- If you've seen my recent videos, you would have noticed I've become rather cocky in terms of my ability to eat spicy food. This day of eating Chongqing's spiciest foods made me realise..... I'm just a little baby

The real achievement is she hit up 3 different spicy resto and didn’t get a spot on her white shirt!!!
You would certainly know from this video why Chongqing is renowned for having best Anorectal department in China 😂
So true
And hopped on a plane back to Beijing hours after 😂
Girl! This is one of the most entertaining videos you've done! It felt like I was also experiencing what you all were experiencing also. I miss trying new foods and experiences
See is nice
Well done Amy ! You've done Aussies proud. Not only for the spiciness, but also the ingredients in the hotpot - pig aorta , roof of the pigs mouth , and brain - to highlight a few. That's above and beyond !
Lol she should be rewarded a crown!!!
她太勇敢,我绝不会吃这些东西。
Absolutely!!
pig aorta and pig mouth is a delicacy. but pig brain!??? i must definitely tell you it's not common to eat pig brain here.
yeah brain!? seriously? think about the scary prion diseases
"What are we gonna do after lunch?"
"We go get some pills, then we use them together."
"Great"
This was absolutely insane. I used to be a connoisseur of spicy foods but after a bout with a stomach ulcer I've stayed away from very spicy stuff. The pain was the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. You are one brave girl, respect.
Fun fact, you never really build up any tolerance of spicy stuff. You only lose some of your pain-detecting nerve ending which causes you to feel less tinglyness when you consume spicy food. There is no such thing as spicy-eating ability. There is only nerve damage...
Hilarious reactions. You’ve definitely leveled up. Only the spiciest levels took you out.
Took her out the back, punched her in the gut and basically tenderized Amy until she broke down in agony. Sad thing is, “she asked for it” and BOY, did she get it. BAD.
Still remember few years ago,I was cooking, and I had to pee while I was making a dish with chili ! Drop the knife and went to the bathroom.few seconds later I rolled on the ground!!!15 minutes later I Barely get up and hold the wall, back to kitchen, open the refrigerator, use milk wash my………
Forget it
Very brave, Amy! I know I can't handle it. When I was in Chongqing a few years back, even a regular spicy was more than enough!
You brave lady! Every time I go back to Chongqing to have hotpot, my tongue is like “that’s delicious, I like it”. For the following 2 days, I will be firing sh*t.
I am from HK and spicy food is not on our menu.
But when I first went to Chongqing in 1987, and as usual, I fell in love with the food and the city. But the worst thing is the burning feeling when you go to the toilet the next day.
It's been more than 26 years since my last visit, from the pics n videos I have seen, the city has completely transformed but i believe the food has changed as well, for the better, and more varied.
Can't wait to go back when the pandemic is over.
Good job Amy👍
但不要再 貼錢買難受了🤣🤣
据说,重庆有中国排名前三的肛肠科医院
@@user-we5mb3cl2q 谁给你说的啊。
My dear welcome to Chongqing, the city has changed a lot but the feeling will be the same, or you can to the urban to experience the old CQ
@@zqlove2009 my favourite activity was to walk along the old river side, talk to the people, learn how they spend a day.
I am curious about them, and vice versa.
Problem is they speak very little mandarin. I suspect those places are now long gone, to make way for more modern buildings and structures.
I also love to visit the local markets.
呐,这回你知道为啥牛逼的肛肠医院都开在重庆了吧🤣
I'm living vicariously through you, since I can't eat really spicy foods any more, for medical reasons. You're a champ!
Amy, you’ve got my respect. All these things look absolutely delicious, but please do ‘t hurt yourself like this again. 🤣
God, I can’t even eat The smallest amount of spice, I can’t eat anything spicy 🥵. Even my parents who come from Guangzhou think this is so spicy! You’ve definitely went up! Since the first time I started watching your channel, you have upgraded so much!
Well to be fair, Cantonese people ain't known for being able to handle spicy food
I salute you Amy & your mates. You guys are BRAVE
I love eating spicy food but i’ve been diagnosed with rosacea and eating spicy food seems to be a trigger to make my face go all red. How envious i am of you eating all that spicy food! But you did amazing Amy 🤩
Wow! I don’t think I could tolerate even the least spicy of those dishes. And the deadly duck head would probably consume me! 😂
Maybe don’t put these on my list, although the content would be funny ….. for others😜
would LOVE to see you eat any of these dishes hahhahaa
Do it dad
DO IT DAD 👍🏻💯
Do it dad
I can see by your lovely replies …. that you want to see me do it sooooo………. I’m going to do it!!
I may need oxygen on stand by and a fire extinguisher!
Can’t wait to be able to visit China again and see my 👱♀️
"At one stage I thought I was gonna pass out, vomit and poop myself all at the same time" ahahahah this seems like an ordinary Family Guy's episode.
Btw: Amy you are FREAKING crazy for trying this challenge ! Greetings from Italy :)
Dare Devil Amy! This was an amusing episode. I'm such a wimp that I no longer attempt to eat any dish that's beyond mild level spiciness. Anything beyond that is just torture for me.
you are brave. i love spicy food, but that is another level
Amy, I was feeling really nervous for all of you. Hope you are fully recovered by now.
This is the most intersting food adventure I have ever seen. It reminds me of my brave histories of challenging spice when I was young. I can't wait to come back to China to try the ReDeRu and the duck head.
Thanks for the video, I grew up as a kid in Chongqing and all of these videos are very nostalgic. I really miss the food. Hope China opens back up so I can pig out in Chongqing.
I hope that you will recover from your digestive system soon, Miss Amy. Take care.
The spicy hotpot in Chongqing (重慶) is so delicious and intense. Even I haven't tried it yet, but really don't eat too much spicy food.♨️🌶
Unlike the delayed effect of eating those super spicy dishes watching your videos produces instantaneous but similarly long-lasting pleasure! :D
I cannot believe you guys ate three extra spice dishes in 3 different restaurants on the same day, in a row. That's literally mad...😮
I love your awesome videos! I used to watch The Food Ranger, Sunny and Mark Wein but you rock!!! And I love your channel name! You don't just entertain about food but also beautiful places and people, and you are so funny, respectful and entertaining! Love you and now I am hook and addicted to your videos!!! Keep up the awesomeness!!!
Omg lol this is so entertaining. I laughed all the way through. Hope you get lots lots of views and subs!
Kudos to you for standing up to the challenge! RESPECT!
well done, Amy. Well done! you have got my respect! three bows to you and to your digestive system!
Girl! I stumbled upon this older vid of yours, crazy fun. I subscribed at the first vid i came across a few months back. But seing this one, i'm gonna watch your back catalogue as well ;)
Thank you Amy for showing me the ultra spicy meals I know I can't handle and won't ever eat! I have never tried the hotpots in Sichuan and Chongqing yet but I am too big of a chicken to try beyond less spicy here.
By far one of the funniest videos on CZcams! You are AWESOME Blondie!!!!
You have put many people to shame, you have gained more bragging rights 👍
So sorry, but I was crying laughing from your reactions and those of your companions. I hope you're fully recovered!
Holly Molly! I felt steam coming out from my head while watching you eating the hot spicy foods 😂
Amy's videos never disappoint
Love the editing on this video and wow you are brave with all that spice!
The intro for the crew is bloody awsome. You guys are like the spice avengers haha.
This was amazing. I was totally grossed out and couldn't stop watching. Please don't do this to yourself again. Even for views. I'll watch any of your videos anyway. I love your food journeys and have always wanted to travel over to China. Living vicariously through you is entertaining. I appreciate your channel, your love of food, the culture and the people. Thank you
Love love love you're videos, So informative and entertaining. Much love Seattle Washington!!
you are already spicy queen! very fun and enjoyable video! thanks!
You and your friends are insanely brave!!😱🌶️🔥🥵Loving the background music♥️
Love this episode, all your guest are so funny too! Haha!
Welcome to the club. I once had it so spiced up my stomach 'burned' throughout the night until the next morning.
This was an amazing video, music choice and placement, all individuals in the vid, omg the spice
Hope speedy recovery and take good care of your health for more fun adventures
OH MY GOD😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 THIS WAS SUCH AN INTENSE VIDEO SHOUT OUT TO YOU AMY🔥🔥🔥
Why.... just why? But honestly. THANK YOU FOR SACRIFICING YOURSELF FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT!!! GREAT VID AS ALWAYS.
that was seriously making me laugh out laud many times. Love the spicy reactions!
The music choice really brings out the spiciness of it all.
Really enjoy your videos. Well done!
Wow kudos to Amy. I dont think I could handle Chongqing spices. Great video Amy 😃
Great content. You and your friends are the coolest.
I love you so much Blondie !
By the look, I'd say 熱得滷 might be roughly around 400k-600k SHU, that is what gives the "spice you silly" effect, then the tummy grumble with pain from the duck head can be around the ghost pepper level of SHU which is 800k to 1m...
You are right in what you say about people thinking their food is too spicy for westerners. Three years ago we stayed in the Chongqing Hilton, Yuzhong District, and found a food street within close walking distance. I ordered chicken with chillies at a pavement cafe/restaurant by pointing at the picture on the wall. The food was delivered and I started eating when my wife, who was abstaining, told me I was being watched. I looked up to find about ten people stood around my table. Chefs, waiting staff etc from our restaurant and the adjoining one. I finished it without a problem but I do know my limits and wouldn't attempt what you ate. Maybe if I was fifty years younger and full of bravado lol. A backstreet restaurant in Bangkok once refused to serve me a green curry as she said it would be too spicy for me and in Sharm El-Sheikh, the chef came out and saluted me when I polished off a hot African curry. He was obviously watching and thought I wouldn't manage it. Any hotter and I wouldn't have. Always enjoy your videos.
Really loved this video, so entertaining and hilarious 😂
BRILLIANT! WELL DONE ALL OF YOU!!! 🙏
Hahaha this was crazy! Was grimacing throughout the entire video with every bite of brains, intestines, blood, all soaked in the spiciest sauces possible 🔥🔥🔥 I only like spicy food when it brings out the flavour and it's enjoyable. Not a glutton for punishment like Mamy 😂 Wildly entertaining though!
Daaamn what the hell! I thought I'd be quite ok with tolerating spice and might be able to keep up with you but BOIY was I wrong, you really are on another level apparently :'D At this point I feel like you don't even have taste buds anymore XD
Love watching your videos, i dont eat spicy food, but it kinda looks soooo good. Keep up the awesome vibes and stay blessed.... we are from north Sydney
Wow, you sure are gutsy trying all that spicy food, you did awesome 👏👍👍😃
I grow up in chongqing, and I cant imagine how spicy 特辣 is.
The thing about spice is, the remedy is not water, tea or soda. Drink milk, or if you can get it, soy milk...
She’s lactose intolerant😂😂
I am crying with laughter - this is one of your best videos of all time.
the dramatic stand and challenging quotes lmao you guys are hilarious🤣
Wow Amy, you and your friends are so brave!!🤪💪🏻🌶😨😵💫🥴🌶💪🏻🤪 Thanks so much for taking us to these spicy places and actually trying them out!!🫢🫣😬 Guess I won’t be able to tag along with you this time.😅😂🤣 Looking forward to seeing your next vlog with milder food items.😎🤭🤡
This is your masterpiece.. btw why can't I stop watching your videos 😂
Lmfao I loved this episode! be my tour guide when I visit China!
One time I ate such spicy food that I got so dehydrated and had an awful headache for five entire days afterward. Thanks for the video, and thanks for sharing your friends with us!
Your three companions are so much fun
来回味这一集了哈哈。你们真的辛苦了,我们看的开心,你们真勇敢
Kudos to you, Amy!
Your friends are so cute , they made me laugh so much
I really want Amy to be a guest on First we feast. “Hot One’s”
She can easily handle those hot wings!
I don't think the warning to us to not try it was necessary 😂😂😂 Well done Amy! Not many people is brave enough to eat spice back to back to back like what you did👑
Wow Amy - eating anything spicy for me is just taking away from my enjoyment of the dish. Can't relate to the experience as once the dish is spicy, I can no longer taste the flavor. Kudos to you and your friends for enduring this level of spice but beside this being a sport or challenge I can't believe that the food is enjoyable. Anyway - I do enjoy your videos and have watched for 2 years +.
Spicy food is like extreme sports it is not necessarily but you could get hooked up to it.
You are sooooo brave Amy; I couldn't do that myself as someone who loves and craves hot food every now and then!!! Also take care of your tummy, I don't want Amy to hurt her body 😂
Amy you are such a trooper!
Love to see your Chinese friends in the video too. Very entertaining 😂
You are hilarious! Love your video!
BGM on point, you are the bravest foreigner I know, respect.
Your best episode to date 😂 so good. I eat ghost peppers sometimes raw from my garden for the adrenaline so I know the pain!
Amy, this is definitely one of those times where I am just living vicariously through others (in this case, you!). I can't have spicy levels even at medium because it will trigger a horrible, painful gout attack on my body!
Thanks for posting your experiences with us, regardless. It's always a nice treat to see you living your best life! Cheers.
Those dried chillies, if well toasted/fried, adds an additional robust nutty & spicy kick - add & eat a piece together with whatever morsels of food you take in your mouth for the added flavorful power experience. Cheers !
amy you are so brave!!!!
I just read the title and I’m already cracking up! 😂
Your three spice pals are quite entertaining 😂
I cannot do spicy foods either. Thanks for trying this out. You're more entertaining than Trevor James himself!
So very cool, thank you! 🙆♀️
I felt that I was shot by TEAR SMOKE or PEPPER SPRAY when I visited Chongqing, ordering Maoxuewang and telling them don't make it too spicy over and over again!
China is so diverse! Thanks for showing us all the different facets.
Wow Amy your chili prowess is so strong. For a blondie, double strong.
Amy from down under we so proud you promoting China & Mandarin
老板有意思。Amy说不辣,老板用轻蔑的眼神说了句"再加点辣呗”,心里想着给这老外上一课。
OMG Amy I can’t believe you are doing this 😂 As what I’ve told you, I cannot handle even the least spicy level in Chongqing or Sichuan. What I can have is probably only the Cantonese spicy and that will make me sweat if I keep eating. But hey, once in a lifetime experience and I’m sure you had fun 😆 Will probably NOT compete with you with my spice tolerance but do come visit Guangdong again and be ready for some other kinds of weird food ingredients 😉
you already won the moment you decided to challenge it. good work Amy!
You just have the best personality!
Hi, you should definitely try the food in Jiangxi!
I’m glad you survived!!!
