Question bro. Are there different type of sword in the game. I’m tryna have two swords but I don’t see anyone posting with two swords. That big sword that u have, is that the only sword that was available for the demo or are there other regular size swords we can duel wield with bro. It will be kool if u can have two katanas. like Spartacus lol
Since upgrading gear seems to change it's appearance, I wonder if there will be an option to switch between appearances, similar to ghost of tsushima. Did you spot anything of sorts?
When you use 2 weapons is it still just one button you use or you use RB and LB ??? Coz my LB is broken and doesn’t work so im hoping you just use RB lol
It actually requires the game to be balanced. Something odyssey wasnt. They didnt spend enligh time on that part of the game. That's why auto scaling is a thing in that game.
Your gameplay with the two heavy weapon was crazy !!!! It's extremely beautiful ! I'm a martial art practitioners and i approve the way the weapon are handled. Strike with a weapon and chambers the others in same movement, ilt's the basic of dual handling... AND IT'S FUCKING PRESENT IN GAME. I'm mad with joy and sick of hype!!!!!! I hope you will make others video with this marvelous combination of heavy axe and heavy big great sword.... GUTS of BERSERKER is in your soul bro !!! Very very nice video. I replay the boss fight with 0.25 speed more than 10 times lol
I think evasion might be detection speed, but your theory on parry/dodge timings would work well too. By the way, love how in depth you go with the limited info. I am subscribing for things like this.
When they switched combat to odyssey my first thought after playing it is man... the 3 different skill trees reminded me of wows 3 skill trees you could mix together to make a build. The light and attack combos that you could mix together and weave in the abilities you learned. Having 4 abilities then 4 extra on second bar switch 8 total felt like a pretty good amount. And it made me think... what if world of Warcraft made a console game with this combat system how cool it would be. Being a rogue with stealth and up to 8 abilities a warrior!! With charges leaps !! A hunter with bow play... I feel like it would be a good combat system for a mmo

So, when I look at my armor, it says I have their bonus effect but when I look in detail, it all says zero to each “bonus” stat. Am I missing something
Idk, I actually kinda liked odyssey system more... one of my favorite things was going out and hunting down specific legendary gear from cultists or specific chests (not the rng drops, but the dedicated drops). I'm gonna miss hunting down legendary armor sets and specific legendary weapons with cool and unique perks/set bonuses; doesnt look like valhalla has that; I thought it was so satisfying to kill a boss and get specific legendary loot from it
Would have liked for you to mention that upgrading quality also changes what the items look like while talking about the Upgrade System. Doing it later felt like a small disconnect. It's something that bothered me in Odyssey since I had some low-level armor that looked far more impressive then higher level stuff. Otherwise a great video though.

I have noticed that you haven't done a build for the northern travelers set in odyssey, though you did a viking build. Could you revisit you viking build and revamp it to include the northern set?

I really like this gear system, i always struggled with what to scrap and what to keep. Lol This seems to make every weapon a possible keeper.

Jordan, have you been able to revisit the Stats part since launch? I know you made this video early and said you might upgrade after launch.
If you have runes socketed in gear that your not currently using, do the stats still count? Or do they have to be equipped?

you can hide any part of your armor right. so if i hide my cloak will it stay off or will it pop back on when i got stealth?
From a glance at skill tree Evasion is chance to negate enemy crits into normal hits.
