- I always add a small 3/4 inch bend to the top of the Fascia. Once you slide it into the Gable Trim it is locked in. Just finish it off with some screw or nails on the bottom, depending on what part of the country you are in. 😉
Nice job.
Looks clean 👌
Your outfit matches the trim & siding 💀
Elite product and installation 🙏👏🏿👍🙌🏾🇺🇸❤️give us more installation education please 🙏
I love that! Great idea
Nice job
Oh Crap. Why didnt i think of that. Been doing it all wrong. 😅
Looks good. Nice job! Black is tough color to work with. When the sun hits it, it goes crazy. We bend a crown and jump the drip edge on gables. Mimics a 1 by. Keep up the good work
Very nice 👍
Beautiful job, what kind the nail gun your using and nails ?
You need a little mic or a voiceover ( You seem like a busy guy for a voiceover.), but I bet your content will take off.
What do you use to bend these?
Is it a 3/4 hymn on the top of that metal or not that usually helps take a wave out of it as well
Where can I find this metal fascia? Home Depot only has vinyl
Do you nail it in?
That’s one beautiful trick
No way best fascia detail is lp siding as fascia, no bubbling after it expands, no hail dents.
Thank you for this! I just started doing gutters and trim and work with a guy who cares ZERO about the look. He puts lots of nails in the face and it hurts my soul. Where do you guys put nails?
On the bottom
Ya nail every 3’ or so under in the soffit groove into fascia board. No nails on the front that way.
I already hate that guy you work with. Tell him LOOKS MATTER. Fucking nails in the face 😅 fml
You are from where
That is what I need! Can you come to Hawaii?
For a price 😂
😂 understand!
If you have to replace rotted fascia first, what wood do you like to use?
Really depends on what is existing. Typically 2x6 here
What is that white piece tucked underneath the drip edge?
That's the original subfascia which is part of the structural support.
Would you ever use staples for flácia?
I don't think so
@@calebhenry-countryhomeexte6535 what would you recommend?
I normally don’t see aluminum fascia around, is there a reason? Wood exposed here in Florida always get water from the dripping edges and rotten pretty frequently. I am considering install in my house unless I can find a way to refinish the wood to remove all imperfections.
We’re in Canada, much different climate than Florida. Probably too hot for aluminum down there.
@@calebhenry-countryhomeexte6535 yes, Florida is always too hot. 🥵. We are on the 20s in middle December. 😩
I install soffit, aluminum Facia and gutters in Tampa Fl and can confirm it is very popular here! In my experience, many roofers such as Westfall Roofing highly suggest it due to stopping wood rot; definitely not too hot for it!
@@ExteriorExpertsOfFlorida If I may ask what’s the price per linear foot to install?
@@JayPromotions it depends. I personally charge about $12-14 a foot for both soffit and Facia, however I’ve seen roofers charge upwards of $20/foot for both. It just comes down to knowing ur client.
Whats the lurpose of the 3/4 nend at the top?
It helps the Fascia lock into the Gable Trim so it is not likely to get blown of the house.
Does it help with oil caning?@@calebhenry-countryhomeexte6535
What type of cojmpany does this? roofers? gutter people?
Siding Installers
harness but not tied off? :/

Guardrail all around here
I'm curious as to about what you would charge to have that done and I know it depends on the size of the home
Too many factors to say…
Usually around 4$ a foot labor alone. Everything labor and material at least double
