Loved the reaction! Gold or New Rules/Are You That Somebody are both amazing choices but you really can't go wrong with anything Pentatonix. If you love harmonies and don't mind slower songs, Can You Feel The Love Tonight and Imagine are both fantastic.

You noticed background vocals most reactors don't mention AND I've seen this video probably 100 times which includes reactors and you are the ONLY one that loved Kevin and Matt's smooth "wardrobe change" towards the end of the song. Welcome down the "rabbit hole" of the world of Pentatonix (PTX). When you are able to mention them by name, you will be a true "Pentaholic". Scott - baritone - blonde, Mitch - countertenor - black hair and mustache, Matt - bass, Kevin - beatboxer, and last but not least Kirstie (rhymes with thirsty)- contralto. They all have amazing ranges. You won't see Kevin sing much, but when he does he is a tenor. When Matt sings, Scott covers the bass. Their first bass was Avi Kaplan, who has his own channel now. After 5 years he quit to venture out on his own, and Matt was hired as the new bass. Matt has been their bass since 2017. They just dropped some new ones last week, including some originals, and some song collabs with KPOP and JPOP groups. I look forward to more PTX reactions.

I subbed when you reacted to their BTS mashup! You're genuine & fun to watch! A little more backstory-Scott & Mitch met as kids in a local Arlington, Texas (US) children's theatre. They went on to meet Kirstie around age 14 in choir & became known for their harmonies. Before going into the show The Sing Off (season 3 winners) they added Avi for bass (he sadly left in 2017 to have more time for family after his Moms cancer diagnosis-Matt has done amazing filling that role since then) and Kevin for beat boxing(although Kevin sings, has perfect pitch, & plays cello, piano & more & also speaks fluent Mandarin!). They have 3 Grammys, have collabed with Little Glee Monster, Ateez, Tori Kelly, Todrick Hall, Jason Derulo, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, & Lindsay Sterling to name a few. If you want to see how they are live & hear some of their original music, check out the MTV Popspring concert-3 amazing originals & the Evolution of Michael Jackson-you won't be disappointed! Welcome to the rabbit hole-& if you start having copyright issues try using a filter over the video & pause when you want to comment. So when PTX started out, they had to do almost *everything* themselves (see "Somebody That I Used to Know" for a really early one). Their arrangements were always great (although arranger Ben Bram, the invisible "sixth member" of the group, was just harshing himself on Twitter about things he doesn't like when he listens to his old arrangements now). But now, they have a crackerjack team that includes videographers, editors, wardrobe, sound engineers, etc.
Isn't it a bit awkward when covers are better than the original? Pentatonix owned these songs.
