They did the autotune on Cher song as a tribute to the original. It was famous for being the first use of autotune and was known as the Cher effect.

Doing "Believe" was also an easter egg for those of us who watched them on The Sing Off in 2011. They were supposed to do this song one week, but changed at the last minute to Video Killed the Radio Star. So to have them finally do this song was amazing.

Yes, they autotuned Kirstie as a tribute to Cher's original. In the song Believe, Cher was the first artist to ever use autotune as an artistic effect instead of a corrective effect. They even called it "The Cher Effect" back in the day.

Great reaction...know you're going down the rabbit hole of Pentatonix songs. Others will probably make many suggestions, but Daft Punk, Bohemian Rhapsody, Sound of Silence are a few of the classics. Can't wait for your reactions.
Pentatonix is DEFINITELY my favorite musical group, but I'd like to recommend a couple of different artists that will blow you away (I'm sure there's dozens)...however, Haley Reinhart covering "Creep" with PostModern Jukebox and Marcin Petrazelak, a 20 year old guitarist, who I think is the best in the world. Check out his rendition of Beethoven's 5th...remarkable !!

though this is probably my favorite of their songs now, I have to admit that Every Time We Touch was a little bit of a cheat. It was originally a '90s song, but it wasn't a dance song. Cascada completely rearranged it as a dance song in the 2000s, and that is the version that they're singing.

Never heard a band as amazing as this! Can't recommend a song cause everything they do is incredible. Same goes for Home Free. Love watching a fellow New Yorker go down these rabbit holes.
