When I first delved into the rabbit hole that is DSP, I thought people were being way too hard on the guy; just a few weeks watching his content, even putting aside all the financial allegations and whatever, and it's clear he's a shameless, abusive narcissist. I believe anyone can change for the better if they put in effort, but DSP is happy to sit a toxic cesspool and continue s*itting in it because he doesn't believe he can drown. How CZcams hasn't banned him off their platform, I genuinely don't understand.
same boat over here, started watching during the Elden Ring rage times and thought people were just going out of their way to hate the guy. Now it all makes sense. I truly don't wish ill on the guy but he continues to show what a pos he is taking advantage/gaslighting of his "fans" and those that actually want to support him.
The answer for your last question is simple: Phil has a literal who channel that doesn't have much traction, which means youtube doesn't benefit that much from his content, so they don't care/didn't even know his channel is there in the grand scheme that is the youtube algorythm, do you ever wonder why Phil is happy that his channel will never grow up past certain extent? This is why, it'd put his channel in so many eye sights that it would be a matter of days before the channel dissapeared from the face of the earth due mass strikes.
I came from the SF community funny enough, got into it in 13' and there was many a compilation involving him at a tourney, people in the fgc where making jokes about the guy winning 4th place at evo on a broken port of SFII on PS1
I feel my LTG intro story is better though. I thought at first he was some godlike player who only stuck to low tier characters and as a newb i wanted to see how well someone could play like that. It was a huge wake up call, eventually i was suggested a TIHYDP and i learned so much more.

I hear this a lot, it sounds a hell of a lot like a cope. DSP has no obligations, no job, no responsibilities, and he gets $130,000 a year for it. He may be awful, but he doesn’t feel that way. He is perfectly happy in life, which the universe has provided him. The idea of balance and karma and all that other crap is mostly an excuse for doing nothing or a cope for failure. The universe would be happy to let Phil exist forever.

He has no friends, no passions being followed, a shitty relationship with his wife if she's even there at this point, socially isolated, deeply miserable, got people digging into his personal life, and has closed off practically all potential for his cash flow to grow past begging a handful of strangers for money besides maybe being a fast food worker, which in itself is showing it's instability as of late.

Wishing harm may sound deranged to an outsider, but sometimes that's what people need. I had a cousin in her late 20s acting like a child even though she had a young daughter. Family members always took care of her until one day that stopped and she was on her own.
Within a few weeks she was forced to learn to save money, take care of her daughter, and appreciate what everyone did for her. It was hard but it's what she needed.

You've seen it from loads of viewers Doody. There is a thing as TOO MUCH DSP! People love the work you do but every person has a breaking point.
Viewers have to take breaks because it changes you when you watch for too long without a break. So there is no failure as a person in getting annoyed. It actually shows some form of morality to GET ANNOYED at scummy behaviour.
Keep up the good work and maybe take a break if it's needed. There are plenty of detractors to fill the void. You're probably still the number 1 source for this Pigroach showcase.
