Still pretty slow, huh? 😂 I just saw a guy with a RS and it definitely looked better than my standard XA. Did they come with better suspension?
Oh yeah, still the 105hp-ish engine and suspension etc.. If I remember correctly, the only difference for the RS was just a 'body kit'.. it was also a 5spd manual.. that might have been the only caveat?
Cool ride
Great video! Reminds me of the Klamath Falls area
Pay attention, Pup
Man I remember when I first got a trail 90 in like 2014 and I watched this video when it just came out....
This bike is still with you?
Bong rips to you
日本はハンターカブの部隊を設立すべきだ! 銃座を付ければアクセルを吹かしながら銃撃戦が出来る。
You know it's about to get real when the ct switches to low range
Gotta get the brush guards. It Saves your leavers.
Super Dope. Equipped with the secret Hondaline Ballsomoter accessory in the middle to make sure *you're doing it right* .
I've never ridden anything like this. Is it first gear all the way up?
that was success! You got down and you're bike is fine. Looks like a fun time
This is pretty much my back yard!!! I just posted a pic right by there on the yamaha tw200 world page of the beginning of a 100 ish mile ride.
badass machine. Cool video.
Was that low range 1st gear?
Im pretty sure it was mostly 2nd and 3rd. It might have even been 3rd and 4th.. (I have a bad habit of lugging bike engines, plus the altitude was over a mile high). I probably should have kept it in 1st and 2nd
I want, i need!! :))
Bullet proof.💜🙏
I hadn't ridden one of these since 1968 but just picked up a 1983 CT 110 with only 677 miles on it. Haven't had it off road yet but will camp with it in about 2 weeks in the Sierras east of Fresno, CA. It should make a perfect, sneak quietly through the forest bike.
We are outside of Kingsburg and have one of those. took it to tamarack ridge on a guys trip and the motorcycle guy loved it after about 10 min of riding. great for utility too. have had 2 since my great grandparents bought them in ‘68 and ‘70. the 68 was my great grandpas and was used the crap out of lol. dead reliable little bikes.
Can't do the same on a Hummer. That thing can destroy a hill. The bike can climb one.
You are a terrible rider
I just purchased today for $1,400 off of Craigslist a 1967 ct90 runs fantastic. Brake lights don't work, the air filter is not mounted as of yet. but other than that I am thankfull!, I brought him down from 1800 to 1400 thankfully. now it's in my garage for more investment-😁💪
Superb demo of a hard enduro for the CT90, well ridden sir.
I always wanted one; now I'm 66 and can afford to...
Hey Steve I understand what you're saying my brother, I bought a 1967 today for $1,400 a very thankful runs great
61 just got two projects 71, 72 can't wait to get them going.😊💜🙏
Couldn't you ride up on the grass?
Gnarly rollercoaster trail
With the step gear box, these are unstoppable and will out climb most of the newer bikes!
You realize you could have just stopped for a minute and moved that tree from across the road and then gone on your merry way and even been a blessing to the next person that used that trail.
Great video shows what a little ct90 can do What jetting are you running. Motor sounds spot on
Excellent! but dangitall, now i have to have one!! and, well, SHE ain’t gonna like that!😳🙄
What you in such an all fired hurry for son?
What cha
Well negotiated!
Has a 4 wheel drive.
This place looks kinda like Kamloops B.C in Canada
Looking forward for the Hunter Cub 125
If only it had the high/low range.
and it's about 60+lbs heavier. My ct90 is light enough to transport on the back of my 2 dr wrangler.
Tough little bugger!
Where is this?
Near Bend Oregon, Horse Ridge
Hopefully the CT125 will be in the US.
:)
Yup. Local dealer doesn’t have one yet.
@@JeffinTD Same
I am highly tempted to buy one. Back in college I had a CX500 and a buddy had a Trail 110 that we would let each other ride. I know how fun these would be... but then I have a big adventure bike, and atv’s, that don’t get ridden enough.
@@JeffinTD Man if they weren't so pricey i'd definitely invest. I been riding fourwheelers so it'd be different getting used to
Well six years later it's still good to watch. Brilliant little bike. IMHO for my bit of off roading I'd rather do it on this, than all the massive, heavy, GS's and similar- looks like fun, and, this video ,now in 2020 has become relevant again because Honda are remaking this kind of bike again, albeit only for the Japanese market for now.
Nope US and Europe too. :)
@@Romin.777 ya but no hi/low range! CTs rrock.
@@sscbkr48 Exactly! i want one. :))
Are you running stock front shocks? I never heard them bottom out.
stock everything
How fast did you get that thing going? Looked really fast. I've only gone 30 on my '71 k3.
In this video I dont remember, looks like 35-40mph around 0:33?.. I have had the speedo pegged (over 60mph) for over 12miles coming down a mountain hwy before.. you shoulda seen the looks on peoples faces as I passed them in the bicycle lane.. (sorry no video of that though)
😭
👌👍❤️
😂
I have climbed some crazy hills on these little hondas
what happens if you run out of gas. yikes.
Baby's out on Bail they have reserve and also a spare gas tank
I've gotten up some pretty steep mountains near Tahoe. Like you're looking down at Hawks circling. Of course then you have to get back down...
1966 my first cycle, I wonder where it is now !
Still chugging along most likely
Man! I wish they still make those! And what a view! Truly a lucky man.
Steve Mc yeah i saw it, looks promising. The only thing that lacks is the kick start.
