs. The way people get dogs for the sake of showing off or because they donât stay small honestly baffles me to no end. I donât have a dog but I honestly wish I could have the dogs those idiots decided to abandon

Same. I can't have pets in my home but god do I wish I could. T_T
Military kid here! (I also work at a CYS facility) there are two types of military guys enlisted (e) or officer (o) enlisted are people who just flat out join go to boot camp etc. officers on the other hand go to college go through ROTC and then join the military as an officer. An E6 would be a tech Sergeant (one above staff sergeants youâre familiar) so yes for an enlisted man heâs a decent rank.
For some reason I love falling asleep to your podcasts, the satisfaction of people getting justice is just calming
Regarding the Stich tattoo story - that is when the friend should have squatted down to talk to the kid and let the kid know that he will NOT get to see the tattoo is because his mom just grabbed and did not ask for permission to see it. Would have been hilarious if that mom with the sled out-ranked or was married to someone who out-ranked EM's husband
My husband is an E-5 in the US Air Force, and he's a Staff Sergeant. Airmen at E-4 and down don't even have to salute him.
This is one of my favorite Reddit reading channels because he's pretty loud with my computer-which some people hate or get annoyed at- so I can leave the room to go to the kitchen and grab a snack and still be able to hear him.
I love how whenever necessary he just says the word and censors it instead of changing the word
It's nice
Re: the story with the sled. It's ALREADY a problem, I don't live on a base but a LOT of my friends do, and AFAIK flaunting your spouses rank to bully or intimidate someone is a SERIOUS violation of code of conduct, which, under the right circumstances can lead to charges of Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and even removal from base housing (if this is not a first offense).

I don't have a pet, since I know I do not have the patience or the time to care for it, but whenever I feel the need to get some fluffy cuddles, I go to my friend's house and their dog is this massive angry-looking bernard that is actually a sweetheart, and I haven't heard it ever bark at a stranger. I am a bulky 6'2" but it still knocks me on the ground every time I try to come in the house.
"The dog looks like it died months ago and didn't know it." That certainly paints a very particular mental image, wow.
I work at an animal shelter and Iâve seen so many horrible people and it always hurts to deal with these sad cases. I had a case where a couple chained up and would starve their dog because they said it kept making too much noise. I cried every day for a week it was so sad. Regardless, the mother is teaching her child that it is okay to get what he wants without asking, which can be _very_ problematic in the future. If your child doesn't understand the concept of personal space, they almost certainly will have related issues later. Think about George from _Of Mice and Men,_ in which his ignorance of personal space literally causes the death of a woman.
Let's hope the kid still has a chance and will learn how to be decent through school and/or social media. Some children of EPs actually turn out nice so the best i can do is hope đ
Artemis Or Whatever like i Said. Itâs really the mother whoâs the problem. Kids donât know the rules of society before they are taught, and that is the parents responsibility
The jams i agree !
And someone tell that kid good job for using his words right
If I'm right, an E5 is a Staff Sargent and is in the middle of the enlisted ranks.
RS: where an entitled person tells at a disabled person
Me: again?
If there's one thing i've learned of this subreddit, it's that military spouses tend to have a higher chance of becoming entitled-
can i just take this moment to thank rslash for making a career out of reading reddit posts everyday, cos these videos has helped me out of boredom as i listen to it everyday while i work at home TvT
Why is everybody in tears when they meet Karen? I would be in tears of true happines
I couldn't imagine doing that to my boy, Sif, as pictured.
I had a breakdown today because Facebook showed me a memory of him as a puppy next to my old dog, who we lost last year at 15 years old. It broke my heart.
Ah, shit.. Someone get me a tissue.. Box.
As always, love from Aussieland m8 «3 thank you for the great bedtime stories every night! Or not so great ones, sometimes.
It's like saying goodbye to a friend you have known longer than you're parents for some reason.
Ah, a fellow Dark Souls fan.
0:05 - Titular story - Granny Karen abandons her dog at animal shelter for being too "old and ugly" (TW: Animal abandonment/abuse)
4:16 - Store Karen pulls down OP's tank top without their consent so her crotch goblin can see their tattoo (TW: Nonconsensual touching, sexual assault mention)
6:46 - Military Wife Karen tries to steal a sled for OP's 4yo son
11:51 - Daycare Karen wants OP to watch her kids for free
16:20 - Car Park Karen wants OP to park in another spot because she doesn't want her kids to get caught in the snow
I love Car Park Karen. Thatâs the perfect name.
I used to volunteer at an SPCA shelter, and I have only seen animal abandonment once. Someone brought in 4 newborn kittens that they discovered in a trashcan. These kittens were so tiny, 2 fit in my hand. I don't know what happened to whoever threw the kittens in the trash, but they were put into foster care, and I hope they found great homes with loving owners
Iâm already upset about an abandoned puppy and I just started the vid
Military spouses like that boil my blood and it's super common for wives to wear their husbands rank. Makes me so mad.
"With friends like that who needs enemies"
-rSlash,2020
That's an extremely common and old quote. He didn't come up with it himself. It's not some clever new thing. Just FYI.
"No! I used my words!" Is the most adorable this a toddler could angrily say
the EP and EK voice is the funniest crazy voice ever.
I think it is annoying x
Greatest_Orange_Kiddo good for you?

One of my PTSD triggers is being touched in between my shoulder blades on my back, like when someone pats your back. I never thought itâd be a huge issue but the amount of old people in retail who think itâs okay to put their hands on workers is fucking insane.
imagine how terrifying it would be having a child Karen.. watching a cute little toddler become a murderous monster
Feels bad that a dog was left behind damn
I know what we can do we start a hate crime against every animal abuser. ( pulls put sword ) my weapon thirsts for the blood of animal abusers.
Plush Tube my sword canât be sheathed unless it Tastes blood of dog abusers so Iâm in

Dude I wished that this girl from Stitch story had just the reaction of punching the b square in the face. Or at least like this one soldier person from another story that tackled karen to the ground.
8:12 the mom knows how to use her words lol
how i get my dogs to take a pill (pretty affective)
1. take a piece of cheese or meat
2. wrap the pill in the food
3. feed it to the dog
usually, theyâll eat it without a problem
You should do r/iamverybad or r/iamverysmart because both of those are great
Pleass
The Karen in the thumbnail is so cute and thatâs the only Karen I would love to deal with
I was in the military for a few years, yes the miliary person would be responsible for her actions. They could easily be dishonorably discharged for the misbehavior of the people.
Nothing ticks me off like disabled parking violators. At the end of her life my mom had a placard. Sheâd survived cancer twice, survived a pulmonary embolism, hat a knee and shoulder replacement, and ALZ. We used to use shopping trips to break up her day. Anyone who fraudulently uses one deserves the hefty fine theyâre going to get.
If I ever saw someone misstreating their dog, I wouldn't go john wick mode on them, I would go Doomguy on them
Edit: fir whoever doesn't know what I mean, at the first doom game ending, doom guy found out that demons killed his pet rabbit
R.i.p Daisy
Wow, first ever mention of Lilo and Stitch on Reddit, and it's already like this...
That's also a way to promote and super-underrated and unkown Franchise by the way.
âThis next ones from, Iâm not sureâ

I can't count how many times I have seen people abandon senior animals at a shelter. The worst was someone dumped a 22 year old dog. The good thing is once they are posted on social media there are tons of people filing adoption applications. But I can not understand the kind of person who would do that. For a dog's entire life they give us unconditional love and loyalty, then at the end of their life when they need us they deserve to have someone there till their very last moment.
I feel bad for the girl with the stitch tattoo, I know what sexual abuse/assault is like
I hope that she and you are doing well and her and your abusers have gotten their commupence
I love how I can wake up in the morning see a notification on my phone that he made another video.
I just love that â€ïž
Some random tv show âthereâs a Karen sheâs scanning for her preyâthe wild Karen starts running at them âholy god everyone runâand then the camera man was traumatised for life
Youâre ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! Not only will the Spouse In Service get IN TROUBLE...they can Also Get DEMOTED!!!
