I teach using just one of many accents in the world. Please only learn it if you like it and if you are interested in learning it. I do not believe there is one “correct” accent or manner of pronunciation and I fully encourage EFL/ESL learners to expose themselves to as many varieties of English around the world to become accustomed to the beautiful variations of this world language. I focus mostly on teaching “Modern RP” (I may just say “RP” in my older videos, but to clarify, I do specifically mean “Modern RP”), however, you will hear a lovely little Yorkshire twang to my accent from time to time too. Please LOVE and BE PROUD of your accent. After all, it is part of your identity and makes you unique. 💚

Thanks Emma teacher excelent class because this phonetic is so much help for me.
I really adore your classes which are very simple and clear. Thank you.
For french people, it's really difficult...thanks to your video, I can understand how to get by
How is it that difficult? English R doesn't sound like those slavic language hard pronunciation of that rolling R.
@@zidane8452 because that sound doesn't exist in French, we're not used to it and it's quite close to a [w] sound so we can make the mistake of pronouncing it in a way that's too close of a w (at least for me)
It takes time to adjust your mouth to make sounds and movements it's not used to.
Thanks Emma teacher your class was very fantastic AND specific how Is the correct pronuntations

Thanks Emma for your great efforts to make us learn right pronunciation. I live in India where only a few educated people take care of pronunciation. Even they dont know the correct pronunciation of Hindi our mother tongue.
Millions of Indian even so called English lectureres in colleges pronounce was as Baj, Father as phader, Computer as Compootar, We as Be, Voice as Bhois. It was very difficult to know the correct pronunciation but thanks BBC world service and so many native English individuals like you have taught me.
