Just like how in Japan Charlie Name is Nash an in America his Name is Charlie but later on they decided to just combine his Name to Charlie/Nash.
It's actually kind of touching that even when he can barely remember who he is, Bison remembers Vega and Balrog. Seems like he actually has some respect and appreciation for them.

This is the first game in the timeline after third strike and the fact we still don’t have even a mention of Alex who was the protagonist baffles me. I want alex to come back so bad. In this new art style he might actually look decent because SFV did him no favors to enhance his fan base

Despite loving both characters, the chance is pretty slim since they've already confirmed Balrog will be the next DLC. Having three boxer characters in one game is unrealistic. The likelihood Sean would be coming to DLC is way less than Dan, Dan is already referenced in SF6, he has his freaking dojo in-game already.

There was a leak sometime ago about the roster that might come-up in SF6. Bison and Elena are 2 of the ones that came true or announced, but the other one was supposed to be a Filipino character. A Filipino character is not out of the norm because there was a comics made by Malibu Comics for Street Fighter where a filipina named Nida came to japan in order to train under "Shen Long" - yes, Gouken isn't the official name of Gouken during that time. The story goes that after arriving in Okinawa, Nida found master when long's dojo in ruins and the master poisoned. She helped the master recovered, and in exchanged, the master agreed to train her, much like he did with ryu and ken.
The reason Nida wanted to learn is because she secretly seeks to kill Ryu who she believes was responsible for the death of her father who worked as a police officer. In reality, an evil clone of Ryu, created by M. Bison, was responsible. The comic series ended before Nida discovered the truth. Since Nida is somewhat a cross between Dan and Sakura, but is an actual shoot practitioner and directly learned from "Shen Long", Capcom might be thinking of using such a character or something similar for that leaked unknown Filipino character. Who knows.
What I do want is for Capcom to finally have Ingrid be a canon SF character, since she is the manifestation of Psycho power but without the dark side in a sense. My gues is in the end they might make Bison some sort of an anti-heroe villain much like Magneto, and that somehow, since he did said in the cut scene that he had the most powerful Soul Power before he gave it up for Psycho, that somehow, his Soul Power might be coming back with a vengeance and is now wrestling to take control of Bison. Damn. That will be cool. Bison using both Psycho and Soul Powers, in unison, in a perfect harmony like Yin and Yang.
Please bring back Makoto, The Twin Dragons, Sagat, Ibuki, C. Viper, Balrog, Vega and Menat

The director did say that they are planning on adding more Guest Characters and a Mortal Kombat Character was teased as well. So probably Year 3 will have Vega and Balrog, along with two guest characters or one.
It wasn't teased, he was just specifically asked about it, but a Mortal Kombat character (Or 2) feels VERY likely now because he showed interest and Ed Boon has been on the record repeatedly about wanting to crossover in a fighting game with Street Fighter, whatever means necessary
9:30 just a small correction: bison didn't "make" the horse into one of quality, he states it's a horse of rare quality because it could withstand the amount of psycho power he gave him to prolong his life where it would have killed most other animals

Man, it’s tough. I’d like to see some new characters with SFVI being a new generation that finally moved the story of the franchise forward.

I think Vega and Rog could be red herrings. Faulk seemed like a for sure thing for season 2 based off of Ed's WT mode story. No Faulk. Bison didn't seem to care if Vega or Rog joined him. Them having voice acted scenes is the interesting part though. And we have not had characters introduced in this way. So I could be wrong. But if we assume Vega and Rog are coming for season 3 - I got predictions to go with them. Rose, Faulk, Menat or Fei Long. Sure, Geece is possible too. But I think they reach out to Bandi Namco. A couple of Tekken characters maybe.

I think they should put the Monitor Cyborgs from the Animated Strreet Fighter 2 Movie in the game. Your main moves are scanning opponent to absorb the move list into your brain and copy that style. Like Megaman your movelist keeps growing the moves you learn from previous fights you were in or optionally you can choose the specific style that suits you. You can choose to change movesets anytime similar to Gen from Street Fighter alpha. Basically you do less damaging version of other people's moves but can always have 2 different movesets acessible at once. So imagine having Elen's healing move and chun li's lightning legs? Your character has his OWN moves and you got to figure out if you prefer these or stolen moves from previous matches. You choose before the next match whether to use the monitor cyborg's default moves or use stolen moves and once you set it before the match you are stuck with it for that match.
This character is good for people who know the weaknesses of each opponent and which moves work good against them. The monitor cyborg can come in small, mid, and large body types. (the brain and spinal cord can be chucked into one of these three before a fight)
This would be the most experimental character capcom has ever done. (imagine trying to balance this guy?)
The size of the body determines which moves are allowed to be stolen. So you would need a large body type to execute moves from a large character. If you stole a move from a big guy in the current match when you scanned their body, then to access this move you would need to choose the big body type to be able to execute it in the next match. (otherwise you won't do the move)
The story behind the cyborgs is they became self aware and stopped taking orders from M.Bison and became free agents. Their goal is fighting M.Bison to see if they can make humans obsolete since they are immortal when all their knowledge is uploaded to cloud servers and do not cease to exist if they die physically. As superior beings they want to take over all the villains brains and convert them to cyborg bodies so the knowledge of all their secret moves lives on for generations even if they lose their body. When you reach the boss, M.Bison tries to hack them but they gang up on him and convert him into a cyborg but he loses some of his psycho power without his fleshy body. (making him actually weaker to the Cybrog's surprise) That is the ending for the Monitor Cyborg: they incorrectly thought having synthetic body = more powerful but it's not true for people who rely on supernatural ability.
CAPCOM must be really making some $$$ with this world tour mode, great lore hidden in it, and I haven’t even properly tried it yet, still stuck on learning characters, ranking up and just watching people battle their avatars 😂 this game is legendary in my opinion.
Heihachi will be added after Geese Howard and there will be a "Oops! All Bosses" mode.

Oddly enough, I don't think Balrog will come back in Season 3, an additional season of lore would make more sense as he doesn't know which side to be on, I somewhat feel like the boxer we'd get in Season 3 is more likely to be Dudley.
Great video. Based off this info. I think that season 3 would possibly increase to a 5 character dlc also (who knows). Since season 2 is 2 SNK characters. Geese Howard and his right hand man Billy Kane would be in line for the roster also. Especially since the played with a staff wielder with Falke in sf5. Since Sagat is up in the air, Balrog and Vega too. Im curious though with Rose, because the original leak was Menat since she is her succesor...heres to hoping!!

5:52 when you said that shortly we will get a clue of what character could be coming to the game soon, I thought hopefully not F.A.N.G (now we have a female equivalent of him) as I absolutely hated him in Street Fighter 5 and have to say he’s my least favourite character in the whole series alongside Rufus, Necro, Eleven (or is it Twelve) and the Turkish oil wrestling guy Hakan (sorry I’ve not had any sleep in 35hrs nearly & my brain isn’t working properly). I saw another comment saying that they want Sean & Dudley back and I have to agree especially with Sean I was so disappointed when we got his sister in SF5. I’d like to see Eagle back too and you can’t have a Street Fighter game with all the SF2 World Warrior characters but don’t have Sagat & Vega two of my favourite characters behind Akuma my all time favourite character. And since Akuma has grown in power I’d like to see his brother Goken and maybe everyone’s favourite one armed fighter Oro. With new characters like Kimberly & Jamie I’d like to see Guy (also Cody & Haggard) and Fei Long

Adon would be awesome in sf6! His moveset, his look and his attitude all fit beautifully in this game. Plus his rivalry with Akuma would be interesting to explore more 👍

i never quite understood how vega wasnt origanally claws name. its a common spanish surname which fits claws character a trillion times better than dictators. obviously i can see the m. bison/ balrog name change but vega is quite literally the perfect name for the claw character unless you named him Zoro or something.

I'm thinking season 3 will have two guest fighters from Tekken, my picks being Kazuya and Nina, plus a pair that closely connected to each other. Could be Balrog and Vega, since they are M. Bison's strongest lieutenants. Could be Rose and Charlie Nash, due to their personal connections with Bison. Could be Sakura and Sean, keeping with the theme of succession in SF6. I'm thinking one of those three pairs could join in season 3.
As long as I get either Dan or Vega, I'll be satisfied

SFIII is legendary, but it is also the legendary flop of the Street Fighter series. Its characters will always play second banana to the World Warriors and Heavenly Kings from SFII. Be happy you're getting Elena. I hope she's not the only SFIII character, but I also wouldn't be surprised. Dudley, Ibuki, and Makoto are popular. But IDK how they stack up to the Alpha characters or whatever crossover characters that may come out of the woodwork.
