So I was curious about this "online pattern" he keeps talking about. I couldn't find anything that he's referencing directly. The closest thing is Cammy's hit confirm. What is that? Allow me to explain.
In layman's terms, it's when you throw out a move or two and see if it gets blocked or not. If it gets blocked, you stop doing your combo. If it hits, you continue the combo. In Cammy's case, it's those jabs that Phil keeps bitching about. Every time the jab gets blocked Phil's monkey brain immediately thinks "it's safe to do a move now" when it's clearly not so he gets hit. He then tries to hold back to block and that's when you get the "I'm not doing anything" line. The rest of the time it looks like he's too flustered and keeps missing the openings in Cammy's combos.
This was just 2 minutes of research on CZcams so take it with a grain of salt but the next time you see Cammy throw out 1 or 2 jabs, look at Phil's face.
What he means by online combo or pattern is that bc of the lag, it is impossible to do those combos offlineâŠor in other terms, it would be easier to block those combos offline bc there is no delay. Still a dumb excuse lol

He could stop a lot of Cammy's strats if he only would go to training for 5 minutes, but training mode is killing fighting games.

I wonder if he realises that he keeps losing because instead of accepting the loss and learning from it, theres always an excuse and he refuses to accept anything he did was wrong. If you keep failing because of the same reason (at least in his tiny pea brain) then thats a YOU problem. Failing to learn and adapt isnt the opponents fault when you keep getting hit by the same thing over and over again. Just like LTG, way past their prime but refuse to accept that new gen games have much better players than them. But it's not them thats bad, it's the game but for some reason, they just keep playing it.

If you watch him play and you go look at his inputs. He literally does the same subset of moves over and over again he does not ever adapt.
