my pc is low end and i was playing as germany defeated everyone but north and south america and it was 1946 it was so laggy and disgusting i stopped playing that.

@@nikakentchuashvili5864 When I played into the late game for some achievement I would draw up a battle plan and just leave it running as I did other stuff, like watching a movie, making dinner, having a smoke. Checking back in now and then, things never changed much between check-ins
Some of the achievements make me cry. I have a decent PC but late game just lag and use a nuke to gain a square.
That last stage attrition hellhole because the ai didn't build shit

Try Restarting/ Reloading. It refreshes supply and removes "local supply bases" on encircled tiles as well. sometimes triggers the War support bug though
I want you to know I felt that rant about not being able to get supply through naval zones in my soul. Exact same thing happened in my most recent game when a handful of subs still managed to absolutely ruin my supply route across the black sea even though I had my entire destroyer escort fleet out hunting them.
The disaster save serie is already my favorite of yours.

I used to neglect towed AA until I got severally punished for it.
A small number of factories can supply a lot of support AA.
The problem with annexing a puppets navy is they don't tend to have good module's, your escort Destroyer's need 2 Torpedoes, Sonar and 1 Depth charge but the AI doesn't make good ship's.
They're good for chaff...or as another source of manpower. Disbanding crappy AI ships gives you back a little manpower

@@raoulsandhu1415 Generally prefer the Irish stuff. Lyons Gold Blend is my favourite but Yorkshire Tea is a decent substitute as it's Assam-based as well.

Having just done this achievement the other day I can honestly say I felt your pain at the end of that video. Throwing what little manpower you have at Germany until eventually it falls over and dies. Needless to say though great video!

I really enjoyed this thanks - it is especially good to watch a video where things don't go to plan. So many videos show perfect play which is demoralising to a player where things go wrong all the time. A supply idea - I wonder whether you could have broken through Trieste-Venice to get more supply by land. Hard to see on the video but looked like the ITIs had pulled troops out of there or there were even empty tiles. Any way look forward to the next one. MMM

looks like the naval supply is coming from Athens to Italy, so even though you controlled the Adriatic they are still getting raided in the Mediterranean

I think the issue with supply in Italy is cause by blocking off the sea zone after it has supply through that zone. I've had similar issues in different situations, when there's a perfectly good route but they just don't use it properly and setting the zone to yellow usually fixes it.

What are your thoughts on choosing the doctrine for a tank build? I thought that right-right mobile warfare is the meta for tonks in the current patch.

Alternative to radar... Naval bombers and the like, TACs set to naval attack.

At least 100 planes is nice, its round number and makes it easy to manage, i prefer wings of 200 but never in anything other then an incriment of 50 (with a minimum of 100 of course unless scraping literal bottom of barrel somehow)
Around 19:30 when you left a single tank in Sofia. You made a Frontline with just that tank. Wouldn't it be better to just Ctrl+H it to unassign it from orders? That way it won't leave when the Frontline stretches, and other tanks won't automatically assign to that "Frontline" after closing an encirclement?
I've had the same problems in Italy several times. I didn't blame it on supply, I think it may be due to Italians having a bonus on core territory due to high war support. I also usuallly solve it with more naval invasions. In addition, I love using 20 width light tank divisions. Can even function without logistics companies. Not as much punch as mediums ofc. Interesting to watch these saves because you touch on so many subjects and often made mistakes. I wish I had my old disaster save that was unsavable I think.... Maybe I'll try to recreate it
You know, I wander if its feasible to have a mixed tank program
Have some good mediums to make the initial breakthrough, exposing empty tiles, use infantry to do pinning attacks so they don't quickly get reinforced, then rush light tanks through the empty tiles to disorganize their front.
You may have saved the game, but at what cost I wonder? Imagine a world where a Lithuanian-Polish rises out of WWII. What does that future look like? Scary.

Planes in italy did not work because they had no supply. And your convoy escort was so bad. It would have been better to take your entire navy split it in 8 and make all 8 convoy escort. Also you should have use cas for naval strike in adriatic sea and you should not have closed the rome sea region
I have questions : Can we submit saves from mods ? & Can we send intentional disaster saves (like a custom challenge) ?
I'd prefer genuine, vanilla ones. They allow me to teach people what some mistakes are and how to prevent or fix them. But feel free to send them in

Do you do disaster saves for mods?
I am learning a lot. I tend to never strategically retreat for a better defensive position, and I have an over reliance on massed infantry. I usually win all of my campaigns against the AI, but it tends to take me well past 1945 and I rely on completely overwhelming them with sheer numbers.
This video pleases me, that is all.
I think why you couldn’t get supplies to italy is because you didnt do convoy escorts

I don't really think that messing up supply routes in mediterranean is wise. Some in the comments would argue that the game might bugged and try restarting/reloading may solve... The thing is that when ignoring Tyrrhenian sea and supplying through Adriatic sea ONLY will make AI discover that there's no convoys in other region and then pour everything to Adriatic sea, then the chaos. Convoys are pretty much expendible when you HAVE a plan to naval invade AI since they will lure the enemy navy away. Yes convoys may only head to the largest port, but that just leave AI triple the regions to raid.
Your army is much more valuable than some convoys. And don't mess with the supply routes when you trying to naval invade, it will cost your armies' lives instead.
But great video anyway! :D

I think the player did this to himself, the player with the axis defeated the early allies so now Germany is super powerful has a big navy no problems at all, a bad idea in general, he just needed to stop the game there and start doing a good line of defense, take out Italy and then enjoy driving around Germany with some tanks or 40 with infantry.

Not 100%, but I think its not efficient to give fters both orders. In combat you need 'green air' from fters on air superiority. If you are just defending against bombers, you can save fuel and air accidents by going interception ?
A little late now, but the stock rn is quite capable of killing subs. The E/F/G/H class destroyers have sonar and depth charges, and the A/B/C/D class do as well, but are tier 1. Which is fine for subs. Put these on convoy escort with an admiral that has good defense. Also, the Italian AI NEVER EVER builds capital ships. Ever. In 2700 hours of playing I've never seen them build anything bigger than light cruisers. Naval supremecy shouldn't be any issue whatsoever with stock RN. Against Germany and Italy..

@@Bitt3rSteel i feel that and also thank you for explaining the supply problem over sea tiles a bit better. me and my friend played an Axis game when we went to invade the US we couldn't get any supply even with well over 300 ships in almost every tile form Germany to the US. Also thank you for the Lithuania guide super helpful super fun i make those motorized division all the time works great with any country that can make them.

How did Austria get the Royal Navy ?
I'm assuming he puppets the UK, annexed them and and the released them again to avoid having to deal with the extra territory
why 100 size air instead of 200? 200 fits air bases better, so that's what I've been defaulting to. Does 100 perform better than 200?
Mathematically, 50 performs best, as it's the samllest functional air wing, making them perform the most amount of attacks.
But 100 is easier for maths

Noob question: how do you get manpower? I always choke on that aspect of the game
you get manpower just from territory alone. there is a difference between core territory and occupied territory core means that you own/entitled to it and you get more manpower in that area 100% resources and etc. occupied gives a lot less in everything
Increase conscription, capture land, make your templates smaller or disband unneeded troops
Hi, i know I'm a bit late for the answer. You can also get some manpower by making a colonial template if you have a puppet. These colonial template use your puppet's manpower to some extent depending on how far from independance they are. Be careful though, i think it gives them autonomy points through war-participation.

I had a austria hungary game that was going super great until Germany decided to mash its face into the maginot and not capitulated the french before attacking russia. Ok though I don't mind a challenge. I'm killing it in Russia. Then U.S. joins and ONE MONTH LATER italy declairs on Greece. 95% of my army is in the Urals NOT on my border with Greece.
You did not check the occupation law. Occupation law can easily consume millions of men if you do harsh occupation you could also have asked india or uk for garrison support

You really should edit your video sound with de-essing, this is a technique to reduce the excessive prominence of sibilant consonants, such as the sounds normally represented in English by "s", "z", "ch", "j" and "sh".
I was thinking the same things - I love these videos but they're close to being unbearable to watch with headphones

I totally disagree with you, cause I played chekoslovakia already on hard and if you want to defeat the German mar machinery you can do lighting strikes with like 3 tanks to cut Germany in a half so the Italian and Hungarians have to supplie dozens of German troops, so you can take Bavaria, Baden Württemberg and nearly every Austrian territory without a big fight, after that regenerate and than do 1 huge push to Berlin, from Berlin to Hamburg and than push to Frankfurt, this works with every nation, for the French, free Belgium and push to Frankfurt, regenerate, free the Netherlands and give up Frankfurt if there is a huge preasure from the germans, instead push from Belgium to the Rhineland, regenerate and than push to Wilhelmshaven, try to encircle germans through a push for the Rhineland and than attack about the river and push to Munich, after that the entire German front will collapse, that would be much harder, without the fast regeneration from blitz
