How to say the r sound in Afrikaans

The R sound in Afrikaans is one of the most difficult sounds in Afrikaans and a lot of people struggle to pronounce it. We don't roll the R sound in our mouth. We make it quite a harsh rrr... sound and not a soft sound like in English.
The best way to describe it is when your freezing cold and you go brrr...
So your tongue goes to the back of your front teeth and you let the air flow through to make the rrr... sound while the tongue is vibrating.
