This Kia is back with another misfire. Check out the cause of the current and previous misfire with this 2 for 1 hard misfire at idle. Thank you for watching!
I got this p0301 and despite unplugging all the coils and in all occasions the engine showed some change (meaning all the spark plugs/coils are "fine") then what could be the problem? What should be my next move?
Haha yessir! Thank you! Ya I think we recently talked about this on IG, supposedly new coatings on threads, plug manufacturers are saying no more anti seize *shrugs*
No sir, that is just part of the picture. I remember learning this stuff Im like its got a good current ramp tho!? The problem lies within the voltage!
What kind of spark plugs did you use when you replaced it? I’ve had multiple coils go out on my car, I did my plugs about a year ago, but I’m pretty sure I installed those same ngk plugs. Having coil issues, again! I have the same car as the one in this video.
@@DiagnosticDennis well I took your advice, I took my old plugs out & checked the gap, they were at about .090 when my car calls for .044 🤣 & yes I did put ngk plugs in… only about 40k miles ago too. Unfortunately I could t find any densos, had to put in autolites but my problem is gone now. I’ll never buy ngk again
@@HondaRedneck16 ha very good to hear. On my Instagram I’ve consistently condemned them misfiring. Usually on a dead coil, and always replace the spark plug under the dead coil, cus the plug probably killed the coil. Your case sounds like just plugs. But autolite is even worse than NGK so do your self a favor and order denso. They’re everywhere, you should be able to find them. Check rockauto.
Great video, good explanation on the spark waveforms !
Wow Dennis, that's so fucking awesome how fast you were able to identify the failure 👍
Some really good content keep it up.
Thank you! I'm trying man!
nice work very professional the boss should give you a raise in pay .well done
Awesome , 🤙nice diag good info brotha ...!
Thank you brotha!

Qual é essa graxa do pote vermelho que você está utilizando nas bobinas de ignição
Nice keep it up !
Thank you Im trying!!
Good stuff
Good info man 👍
What set up are you using with the laptop ?
Thank you brotha. Picoscope
Money in the bank and a happy customer ! Nice brotha! What’s with the no anti seize?

So the coil current ramp waveform alone could not point to a bad coil?
