great vid, thanks for patiently explaining it. Please explain a little about the "writing facing you" when utting the belt on? And, why is a chicken egg there on the floor?
no problem and thats what mechanics have always told me so thats the way i have always replaced belts with the writing facing toward you. not sure if it is the correct way but its the way i do it and i think thats an old golf ball lol
babbitts has a lot of that stuff plus a diagram of it all thats how i get all my parts. sometimes i will take the part number from there and copy it in to ebay and find it cheaper www.yamahapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/yam/50038fd0f870021f60a0cafd/clutch
Would u have any idea what part number the washer and nut is to keep the clutch and belt secure? Lost them on accident, kinda confused on the diagram, if u can find out that’ll be great bro, I have a 2005 Yamaha grizzly 660
www.yamahapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/yam/50039181f870021f60a0d57a/clutch you should be able to find them on that link up above 90179-16005-00 looks like that part number for that nut but look at that diagram to make sure we are looking at the same thing
