    I just purchased today for $1,400 off of Craigslist a 1967 ct90 runs fantastic. Brake lights don't work, the air filter is not mounted as of yet. but other than that I am thankfull!, I brought him down from 1800 to 1400 thankfully. now it's in my garage for more investment-😁💪

    I hadn't ridden one of these since 1968 but just picked up a 1983 CT 110 with only 677 miles on it. Haven't had it off road yet but will camp with it in about 2 weeks in the Sierras east of Fresno, CA. It should make a perfect, sneak quietly through the forest bike.

IMHO for my bit of off roading I'd rather do it on this, than all the massive, heavy, GS's and similar- looks like fun, and, this video ,now in 2020 has become relevant again because Honda are remaking this kind of bike again, albeit only for the Japanese market for now.

    Its interesting to see the Trail 90 in low-range......I can see why that is nice to have.....your literally going so slow that the large rocks and terrain can be navigated by putting your feet down and just letting it crawl over things.
    My dad has an old Trail 90 just like yours that hasn't run for 30 years.......I should drag that thing out and get it running again.
    I've only rode it once for a very short time and it developed a scored piston so its been sitting ever since.

    • @scottydoes8379
      @scottydoes8379  Před 7 lety +2

      They are quite impressive for their small size, and very easy to ride. As silly as they look, they can be a-lot of fun.
      I'm not a hunter, but I've known many old deer hunters that praise these things as being able to lug large game out of the deep and narrow woods with ease.
      The only mod most people recommend is to replace the rectifier (behind the battery) with a modern one from radio shack.. and check the fuel tank for flakes.. If you got a flaky tank and dont want to clean it, just run some external filters from the tank and you'll be good to go.
      I also used to foul out spark plugs relatively quickly, so maybe carry an extra plug

    • @Dan-qp1el
      @Dan-qp1el Před 7 lety

      It's a gopro hero 3+ black on a chest mount.
      I prefer the helmet mount personally, but the chest mount is good if you don't want head movement in the video. You also have to hike the chest mount as high as possible or else the video is too low in my opinion.
