That's something you can do in arcade versions of mortal kombat 2 (rev 2.1 and 3.1) the revision played in this video is the 3.1.

@@insectduel Humanly possible, works like johnny cage head glitch in mortal kombat 1, you setup the babality or friendship input before the character assumes his victory pose, in that frame you just press the last button for babablity-friendship and it will work.

Lol. People don't realize what tool assisted means. Some of the CPU whiffs and his combos aren't possible. Evident by late fatalities, stage fatalities and friendships in the same match and jumping over an opponent and punching or kicking backwards. It is satisfying for those of us who got our ass handed to us by cheap CPUs
I mean, believe-me most of mortal kombat 2 combos are totally possible, watch parallax mkchile channel to see they all doing these combos at arcade machines, consoles or even doing gameplays during live streams showing their hands and playing against hardest levels making some crazy combos, it's just pratice.
Now you're right about CPU AI manipulation, it's just possible by recording with tool assistance, for sure can be did or saw during normal gameplays but will be a rare ocasion due mortal kombat II AI be ridiculous cheated and strong, play it at hardest level to play against characters were for unknown reasons will keep predicting every move or jump you do, it's a funny thing since the first Mortal Kombat has a basic AI where it's easily manipulated even without any tool assistance, Mortal Kombat 2 is another game compared to the first one by all means.

Bom não vou mentir, mortal kombat II tem uma das AIs mais poderosas que já vi em jogos de luta, mesmo jogando frame a frame como é feito em meus vídeos o tempo inteiro o CPU prevê um movimento seu, ainda mais na dificuldade máxima como botei nesse vídeo, qualquer pulo ele gera automaticamente uma resposta, qualquer movimento comum da na mesma reação, eu já sabia que era assim desde quando conheci este jogo, jogando frame a frame eu só conclui ainda mais o quão forte foi a programação feita para te vencer neste jogo, com certeza é um dos jogos que mais rendia muitas fichas para zerar em qualquer arcade porque as reações que o CPU tem são sempre ridículas kkkkk.

kkkkkk padrão, isso só pode ser feito na versão 3.1 do arcade especificamente não importa se esta sendo jogando em emulador ou qual ele for (mesmo aquelas versões de ps2 é a 3.1) mas é um frame específico, é 1 frame para acertar esse glitch, você realiza um stage com qualquer personagem, isso funciona com todos personagens e não se limita apenas a friendship, babality funciona igual. Após acertar o comando do stage você começa a fazer os comandos de friendship ou babality e no frame exato você só aperta o último botão que vai realizar o babality ou friendship, é algo bem específico mas te garanto que da para fazer de boas sem ajuda de nada.

I will try, every playthrough I try to fight him but it's very hard to manipulate the rng to fight him.

Everytime i want to fight Smoke, Dan Forden has never appeared in a 1 player game on the Portal stage. Even on my Arcade1up machine, he still doesnt appear. Ive only fought him in a 2 player game

Sure, it's called final burn alpha neo, you can either found it at emucr or in their own website. I'm using the one from emucr because the last version give me acess to setup frame advance key (the older versions you can't f1 is the standard frame advance key).

I'm using the version 0.0.03 and they still didn't implemented the slow down option, all you can do is recording by savestates, loadstates and playing by frame advance.

triple shadow kick is possible but very hard to get into the combo since it does not work against all the characters, require a accurate frame time and be at a corner.

@@mirelinunespontes3164 É uma jogabilidade gravada em emuladores com o uso de ferramentas como slow motion que seria algo como câmera lenta, frame advance que é jogar o jogo quadro a quadro, saves e loads para ajudar a prosseguir e até mesmo refazer alguma parte do gameplay, nas descrições dos meus vídeos tem uns links em pt-br explicando o que é TAS, como são feitos e o porque são feitos caso tenha interesse. O intuito desses vídeos é superar uma jogabilidade comum feita por um ser humano, tudo é gravado manualmente mas reproduzido de maneira que a gameplay saia perfeita, nem tudo tem como ser replicado por uma pessoa em tempo real, sendo assim gravamos estes vídeos tanto para superar limites que geralmente não são possíveis em tempo real quanto para entreter, não tem objetivo nenhum de mostrar habilidades reais nem nada do tipo.
