This put a big smile on my face. Nothing like a gang of bikers, revving their bikes up through the gears, and cruising at .. what? 50 kmh wide open? Looks like great fun!
LOL... good onya Garth! :-)
Hello Mark. Cheers from Japan! Glad to see so many honda cub riders down under.
Keep on good riding!
G'day mate, good onya! :-)
Back in 1968 my first motorcycle was a Honda Trail 90. These CT110's remind me of my first motorcycle. Thanks Mark for posting these terrific videos.
Back in 1962 my Father rented a Honda Cub for a day. With a brief instruct, he turned me loose to put 11 miles on the clock, runnin around my front & back yards !
My "world caught fire" that day, and I was hooked on motorcycles ever since. Over all the decades and miles, on all my mechanical steeds, ((these little hondas)) always bring a sparkle to my eye & a smile to my lips...And have you seen Honda`s CROSS CUB ? YEOW !!!
Plastic jerry cans for panniers is such a smart idea.
Yes I like that they are water proof, cheap and light weight. I agree a smart idea.
Yeah Brilliant idea! :-)
Whats a pannier?
@@Post-Alone saddle bags
Those bikes are AWESOME. Excellent custom work by all the men. Keep On Ridin
Good onya mate! :-)
This was my favourite postie bike video. Now I want one. Should do a budget build postie bike series on the new super cub.
Thanks Shawn and yeah would be a good idea! :-)
The price of a new one would blow the budget
So cool. Big bikes are good & small bikes are fun to ride....
That's exactly right Laz! :-)
Hey, Mark. I've been wanting a CT110 for a long time now. This video, along with the video of you and Matt buzzing around Bendigo, convinced me it's time. Thanks for the inspiration, mate.
Mark, I recognise 2 of those postie Bandits, Pete and Anthony. Like you Mark they like their bikes and have the odd one or 2 between them like you...lol. I still remember coming around the corner near Maydena in Tassie earlier this year to see a "swarm" of posties scoot past the other way with Pete head down between the bars trying to jockey for lead position in the pack. Had a good chuckle to myself as they were having a ball.
Good Onya Ken! :-)
To me this is the real spirit of motorcycling, and what mighty beasts they are
Thank for shearing mark 👍that was good to see the postie bikes having fun 😀
No worries mate! :-)
the third bike shown is very nice, not only functionally clean but aesthetically as well!
That was fun to watch and was obviously way better to do. Gotta keep my eye open for a little bike to mess around on.
Good onya mate! :-)
Great to see there's a group of postie riders. Awesome!
Yep sure is! :-)
Brilliant bikes and great fun had by all. I enjoyed that, Mark.
KOR 👍
Thanks Keith and good onya! :-)
ALL bikes are cool!
Good old Charlie. Great video, Mark. Gotta love the Posties!
Thanks mate! :-)
I smiled and laughed the whole way through this video. Good one Mark. I almost want a Postie …… no I don't, no I don't. You nearly had me there. I'm better now.
LOL... Good onya Smitty! :-)
And a good time was had by all, cheers.
That's it Mike! :-)
Enjoyed ! like the fast foward bit
Just did a weekend up at the Leanganook camp at Mt Alexander myself a fortnight or so ago, if only I had been there when you blokes were up there!
Love the channel mate, love seeing the sights of Bendigo from another blokes perspective
G'day Zachary, yeah great little spot... Bugger we missed! :-)
Love these bikes! My first real bike was a CT70 and I always wanted one of the Trail 90's or Trail 110's. Sadly they are as scarce as hens teeth in the area I live in. The odd one comes up but it's usually big dollars for a bike needing a ton of work.
You guys ride like Professional Moto-cross riders! Heck, I just "putt" around on my 1972 Honda Trail 90.
When you accidentally said Postie 120s I immediately had the Lifan 125cc engine swap come to mind. Supposed to give them much more power. The whole engine/trans are pretty cheap online, brand new. Might be an idea for a future build for you. Make the fastest Postie in the group. Haha
Looks like a lot of fun. I have a Versys 300 but I don't like riding fast. This is the kind of thing I would love to do.
You guys are awesome.
My first bike was a Hodaka Ace 100. I rode it year round .rain ,snow ,ice ,.12 miles each way to work and never dumped it . But man it was cold riding to work in the winter at 6am
Love it! Good times, great video.
Thanks John! :-)
Some nice posties mate good stuff! Noticed a RD sticker on that last one good stuff.
Bloody brilliant! I'd love one of those for tooling around on!
Yeah pure fun! :-)
street moto yea doesn't have to be a 1200cc , I reckon looking at these little bikes they seem to be becoming a bit of a cult, see Honda have brought a super trail cub 125 cc out but not yet available in the U K yet . Be interesting to see the prices .
I like it. I am going to buy one Postie bike soon.
Man that looked like you all had a blast :)
keep well mate ;)
Yep sure did... Thanks! :-)
Love it keep up the vids
when london dizzy meets outback postie : " we're going that way then? ok.."
Good to see a lot of MONARCHS MCC out and about, you failed to mention them Mark.
Great video
Cheers
Thanks Jim! :-)
i cant wait for the new ct 125 to come out im going to sell my cafe racer and put cash on for one. im going to keep my moped and ltz400 tho and my vw van.
7:21 - Mark, What are the Pros and Cons of this license plate (tag), "Club Permit"?
I noticed that Marks Postie can catch and beat the new postie. I thought the new tech made it the fastest? Maybe it has lost some torque???
I like these little bikes. They look great fun. Wonder if I can find one for sale around here(Pyrenees Orientals). Really fancy kitting one up as a mini weekend adventure bike. No need for speed. Just potter along taking in the scenery. Pull up somewhere. Chill out. Good mpg too! Gimme!
Yeah that's the way to do it mate! :-)
@@BikerBits spent a couple of hours on the internet looking for one yesterday. No luck yet but I'm going to keep looking. Cheers
Best part about these little bikes is the high/low range.
I don't think these have the high/low transmission
@@timhudson1846 , I know the new CT 125 does not have the high low range, I assumed the ct110 still had that option.
@@jimsteele7108 I had read somewhere??
That the Australian Postie NBC bikes didn't have the high low transmission either ? I'm not positive about that.
Awsome
Thanks RD :-) Still sporting your sticker on both Posties!
As a young teen my Dad passed on to me his Honda C90 which would not MOT again, he had been using it as a work ride. So my best mate, who had an OSSA 250 (and his Dads workshop) and I welded some steel plates between the back shocks and the swing arm to lift the back to get some ground clearance, stripped off anything it didn't need and for 2 summers I had the best time of my life on that thing tearing up the local disused quarry with him and the other local scramblers. Used up 3 sets of front forks but man that thing could move with just my 8 stone wringing wet skinny arse on it.
Bloody Ripper mate! :-)
@@BikerBits cheers for the comment :) Enjoying the channel.
Great looking bikes, love the side pannier mods and boy do they seem to be able to carry a lot of luggage.Where did he get the brackets for them?
Bit of straight stock with a few bends and a zap of a welder.
Yeah they can carry a lot... I actually carried a postie bike on a postie bike! :-) He made them I believe.
I want one!
LOL :-) Good onya mate!
This just looks great fun , puts a smile on yer kite.
I would love to see some videos on how to hop up a postie. You could shave the head for a little more compression, change exhaust, things like that.
Yeah that would be cool! :-)
Easier to pop a Loncin? engine in at 170cc, I think.
And then hop that up!!
top vid, thanks
My pleasure mate! :-)
... noice and green.
Well I seen it all now heated grips in Australia I dont use them and I live in the UK
Bloody good video... I can't understand who the two thumbs down came from? 😕
What is everyone putting in the round tubes mounted to the racks and crash guards?
Tools and stuff!
Hey Mark, what year model is the XR250 tank they were using do you know?
Sorry mate I don’t know!
Hi Mark, what year bike do you have ? and what is the best year for the CT-100 ? Thanks for all your videos.
Both Charley and Tango are 2010 models. Not sure if there is a best year? Cheers Mark
Merry Christmas
why dont they make something like a ct200 that seems to be the perfect size 20hp still small and light but not moped sized
dont get me wrong i still want a super cub but uping up a hill in a timely maner would be nice
so the big bore kit to make it 125 can you feel the increase?
Autobots roll out.
Personally I don't know but I hear it give it way more pull... Torque! :-)
@@BikerBits ok cheers
👏👏👌
how far do you go on the bike
Normally not far about 100 kms but I have done an 1800km trip on it :-)
How fast is that fuel injected one ?
I pretty sure the best you'll get is 100kms
some times i have more fun on my moped on a hot day then i do on my ltz400 on the road. as the moped i can get past any line of cars stuck in a jam where the ltz400 i have to sit there in all my gear baking like a cupcake in the oven. so i think the ct125 will be great as i can go on road and off road and its will be nil the sound of the ltz400 and have people bitch at me for being to loud. plus the is only one good offroad track were i live i can take the ltz400 then back on the road with out people bitching. but the ct 125 they would just think im nuts doing all the good tracks then back on the road to get home for cold beers. :)
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'd like to understand better, you have a very difficult accent for me to understand (I'm Italian). Anyway I love the roads you are showing us. Enjoy your life!
Postman walk here in the UK you ozzies are lazy lol
I fault no man for wanting to get some wind in his hair.but I wouldn't let anyone know I was riding a moped.
Riding one of those postie bikes in my neck of the woods could land a guy a butt whoopin. That's an Australian thing. In Kentucky, USA, it's street cruisers, sport bikes, dual sport/adventure bikes or dirt screamers. A postie bike is a no go. But I enjoyed the heck out of this video.
Great video. Total shame the producer gave NO CREDIT or acknowledgement to the Monarchs Motorcycle Club. These events take planning and don’t just happen. The Monarchs are a diverse group and this is just an example of the events, both official and unofficial that are organised and conducted by a great Club. Some acknowledgement of that would have been appreciated.

Your bike's horn sounds like it has throat cancer.
Not as yet! :-)
Postie bikes are like fat women.....great fun to ride but you wouldn't want your mates to see you doing it !!
