What is really wrong is that your exhaust is right near the air vent. In this way your exhaust gases end up in the tent. The exhaust should be away from the back, and the intake fan. or you have to place an extension behind the damper. These heaters work well, provided you don't adjust anything and make sure you use regular diesel, red or white.

Thanks for the wonderful review, now the wife won't have the "it's too cold to camp in the early spring and late fall" excuse. 😁

We use days diesel heaters quite a bit up here in Michigan upper peninsula touhid everything from hunting lodges to fishing shacks out on the ice. I know of a couple of people who actually use them to heat their garage overnight to keep their vehicles warm in order to facilitate a EZ start in the morning, they just have to be very careful that they vent the exhaust away from their house, a couple of the county's actually use these in your garage to keep their vehicles warm in the winter time to have them ready for spreading salt and snow plowing, a very versatile heater as long as you are very mindful of your safety precautions, a very good review of this product you should submit your video to the manufacturer perhaps you could become a paid spokesperson for them,

I was surprised also that there aren't more videos about using this to heat a tent. It seems like a great solution to running out of heat as soon as a tiny wood stove runs out. They only use 12 watts on low once they are started. 100-120 on startup. You could theoretically run one for a day with a lawnmower battery. Only downside is firewood is free.

Or heat the tent to temp with the Woodstove then maintain the temp with the diesel heater.

The good you probably don't have the condensate like you have with propane. (Dry heat )

It’s scary the way you have the exhaust running out above your fresh air intake,,,, could get fumes

Your exhaust needs to be straight and pointing slightly down, you are creating too much backpressure
